Just had my first eye exam with Dr Michael Spitzer and was extremely happy with the visit!
I had a 3 pm appointment and parking was easy and very close, I was seen exactly at 3:00 pm !! Staff and office were very nice. Dr. Spitzer was friendly, informative and thorough.
I would and have already recommended his office to several friends !!

Dr. Spitzer is a great optometrist who thoroughly explained all of the tests we did, what corrections I needed to make and what I could do to help keep my eyes strong for years to come.
When came time to pick out lenses, he was not pushy, and his admin was more than helpful in finding something that framed my face well. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a new Optometrist.

I have a great experience whenever I go to visit Dr. Spitzer. I was referred by my brother. It is so important to get your eyes checked even though you might have good sight and it is important to have a good doctor. Thorough exam, as always. My family has been seeing Dr Spitzer for years and appreciate the time he gives us and the corrections he makes to our eyesights! Also appreciate his help in picking out frames. Competent and caring team in his office!

I’m new to the eye-​doctor thing but I’ve been to Dr. Spitzer twice (once a year ago and once earlier this week). I’ve had no issues with him and he seems to be up front with everything. The only thing I wish he would do would be hand me a prescription so I can shop elsewhere for glasses. That’s probably where he makes the majority of his money, so I can’t really fault him for trying to keep everyone in-​house with those purchases. Everything else seems great.

Dr Spitzer is a terrific optometrist. He’s been my eye doc for several years. He’s been very clear and up front about my options and costs, and even provided a few adjustments as a courtesy at no cost.

The Doctor is very flirty and does not have a professional code of conduct. He kept saying «guess what» with a big pat on the thigh and came way too close my face to whisper or adjust those tools for the exam! Half an hour of that conversation was such a bad experience! I had a real tough time dealing with his ill manners and couldn’t wait to just step out of this place! Never coming back.
The collection of glasses looked cheap quality-​highly priced and not too much variety on the branded ones was available. Big Disappointment!

Dr. Spitzer is a very friendly and professional doctor. My last appointment was awesome. I got in same-​day due to a cancellation, had a friendly conversation with the receptionist and the doctor. Went through the tests and found my vision was improving in one eye. The Doctor is very thorough and can even tell your Cholesterol by looking at the capillaries in your eyes. Very happy with both Glasses and Contacts.

Why was i seeing a new optometrist? I was with Lenscrafter prior, and it took 5 different optometrists to figure why i was uncomfortable wearing contact lens. Finally, the optometrist told me that i was not a good candidate for contact lens, and i should wait for several months to try them again. Well, that sucks!!! I wanted to wear contact lens so i can play sports, drive at night without getting splitting headaches, and go watch 3D movies comfortably. Not having to wear my glasses plus the 3d glasses over it. So i gave up and decided to find a new optometrist. I found Dr. Spitzer after my Finace recommended me.
Had my first optometry appointment with Dr. Spitzer yesterday. I walked into the office, and was greeted by the front desk receptionist. She was very friendly. I handed her my completed new patient forms. She told me to have a seat. Sat down, and started looking at the office. Very nice set-​up and clean!!! 5 minutes later, I was greeted by Dr. Spitzer. He walked me back to a small room, where he asked me to lean into this machine to determine my visions. No puff, no air, nothing, it was painless and effortless. He then took me into another room where he started telling me about my vision. I have a baby prescription! He spent over over 30 min — talking, smiling, educating, and making me feel comfortable. The best part was that i was sold about what he said. I trusted him because he is definietly passionate, knowledgable, and understanding. I mean, Dr. Spitzer is well-​informed and in-​tuned to the optomtery world!
I had questions, he has answered. He told me some interesting facts about my eyes. First, he told me that i am unique to have 2 birth marks — one in each eyeball. WOW!!! really?!? and secondly, that my eyes are flatter then most people thereby, i needed wider contact lens so my eyes can be comfortable while wearing it. Awesome to know!!! He is very nice. He would even put my contact lens into both eyes. (Well, Lenscrafter has never done it for me). I walked out feeling as if i have found «the optometrist!» I am on a 5 day trial with the contact lens he prescribed to me. So far, I feel very comfortable with the contact lens, and the majority of the time wearing it… I have forgotten i had the on! WOOOOHOOOO!!! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is seeking for an optometrist!

I have been going to Dr. Spitzer for approximately 7 years and am very happy with him and his staff. Most doctors are very stingy with their time and let me just say Dr. Spitzer is not at all. I have family members who are doctors and Dr. Spitzer gives me more time than they give me. I always leave Dr. Spitzer’s office feeling good and educated. I recently had lasik and Dr. Spitzer came and sat through the procedure with me and I really felt that was such a special touch since I have never heard of anyone else doing that before. I recommend Dr. Spitzer and think of him in the highest regards.

I had a great experience in Dr. Spitzers office. From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcomed and at home. I have been seeing Dr Spitzer for 10 years and have had nothing but outstanding service. I wear contact lenses and glasses, he has prefected my prescription which no other Dr. has been able to do. I have nothing but praise for this Dr. and his office staff.

I used to go here. I bought two sets of glasses and when one of the nose pads came off (about a month later) I brought the pair back and they charged me $ 5.00 for the repair. I was shocked as I spent over $ 1500 in glasses and exams over the past year. I have never returned. I have now come to find out that it appears that the coatings I paid for on my glass from this person (I will not call hme Dr.) appears to have never been put on causing my lens to break down. You have been warned.

If you ever need anything, just go to Costco. The girl in the glasses section adjusted my glasses perfectly!
