Tuttle-Click Chrysler Jeep Dodge – Service

My review is in regards to the shuttle driver, Vic! He immediately made me feel welcome, opened and closed the door for me. He is very engaging during the ride and cared about his passengers. The last few times I have been to this dealership, the service has been horrible, but he made my visit today much better! Thank you for the ride Vic!!!

I took my Dodge pick up for some over due maintenance issue. Being a female some may think that dealers would take advantage of a customer, but my service I received was outstanding. I encountered James who is the service manager, he was an polite, very helpful, and made my whole experience easy. This was my first visit to Tuttle-​Click Chrysler, and I will definitely be returning here again. James the manager spoke highly of the dealership and they treated me the way a customer should be taken care of. Thank you Tuttle-​Click.

My second visit to the service department here and worse than the first one.
I went in for my oil change, I bought the service agreement with my new car purchase.
When I arrived I had the service tech look at my white seats (that ended up with grease on them at my first visit) he verified they were clean, he promised they would cover them and I wouldn’t have a problem again, he assured me they would also wash my car before I picked it up. Keep in mind with my service package it includes tire rotations, however Irvine doesn’t honor that. I was told when I purchased it that all Chrysler dealers would honor it.
I also asked that they would check my fluids. Of coarse it’s part of the service. I asked that they put new wipers on and told yes for $ 39.00, fine it saved me time.
Picked up my car grease all over the drivers seat, door, center console, they made an attempt to clean it, 40 minutes later they made it worse. The service manager said they could take it in the back and try again. I said I did not want them in my car and they could come by my office today and detail it as they had offered. The service manager, Don said that it was the high traffic area and maybe it had been me that got my 1 year old car seat dirty somehow while they had it. I don’t think he thinks before opening his mouth as he sounds like a fool.
I told him I had an appointment which they already had me late for.
I got to my appointment and decided to look in the engine and see if they checked my fluids.
No they didn’t and when I walked around the front of the car, I see a greasy hand print on the front fender, looks like they didn’t wash the car either, I also have a matching one on the passenger side, there was also oil spilled on the engine. I did end up with one of the two wipers I bought, I guess someone needed the passenger side so they thought I wouldn’t notice that only one was new.
I had also noticed when driving and going to start my map that the mechanic had installed his IPhone so he could enjoy his music so my phone wouldn’t work until I could stop the car and go through the process of setting it up again.
They do not care about the service they provide and where the service manager acts professional, the department is a direct reflection of his inability to run it, obviously the employees don’t respect him or they would take the necessary steps to provide the best customer service. The dealership should be holding the employee accountable for this type
of destruction to customers property, stealing parts I bought as well as not checking my fluids.
People need to reports them to Edmunds and any other company that rates them and get their 5 star rating taken away.
I must say I agree with the lack of service and will make the trip to Temecula, they greet you at your car, have a nice waiting room, coffee, tea and cookies they bake fresh there in a little convection oven served hot, they have the loaner cars on site, which are included in the maintenance package, you don’t have to walk across the street carrying what you don’t want stolen. Imagine if Tuttle didn’t have their service reps sitting on their rears, they might be a little more interested in greeting the customers that pay their lazy rears. Without the customers they treat so bad they wouldn’t have their jobs.
The reason they sell is they do make commission on your repairs.
Make the drive and get the service you pay for.

I have had my car in 3 times in a month and a half, its frustrating but these guys are always eager to help and calm me down. They always stay positive, even when I am a basket case. I will never stop coming here. I have been elsewhere and everywhere else makes me want to pull out my hair.
The 4 stars is because I have had to bring my car in 3 times in such a short period of time.

This place is the worst. Looks more like a homeless center in the checkin area. My service rep Rachael was really nice but the other guys walking around don’t seem to be doing anything and are useless. Have a 50k car and besides all the other issues with them I needed to get a battery for my key (car still under warranty) and they felt the need to charge me $ 5 for the battery. Don’t buy from here and don’t get your car serviced here. If you have ever been to a BMW or Mercedes dealer you will know the difference yet my car from Jeep costs as much as many top of the line cars from other dealers. Told my car would be done the same day and then told next morning by 10 for sure. Call them at 10:30 (after being put to voicemail twice, finally get a real person) and the tell me come in at 12 and I’ll be ready to go. Well guess what, come in at 12:15 and they tell me to go to cashier, can’t find paperwork and now it will be until 12:45 before the car will be ready. Thanks for crappy service, crappy interior space/​waiting area and making me waste so much of my time.

This review is in regards to my previous visit to the Service Center on 4÷21÷2016.
Had a previous issue with my visit to Tuttle Click’s Service Department. Immediately, I was contacted by Don Palmer who is the Service Manager. Don was very understanding when it came to my concerns and did everything to correct where they went wrong. As of today, all my issues have been resolved and I am more than happy with the service I received from Don at Tuttle Click.

Well I can’t even comment on the service because I didn’t make it that far. I tried calling for 2 days and no one answered the phone. I also left a voicemail and no one returned my call. I tried calling again for the 7^th time today and got ahold of a very pleasant receptionist. She transferred me to the service department and I was promptly hung up on. I called back one more time and the receptionist FINALLY got someone from the service department on the line. I told them that I was looking for a weekend appointment and the guy on the phone was really irritated by that. He kept saying he could do it but that he didn’t want to do it on the weekend. I finally gave up and told him I’d just go to another dealer… save yourself the trouble and just go somewhere else.

Haven’t been to service in a bit, since our last oil change but I have never added a review. We have never had any issues with the service department, nothing like the horror stories people are writing on here. Tuttle Click has been nothing but good to me and my family, each time we visit, we always know we are being taken care of.

This is my 2^nd review and fourth & final visit:
The service department at Tuttle-​Click Irvine Dodge is TERRIBLE! The only reason I gave this location a 4^th chance was because of the close proximity to where I work. Regardless of the distance, I will be moving my service over to Tustin Tuttle-​Click going forward.
#1 issue here is lack of communication from the Service Department. No one greets you when you when you drive up, unlike any other dealer I have been to for service. Not a huge issues, but it doesn’t get any better when walk into the service department after parking your car. When you walk in there are approximately 6 service tech’s sitting at desks facing the door you walk in. Not one of them say «We will be with you in a moment», «Please have a seat» or even a simple «Good Morning». They see you walk in wandering and they do NOTHING. After 3 minutes of waiting, I finally asked one service tech (who had her back turned to the entry door and personally chatting with another service tech) what I needed to do to check in. Finally I was asked to have a seat so she could check me in.
#2 I waited for the shuttle for an entire hour. Never before has this happened with any dealer. I communicated to the service tech that I had been waiting for 45 min so far, and asked her how much longer she expected the wait to be. She said she would call the driver and check and get back to me. She never got back to me, so after another 15 min, I went and checked with her AGAIN. At which point she said the driver would be at least another 15 – 20 min. I was so frustrated with the lack of communication and now late to work, so I took an Über.
#3 When I arrived to pickup my car, the cashier said to wait outside for the porter and give him my paperwork. So I waited, and waited, and waited… finally someone came out and asked if I had been helped yet.
#4 I called my service tech midday to get a report on my car and asked to make sure that they please do the courtesy wash on my car (it’s still free but you have to ask due to water restrictions). When the porter pulled up with my car, it was not washed. I’m so tired of waiting at this point so I leave. The least this experience could have given me was a clean car, especially with the amount of money spent on this visit.
It’s a shame they haven’t improved their customer service the slightest bit since I bought my car there 1-​year and 1-​month ago. I highly suggest staying clear of Tuttle-​Click Irvine Dodge for service.
I do not wish to be contacted by this location to make it right so that I will return. Improve upon your service department staff and teach them how to be courteous and communicate with future customers so your customers are not confused by each experience.

I just purchased a new Challenger RT Scat Pack. My sales rep was Abdul. I gotta say, this was a very pleasant buying experience.
First off, I was speaking with several dealers and simply asked them all for their best offer. I knew what I should pay and was willing to pay.
Abdul not only provided me their best price but did not try convince me to come in and sit down. He was also on top of everything even including coming in on his day off to finalize the sale.
Keith was the next guy I spoke with in financing. Keith was also a real pleasure to work with. He even worked on getting me a better rate after all was said and done.
I would recommend these guys to anybody who wants a Challenger and more specifically I would recommend asking for Abdul from the beginning.

My brother and I recently went in there looking for Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that was listed on their website to purchase. Known that being a first time buyer usually gets high interest rates and doesn’t get the best approvals we still went in there with high hopes.
Keith helped us out and worked extra hard to get my brother into the car that he wanted. I’ve been to different dealerships and have never received the attention and dedication that these guys gave me. I am beyond grateful with the service we received from the guys at Tuttle Click Jeep and will be referring all my family and friends over to them.

WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE REALLY IS THE WORST.
Service Manager, Don Palmer really needs help seeing the problem (s) with his rude staff.
Apparently he is OK with 1 or 2 star ratings… WOW, IMAGINE THAT…
WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR GREETER? From the minute I walked in and waited for 5 – 7 minutes before I finally asked for help myself, until I drove away…(without a comp. car wash). I can honestly say the service here today was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! After being a loyal customer here for the past 16 years, i have never seen or experienced the rudeness and unfriendly, unorganized, unmotivated staff like this ever before. Everyone, from management, service reps and sales people are lacking customer service skills!
I was told the wait for my Jeep would be approx. 2+ hours and then almost 6 hours later I left there SOOO disappointed and WILL NEVER RETURN, no matter how many discounts they offer me… money is not the point… TRUST IN THE SERVICE THEY ARE PROVIDING for the customer’s well-​being is what is needed here!!!

I’ve always believed the secret to a great experience is knowing your way around a place. So here it is… when you drive up the service lane at Tuttle Click, you’ll want to stop and chat with Michael the greeter first. (He’s guaranteed to make your day with his wonderful attitude and is a great friend to make!) Next is coffee or donuts on the way in, then ask for James Moore in the service department. Take a seat, chat, drop off your car, and go on your merry way. Piece of cake! Golden rule in life — if you treat the person helping you with at least some level of respect, they’ll probably do their very best to help you in your situation! *Wink wink*

My aunt came here, this is her review: Went to get my car serviced a couple days ago. I was helped right away by James. He was very helpful and professional. Overall the customer service was great. I’ll definitely come back.

I came in with my daughter to buy her a car — David was the first person we encountered, and he was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with.
He went above and beyond the call of duty, and I will definitely be sending people his way. Anyone who is that attentive and not smothering deserves all the business sent his way.
This is from someone who detests shopping for cars as well.

Went back to Tuttle click jeep and dodge in Irvine after a bad experience with the San Juan Capistrano I was lied to buy the service manager Rick Berry,
Service manager and Tuttle click in Irvine, Don Palmer was very professional but he did not solve my problem, three attempts to fix my door handle disaster failure I’m amazed how a big dealership like this could not fix the door handle my last result I’m going to private body shop and that’s the end of it, after all this experience with both dealership in San Juan and Irvine I do not like any dealerships and I don’t trust them anymore I’m done, my advice to you go to private shops if you’re not covered by the warranty.

I came in looking for a particular vehicle at a particular price point-​and I found it! David was extremely helpful and not overbearing whatsoever. Honestly, I was about ready to call it quits after a week of hunting for the right car.
Within an hour David had worked out which vehicles met my criteria and I am happy to say that I will definitely be sending anyone I can to him!
A+ customer service!

SO, I wound up coming here due to my wife’s purchase of a 2012 Jeep Liberty — Jet edition.
I don’t like the service staff. They are not customer focused, and at one point tried to convince me that not getting work done on MY Jeep there would be better, because it would overwhelm their ONE tech they had working on «heavy Mech» stuff. I needed them to check out a shudder in my xmission. They said it would be weeks before a spot opened up.
There is no sense of urgency. None. Just drop it off, and «hey…when it’s done, it will be done. Don’t come ask about it, because it’s obviously not done.» Terrible attitude towards customer satisfaction.
When I DID actually get work done, the kid who brought it up walked so slowly to the car to bring it out.(it was after 5:00pm after all), I thought he was joking. Then he got out, left the keys in it, running, and just turned and walked away. Nothing. No, «Any questions?»…nothing.
I cannot give this a one star and feel good about it. Here’s why:
1. Whatever work we needed was done.
2. It was comparable to others in the area
3. It’s a Jeep, things are just going to break.
Just go back and review the Chrysler Jeep manual for customer interaction. I believe the customer still makes the money come in, right?

Let’s just say you’ll do yourself a favor by not buying, nor visiting, this dealership. I have visited this dealership a few times and with each visit, it just keep getting worse.
Lets start with the Sales Associate. Upon arriving at the dealership, I would browse the lot for a good 30 minutes and not a single soul would inquire if I need help. Ok, maybe they want to give me space and browse on my own. I wonder if that is that case when I noticed two sales guy joking around on the concrete deck no caring for a potential buyer. When I looked back, they were gone. I had to fetch me a sales person. That was a few months back on my first visit.
Second incident. I called here, after I made my vehicle purchase elsewhere of course, to inquire about my vehicles operations function since it was the closes dealer to my home. The person I was talking to said the stop/​go function is a new feature to my car and has little knowledge on how it works. And these guys are selling cars with them??? I called to my original dealer and got my answers within a few minutes. At least there made use of their resources to find out.
Third run in with this place. My tire pressure is low all around and I had to get it to the right PSI. I had the nitrofill in my tires. Upon parking my car in the service area, no one came to greet and help. I walked inside and saw 5 employees behind the counter doing their own thing. I asked one of the guy but said he’s going on his lunch so he can’t help me. At lease find someone that can? So I waited for the one guy to finish with his customer. I took a seat. Twenty three minutes later, yes I keep track, another customer walks by and waited by the counter. Then another customer lined up behind her. Lady closer to the counter gets helped. I didn’t get mad nor annoyed. At least the lady later found out and apologized before she went her way. I felt sorry for this dealership. I finally got help by a service advisor who was rendered useless upon my request to top of my tires. He said it was going to cost me. He also showed me some flash updates that needed to be done and was going to charge me as well. The fact that he didn’t know if the machine that pumps the tires works or not gave me trust issues with this guy and dealership. How can you tell if the machine is working or not? Turn it on and try it. He had to check three times to see if it works or not. Three times. This guy was so hesitant to even put in a work order. Reason why, no idea. When he tried to do so, it seems like he never done a work order before. Finally, he said, «We can try to pump the tires but not sure if our machine works or not. We can take care of the other items. But not sure if we can pump the tires. I’ll have to figure out a cost.» A cost to top of nitrofill air. I called my original dealership to get information and they said any Jeep dealership should be able to top of the air with no charge. Service guy said the dealerships don’t honor warranty from other Jeep dealership. Way to throw your own company under the bus there. Besides, its air we are talking about.
Had a friend that was looking to buy a Rubicon and was going to meet me here to check one out before we got lunch. I made sure he visits the Huntington Beach or Courtesy dealership. I will be sure that none of my friends, family or coworker set foot at this place. I checked in and got a free expresso drink. Don’t even want to know if their coffee is anywhere palatable.
***Shoppers and service customers beware. This place will not provide you with the service or sales expirience to your expectations.

Here 30mins before they open, let’s see how long this will be. The last time I was here for an oil change, the gentleman said it would be about 2hrs. The free WIFI helps! Thankfully they were quick. I was out in about 40mims.
Well not quick this time its been a bit over 2 hrs
now …I feel like the maintenance package is a total waste. Any other oil change place takes 30mins or less, why should it take 2hrs +??? They should just have a group of guys changing oil only.
