This place is the bomb! There’s so much variety, the food is delicious, and most of all, it’s such an amazing deal. Fast Furious does Asian fast food right. You get to choose between two main categories: sushi or hibachi. I usually stick with the hawaiian bowl, which does not disappoint. It’s essentially a poke bowl, with tuna/salmon, avocado, cucumbers, mango, bell peppers, and spicy mayo all over rice. They give you really big chunks of fish and plenty of rice, so one entrée is really filling. And the best part of it all? It’s only $ 10 for some good quality fish :)

This review is on the Hawaiian Bowl — 3 words = FULL Of RICE!!! Where is the Salmon?. All I got was a table and half spoon of Tuna! Sooooo wrong. I ate the top only and had to throw the rest away. This got me thinking why didn’t I just go to In and Out Burger and be satisfied Nvr again!!!

This is like sushi in a bowl! Flavor is wonderful! Some of the best food I have ever had! Just wished they would put one in Fort Worth!

This is my third time dining here and I was ready to give them 5 stars as I do really enjoy this place and their fast hibachi concept! For the first time we ordered takeout and there is nothing more sad than getting home with your delicious takeout and your food is wrong though. Totally forgot my veggies even though they marked my box for veggies. The veggies with the steak and shrimp done on the grill are my favorite and my meal just felt incomplete. Lesson here guys? Check your takeout. *sigh* I still recommend this place for dine in though!

I went on Unilocal looking for poke, and this place seemed to be the closest fit to all my requests(near, fast, affordable). I’ve only ordered to-go, but would like to try eating there next time. As for the«poke», their closest rendition is the Hawaiian Bowl from the«TUNE-UP» section of the menu. I wouldn’t necessarily call it poke as the flavors are different, but it’s a good alternative for when I have poke cravings. Under the savory yet sweet dressing, you get a choice of tuna or salmon(or both), avocado, bell peppers, mango, and veggies over sushi rice. I’d highly recommend the Hawaiian Bowl as it is freaking delicious. We also tried the build your own noodle/rice combo once and would definitely NOT recommend getting that. The flavors for those are lacking, and the portion is tiny compared to their«TUNE-UP» bowls.

My family walked into the store, looking forward to good sushi. We had our 3 year old with us, and my parents. 15 seconds in, and we heard 5 expletives on whatever crap was playing on the speakers. We were appalled and immediately turned around to leave. This is definitely not a family friendly environment. Parents beware!

All that needs to be said about this place is that its fast and its good. They have anything from your teriyaki shrimp, teriyaki chicken to yummy Hawaiian bowl with half tuna half salmon. I love their sauces too, if you are here get both of them. One of them is this spicy sweet sauce and the other one is white peanut sauce but both of them are DELICIOUS.

Came here on a quiet Friday afternoon(after the big lunch rush). I ended up getting the Pork Bibimbap(with an egg on top of course!), Gyoza, and one Jalapeño Popper. The service was pretty quick for a bibimbap place. I received my food in about 5 minutes. The Bibimbap, while normally taste, underwhelmed me this time around. It tasted average, and the flavors were just… there. It’s a bad thing when you want to drench the dish in bibimbap sauce. The Gyoza and Jalapeño Poppers were average also. This is a quick review, but, the food was underwhelming, but the service was good. 3⁄5.

LOVELOVELOVE this place! I visited this place soon after it opened after it was recommended by a fellow coworker and was pleasantly surprised. This is probably my favorite restaurant in Las Colinas for a number of reasons — it’s fast, inexpensive, and delicious. Walking in, you can immediately notice the restaurant’s unique aesthetic, with its colorful and rustic contrasts. This, combined with the cool music selection almost gives the place a club-y feel as you’re going HAM on the food. As a first-timer, this place might be a bit overwhelming, given the awkward placement of the menu. With the restaurant’s small location, you might have to awkwardly stand in the way as you read the menu. Once you get past that, you’ll see that Fast Furious has a variety of foods and appetizers(all relatively low priced). I highly recommend the Wow Bowl. its just… WOW. The mushroom poppers and edamame are also really great appetizers. Once you order your food, you immediately pay for it and then are given a number to be called out when your food is ready. Given the place’s location and size, there might be limited seating during lunch but they’re always great about getting customers in and out quickly. The staff is always great when I visit and they provide great service. This place can get addicting so I’ve often found myself coming here multiple times a week! Definitely worth checking out!

I’ve had this place bookmarked since they opened since they are not too far from my house. Decided to drop in recently for shrimp fried rice. I was surprised to see that the set up is similar to that of Panda Express, which was initially a turn off to me but I decided to proceed with giving them a try. The food was delicious. Shrimp were clean and cooked to a perfect texture. The fried rice was flavorful and well-cooked. I ordered it spicy and it was not spicy at al and had a sweet hint, but it was still excellent after I added some Sriracha to the mix. I’d go back for a quick lunch. Prices are reasonable. Good customer service.

Awesome food! Got the number 3 beef bowl. Great staff. Everyone looks like thy love working here. The place was busy at 11:30 for lunch but only waited 5 min for food. I wish they would put one up in south lake where I work.

Not sure what the hype is about. This place was below average at best. We ordered potstickers which were cold. We asked for another order, but it was cold too. One would think a place that dished out cafeteria style food would have a way to keep food warm. The main entrees were no better. I ordered the spicy chicken bomb which was literally chicken covered in sriracha sauce. Now Im a huge fan of sriracha, but this was ridiculous. My fiancé ordered the power bowl with brown rice which was only a tad bit better. We left most of our meal behind. What a waste of 24 dollars. I came home and made a smoothie.

I was so excited to try this place, but it didn’t live up to the hype nor my expectations. It’s like a Japanese/Korean fusion restaurant. The concept itself is really cool though. The décor was awesome as well with manga decals on the wall. I originally came because I heard they had«poke bowls» but when I saw the image on the wall I decided I did not want it anymore Bc it just looked like salmon and spicy mayo and a bunch of avocados. So I opted for a salad, with the salmon. It came with cut up salmon sashimi on top of bed of mix green salad, onions and thinly sliced lemon, and on the bottom was sushi rice. I had to ask for more sauce Bc without it it tasted just so bland. the salmon did taste very fresh though. We had also gotten appetizers from the front. It reminded me of Panda Express where the food sits there and they either re-heat it up for you or just give it to you like that. We got the chicken and mushroom appetizers which were meh. My BF had gotten the kalbi meal that came with sautéed veggies which good, but tasted like any other kalbi. I don’t see why the served the kalbi in a togo box though. Clearly we were there to dine in. Why can’t they serve it nicely on a plate? Presentation would look much nicer. But guess this isn’t that type of restaurant. The food isn’t bad if you’re looking for some quick Asian fusion food. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back here though. P.S One thing I thought was cool though was in the front you could buy Japanese sake like Tyku and Japanese beer.

First of all, this is an Asian fusion restaurant and should be viewed as so. On those terms, Fast Furious Japanese Grill definitely delivers on taste and combining the traditional elegance of sashimi with modern twists to come up with their menu items. I sampled the Hawaiian Bowl, Chirashi Bowl, Kimchi Bokkeumbap. Get the Hawaiian Bowl if you want sashimi and like creamy foods, the spicy mayo made it a little too rich and creamy for my personal taste but my friends really enjoyed it. Teh Kimchi Bokkeumbap(kimchi fried rice) was super flavorful, slightly sweet and salty, not too spicy so don’t be scared to get it! I didn’t think it tasted very much like kimchi but was very savory. A little salty for my taste and I was left pretty thirsty after eating it. My favorite by far was the Chirashi Bowl, which was sashimi on top of a mixed green salad on top of a bed of sushi rice, with a yummy sauce(very reminiscent of the red sauce served with dolsot bibimbap, it may actually be the same sauce) on the side. The Chirashi Bowl is packed full of flavor but feels lighter than the Hawaiian and Kimchi fried rice. Also, this restaurant lives up to its name! There was only about a 5 minute wait between my group(6 people) ordering food and when the food started coming to our table. This would be a convenient place to come if you need food in a hurry. The food was good but not amazing. What takes Fast Furious from 4 stars to 5 is their customer service. Some of us were sitting at a table waiting for the rest of our group to arrive and one of the workers came out to chat with us and we all thought that was nice enough of him to take the time to do that. But there was more coming! A minute after departing from our table, he returned with a pile of 10+ complimentary gyoza for us to munch on while we waited! So nice of him and it definitely left a good impression of this restaurant and the friendly, customer-first atmosphere.

This is one of my favorite places to be at, if I can find excuses to eat here(which I totally could make some up, every week). The quality of the ingredients to the ambience make this place one of my Top 5 favorite inexpensive restaurants in Irving. Hands down, the most dope interior design. It features comic-styled vibrant colors around the walls, and the chairs are adorable and poppy. The menu even has that race-track vibe too! For the culinary delights, I always go towards the Hawaiian bowl, with salmon or tuna. Personally, I love salmon, but tuna is good too! Fresh as can be. The eel sauce paired with the plethora of fresh veggies and rice make this a treat that reminisces back to my days on the West Coast(best coast). I am transcended to a beachy landscape, with sea foam spraying over my legs and surfers give off positive vibes. That’s how I wish my days could be, every day. So wavy, dude. But on the real, I say, go try this little restaurant out, it won’t disappoint! Hang ten, my friends.

A colleague suggested this place so we headed in for a quick business lunch. I really enjoyed Fast & Furious. I thought it was going to be a cheesy knockoff of Asian food, based on the restaurant name. I ended up pleasantly surprised. There are a number of pre-packaged options you can choose from. Instead I ordered from the menu and built my own meal. Basically the way build your own meal works is you choose a protein, then you pick rice or noodles, and then a side or two of veggies, etc. True to its name, the food camp out quickly(I mean Fast). Meal portions were pretty good and flavorful. This is a great quick service option for those that want quality Asian fusion cuisine. I wish prices were slightly lower but good overall.

On first impression, I was really impressed by the cleanliness of this location. It’s also super hip and cute! The walls are covered with comic book scenes and there’s Asian pop music bouncing around in your ears. My boyfriend and I were spoiled with some really great poke bowls in California, so we were left craving them when we came back to DFW. Lo and behold, Unilocal led us to Fast and Furious! And like the name states, the employees are friendly and super quick. I would call this place an Asian fusion«fast food» type of location, since it’s super easy to order and take out in less than 7ish minutes. Each of us ordered a bowl because the pictures on the wall made them look awesome. I’m a huge sucker for menu pictures! My boyfriend had the Hawaiian Bowl and I ordered the Chirashi Bowl. I was really impressed by the presentation of the food because it looked identical to the photos that were on the wall(yay!) and also came with extra sauce on the side. Overall, if you’re coming here for poke, I would go with the Hawaiian Bowl. My Chirashi Bowl had a bed of salad mix on the bottom that wasn’t very tasty. I also didn’t like the sauce that came with my bowl, which was a spicy red sauce(can’t remember the name) but I usually see it with Korean rice cakes. However, everything in the bowl was fresh, including the fish. My boyfriend could say the same about his bowl as well. I will definitely be back for the Hawaiian Bowl due to the portion sizes being quite large for the amount that you pay. I need to come back for the other menu items, but if you’re in the mood for poke, I would definitely come for the Hawaiian Bowl.

I really, really wanted to like this restaurant. I fell in love with Japanese food after visiting Japan. It was my first time there and the gal who was taking the order was patient with me. I tried the Furious bowl with noodles and tofu with veggies. I ordered it to go, which was a good thing because I found the food to be bland, even after adding the spicy sauce. I ended up adding Cholula sauce and ketchup(yes, even ketchup) to make the food tastier. Maybe it was on off day for them or even the dish itself. I will maybe give them another chance and try something different(the Hawaiian bowl looks interesting) to see if they can redeem themselves. Otherwise, I give them a resounding MEH. Sad that I have to give a poor rating on my 200th review :(

This is really, really good quality for fast food. I thought it was some gimmicky mall food at first, but you realize they’re really different once you step inside. The décor is awesome, they play hip hop/pop, and their menu is a modern mix of Japanese and Korean. I love getting the chirashi bowl. It’s a LOT for under $ 12. It’s a good mix of sashimi, avocado, sprouts, salad, and rice. That’s a LOT of stuff in one bowl! I normally just like chirashi to be mainly sashimi, but I appreciate this combination a lot — it’s very filling and delicious! Their hibachi style chicken + veggies + rice is also a great combination. They give you SO much! Love coming here for a quick, fulfilling meal.

Let’s just say I think everything on this menu is worth trying. I haven’t tried everything yet, but I’m getting there! Stuffed mushrooms, stuffed jalepenos, oh my! It was so good, it even motivated me to make my own… but I have failed. I also love their Hawaiian bowl with half tuna half salmon and extra spicy mayo and eel sauce. I always get super stuffed after eating that, but it’s worth the pain. You can’t go wrong with an infusion of Korean and Japanese cuisine. This would be my go-to place for fast, «non cheap tasting» Asian food.
