History

Established in 2013.

TechRevive was founded by Ryan Barrios with $ 100 and a one bedroom apartment that served as his first office. The company originally went by the name «TechMedix.»

Ryan always had a knack for computers and often found himself called upon by friends and family to help with their technology frustrations and fixes. As a kid, Ryan would take apart and reassemble used PCs that his Dad would only buy for him if Ryan promised to wash the car. Through the experience of taking apart computers and putting them back together again, Ryan learned about computer systems and how they work. By washing the car in return for the used computers his Dad would pay for, Ryan discovered that learning and success wasn’t something that came easy.

Like any start-​up, building an initial client base was not an easy task. The company’s first marketing campaign involved Ryan hanging 8.5″ x 11″ advertisements with tear-​off phone number tabs around his neighborhood offering discounted compute
