Nooshin Ghayoumi DDS

I can’t say enough about Dr. Ghayoumi! I had been avoiding having periodontal work done for some time. Once introduced to Dr. Ghayoumi my anxiety instantly vanished. She was so knowledgeable and sincere about my procedure that it left me wishing I had met her sooner. What I thought to be an uncomfortable procedure actually wasn’t a problem at all. What a difference she has made not only in repairing my gums but in my entire dental experience. Highly recommended.

I started seeing Dr. Ghayoumi a little over a year ago. With all of my dental issues, I was always afraid of dentists and they always called in a specialist to give me a second opinion. I stopped seeing a dentist for a couple of years because I always felt they gave me bad news. I looked up Dr. Ghayoumi on Unilocal and decided to see a specialist on my own. She is very caring, gives the best options and I have never felt afraid of what she was going to say about my mouth. My oral health so much better than when I first started seeing her. I have had a deep cleaning, two bone grafts and just recently a gum graft. I know I am in very good hands and highly recommend her to everyone. I had a bone loss in my front lower two teeth and my dentist told me that he needs to extract both front teeth. I as a patient asked him to consult with a fellow dentist who was also working at the same clinic. Both doctors recommended the extraction of the two teeth. I refused to accept their recommendation. I was then referred to a periodontics clinic, There I got the same answer. I decided to go to another periodontics clinic, and was again given the same answer, to extract both teeth because of severe bone loss. Luckily my sister had seen Dr. Nooshin and highly recommended her. Dr. Nooshin treated me with gum surgery and bone graphy. Three months later after my follow-​up, both front teeth were not moving. Dr. Nooshin saved both of my front teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Nooshin for periodontic diseases, because 2 other periodontics doctors could not save my teeth, yet she did.

I came to Dr. Ghayoumi for an extraction and the procedure was as pain free and seamless as possible. Also, she gave me a great price that was much lower than other quotes I received. She even came to the office on Saturday just to see me since I couldn’t go midweek. Highly recommended!

I was referred to Dr. Nooshin Ghayoumi to repair the damage that I had done to my gums after 25 years of smokeless tobacco use on a daily basis. Dr. Ghayoumi explained in detail the gum graph process and procedure. She never hesitated to answerer any of my questions regarding the procedure or care following the surgery. In this day and age, when is the last time you had a Doctor take the time to personally call you at home to make sure you were doing okay and to see if you had any questions or concerns. Dr. Nooshin Ghayoumi is one of the most professional and caring dentist (periodontist) I have ever been to. Doctor Nooshin Ghayoumi is truly amazing. Her specialty is periodontics (treatment of damage due to gum disease) and implants. As
I am getting older and my gums are recedin I had to go to her when I needed a second opinion about some bad advice I had been
given.
It is possible when at a medical health care professional to get unneeded treatment. While this is wrong, it still can happen. My
experience is that the soluton to this is to deal with people that are highly competent and highly ethical. Dr. Ghayoumi falls in this
category.
She received her DDS degree in 1992 and attended an extensive three year program at the University of Southern California. She has
performed thousands of implant surgeries. I am very particular about anyone that operates on my body and refused to consider implants
before consulting Dr. Ghayoumi. She has published several publications in referreed publications and was at one time a clinical
assistant professor at USC. Although implants have become an established procedure she is someone that can really be trusted and
I recommend her most highly.
The implant procedure does not take a long time or involve too much pain. I recommend that you follow all her directives with
care including using ice on the operated areas.
Her staff are well picked, competent and friendly. She accepts all major insurances and can work with people without insurance. If
you are considering an implant I consider you have the full work done by consulting with her. She can also handle all kinds of
situations including people without insurance. You can tell that she knows what she is doing.
My experience is that Dr. Ghayoumi is rigorously honest. Patients can trust her entirely.
