This place sucks I told her my nails are not clean she said oh you need to take a shower what’s up with that?! And I’m like if I don’t take share it won’t go away she goes don’t worry seriously I have never heard this before lol!

Was not expecting much when I saw the rating but the really surprised me by their service. I think this place is really underrated, not sure why the bad reviews, so glad I followed my friend here today. Everything went so smooth and perfect. We called ahead of time and did not have to wait when we got there. Everyone is so nice and professional. The tech who took care of me was very easy to communicate with as I did not have any problem explaining my confusing requests. She took her time to make sure all the tiny detail were taken care of and was very gentle. Price is super competitive comparing the quality of products they use and service they provide. Totally a place you can trust in the area. Highly recommended !!

$ 35 for a deluxe pedicure with the works! I love the consistency and attention to detail. From asking if the water is warm enough, to the hot towels before my mineral scrub they do a good job, and for a reasonable price.
Natalie always does an outstanding job on my gel mani. If a color is less milky or light she will add the extra third coat and takes her time. To me that’s important.
They recently implemented a rewards program which is nice for us returning customers to save an extra $ down the road. Their prices are fare and they offer a great variety of OPI colors for gel. I used to go to the location within UCI’s student center next to Cha for Tea. They are no longer in that location hence why I’m reviewing this one.
I’ve only been here for their nail services and I always leave happy and satisfied. I cannot provide a review for their waxing and massage treatments :)

I was looking for a new nail salon being new to the area I need to find a regular spot so I decided to check this place out its only a few miles from my house. The girls are nice enough and it’s pretty clean but I’m not happy. I spent $ 90 here and my gel started peeling that day and my nail broke off the next day. I got gel on my acrylics and gel on my toes and my nails were done so thin I noticed my middle finger was already cracked at the middle where she put my tip on and while doing my pedicure they made me bleed I don’t think I’ll be back.

Worst nail salon, very rude manager who is a man began to yell at me because my nails did not come out the way I wanted and he cut my nails off and told me to get out. DO NOT GO or get the man to do your nails

This place was super clean. Everything was organized and their services were excellent. I just came her to change my nails color. Honestly I didn’t have any idea what color I wanted. They made a perfect suggestion for me. I really loved my nails when they came out. Definitely I will be back again.

I love this place! There’s a lot of seats plus it looks very clean in here! The massage chairs are comfortable and they actually work really well!!!
I chose the Xtreme pedicure (which includes 60 min) which includes an aroma bubble bath, callus treatment, sea salt/​mineral sugar exfoliation, masque, soothing massage and hot stone massage (25 min) soothing sorbet hydrating gel!
Julie was amazing! She’s super nice and she recognized me from last time and I came 2 months ago! Although my hair is silver… it was nice that she recognized me and said hi! I enjoy talking to her! She’s very friendly. I’ve had her twice and she’s been amazing both times. She doesn’t skimp out on the massages! The whole pedicure took an hour long. It’s really worth the $ 45! I’ve never seen a better deal.
It can get busy here so if recommend calling for a reservation first!

Disappointed. Never spoke to me, not one word except to ask about design and pay bill. Did horrible job on my painting for pedicure, not even, splotchy. Tried a new place… will go back to my regular. Not worth the $ 30!

Update as my gel manicure only last 3 days before it started to peel off at the corners. O spent $ 65 with tip and I’m so disappointed as I was hoping to keep it for at least a couple of weeks (which is typically how long it lasts). Oh well… I’ll try a new place next time.

I go to this place regularly because it’s close to my house. I also really like Tammy’s work on my nails… She’s been doing my nails for over 5 years on and off. I highly recommend her (although I probably shouldn’t say that coz she gets very busy). I always make an appointment coz it just makes things easier and I don’t have to wait.
The place itself is clean, I’m very picky about that. The spa chairs aren’t «the latest & greatest» but I can’t complain. I am more concerned about the quality of their work & cleanliness of the place. One thing they can improve on is when they do the massage that comes with the manicure/​gel & deluxe pedicure. The massage is more like just rubbing the lotion on my arms & legs back n forth. It’s not really a massage… That’s why I took a star off.
The women who work there all seem very pleasant, they all smile at me when I walk in. A lot of times when it’s not busy the workers seem bored. The owner/​manager is very business like but he’s friendly enough.
I prefer to bring my own nail polish so the manager just tried to find the best match for the gel. They usually have it. I also bring my own lotion coz I’ve gotten itchy from the pink one they used on me once. So I figure better safe than sorry.
I think some customers may have had a negative experience from the language barrier with a lot of the workers. There could be miscommunication… I try to watch what they’re doing and tell them exactly how I like my mani-​gel/​pedi done. Overall I would say it’s a good place to go, not phenomenal but above average.
Ask for Tammy if you can. :)

i came here twice before, and their work is ok, but not excellent, the thing that made me write this review is that one of the employees was cleaning here toe nails with the tools that they use for customers, and then put it back in the box without sterilizing them, she just wiped it with the same towel thats on the table thats suppose to be clean for customers to put their hands on. i was so grossed out and didn’t want to talk to them, i just left. They probably do it all the time. disgusting.

My girl friend and I were searching on Unilocal for a decent place to do our pedicures. I saw one review for this place and it said it was ok. I saw the pictures of the spa pedicure and I wanted to try this one — so we went for it. But when I came to the salon, they had old chairs — not the one that was pictured here. I really needed a pedicure so the discrepancy didn’t stop me.
Appointment: I was able to walk in and make an appointment for 45 min later because my girl friend and wanted some lunch. Appointment booking was easy and they smiled while putting us down.
Color Choices: They have OPI, Le Chat, and some other brands I wasn’t familiar with. Their OPI color choices are not that great. It took me about 10 minutes to choose one. They sell other colors for retail. I guess the ones they sell are from the new collection and what they have for you to choose from is from the old collection. My advice — bring your own color.
Spa Experience: I sprung for the Deluxe Pedicure which is $ 30 and I wanted Paraffin add on $ 7. They said ‘yes’ with everything, but then during the service, the technician told me they didn’t have it anymore. Ok, whatever, deluxe is fine with me.
Spa Chair: I’m very prissy about my spa chairs. I did not like this one at all for the following reasons. 1) The massage was a vibrating massage. There are newer spa chairs with rollers and even shiatsu massages. 2) There were two different remotes — one for massage and one for incline/​recline/​seat adjustments. Confusing. 3) There was no purse hook, so I had to put my purse on the armrest covering one of the remotes. When the technician wanted to adjust my seat, she had to reach up, I had to lift up my purse, and then she was able to adjust. Imagine if I had gotten my manicure with the pedi — that would have been a disaster. 4) No feature to help with lifting my leg. When they lifted my leg to massage and to sand down my heel, they had to lift it themselves. I didn’t want to make their job harder so I had to strain to keep my leg up for them too. There are spa chairs out there that you can rest your calf on and the technician has full access to your heel and leg for massage and sanding. 5) The headrest looked like it was adjustable, but I couldn’t adjust it. It was pulled forward and I wanted it to be flat so I can rest my head. I was sitting with my head cocked forward the whole time. The Only feature I liked about the spa chair was the whirlpool jets. There were two that pointed toward my toes and massaged my little toes.
Technician: She was very nice but didn’t speak English that well. She was pleasant, gentle, and did her job. I’m satisfied with the service level. The one thing that impressed me the most was that she took it upon herself to politely refer a different color after she applied the first coat of polish on one toe. She didn’t think it looked good so asked if I wanted another. I wasn’t really paying attention to the color at the time because I was busy talking to my girl friend. I’m glad she asked because the color she recommended to me was a better shade for my skin tone. I only wish she would have introduced herself and told me her name.
Environment: Overall nice and peaceful environment. There was none of the stereotypical loud gossip that you hear of in Vietnamese nail salons. The technicians certainly didn’t pry as much in the personal lives of their clients. Except when my husband came in, both the technicians looked at him and then asked me if he was a famous soccer player. Nope, he wasn’t. They said he looked very familiar and they probably saw him on TV somewhere. Well, yes, they probably did because he was a judge on a Vietnamese broadcast Dance Competition, but I didn’t let them know that. I did like the ambiance and service there.
Improvements: I would probably ask for a better selection of nail polishes, but then again, I could just bring my own. I would also like to see them upgrade their spa chairs. The one that’s pictured in this thread was not it. The one pictured is actually a Lexor, Inc. pedicure spa chair and I know they have great features for comfort for the clients sitting in the chair. Example: purse hook, 1 remote for massage and seat adjustments, shiatsu massage, and the one pictured has a calf support.

Worst pedicure ever! The lady cut the sides of my big toe nail all the way down to the base. As my toe started to bleed, she apologized but then she proceeded to do the same thing on the other side! I seriously could not wear closed shoes for weeks! DO NOT GO HERE!

I had an hour before I had to work so I decided to come here. I read that they had a happy hour special on their sign in the front. I asked about it and the man that works there rudely snapped that it was only from monday to thursday or something. I haven’t gotten my nails done in forever so I just decided to suck it up. I tell the man I want a mani and he waves his hand like he was dismissing me and tells me to choose a color. So RUDE! Ugh! I take awhile and examen all the colors they had available and all of them looked extremely thinned out and old. I changed my mind a few times before I decide on a dark blue. So i sit down, the lady cleans my nails, and cuts off my cuticles, I was nervous but I didn’t up bleeding. So after she finishes my cuticles she asks me if I can pay. I was like wtf? In all the times I have gotten my nails done, I have never been asked to pay before the job was done. I was going to to say no but again, I decided to be nice and let it go. So I give her my card. I am mildly irritated at this point and am starting to regret ever coming here at all. Anyway, she starts to paint my nails, the nail polish is apparently too thick and she put a few drops of thinner in the bottle. Lint got on one of my nails, she picks it off, but messes up my nail. She fixes it, but then I notice lint on my other finger. Ugh. They seriously need to get new nail polish. After she puts the top coat on she tells me that it only takes two minutes to dry. So I just sit there and wait for it to dry. I give her a tip bit I know my nails are still not completely dry so I wait there a bit, but she shoos me away! It wasn’t even busy! There was seriously 4 people in the nail salon and no one was waiting to get anything done. She did a mediocre job, I could’ve done a way better job doing it myself.
Also, the manicure only lasted me 3 DAYS before a whole nail completely comes off! Biggest waste of $ 13 in my life.
Don’t go here, and if you do, bring your own nail polish.

I went to this place for the first time because it is very close to my apt. When I checked in here I didn’t find any review, so I guess I’m the first reviewing.
The place is nice and looks clean. It was Sunday and they have 4 employees working, I waited almost 30 min. but it was worth it.
I had the SPA pedi with Callus treatment and a manicure. Julie did my pedi, she was awesome, my hill was/​is so soft after, I love it.
My manicure did another girl, that I don’t know her name, they were friendly but as many Asians they don’t talk so much.
I saw that they cleaned everything before started working on me.
I will come back :)

I have been to many local nail salons in Irvine and i decided to pop in here because i was near this location and was short on time. The ladies who did my mani and pedi were very sweet and worked well. however the man who gives orders and handles the incoming customers. had to be one of the rudest people i have ever met. i asked for waxing and he yelled in his native language that they didn’t have time. He clearly was unaware of how to treat his employees and also his customers. 6 of my nails chipped that same day. i think that there polish was old and needs an update. i still tipped the two ladies well because i felt bad for them. but i would never recommend this place to a friend or to anyone else for that matter.

I’ve been here a few times and unlike most of the people who have reviewed, I have never been cut and/​or bled from being here.
The prices for services are somewhat pricey. However, considering the location of it (Irvine), that is to be expected. The location is always clean.
The only thing that I would say is lacking is their pedicure spa chairs. I have been other places where the chairs REALLY massage you and theirs are a bit low level.
With that said though, on the positive side, there is a manicurist there named «Yvette». She is my favorite. She is really nice, attentive, and helps you relax. She does AMAZING massages as part of the manicure and if you pay extra for the massaging, she really puts in work.
I live right across the street and do not like getting my nails done on the weekends, because places are always too busy and noisy. This place has accommodated me and as long as I make an appointment, they will keep a slot open for me at 6:40pm during the weekday (when they are scheduled to close at 7, but will stay over).
Overall, I’ve have good experiences here.

I grew up living right around the corner from this nail place. They are very nice and attentive. I arrived to get a pedicure with my dad and daughter on a saturday and there was no wait. So i’m not sure why it was so slow. But I think these days nail places have really jipped people for their pedicures. You have to pay an extra $ 5 to get your callus removed from your feet, when that is exactly why i went in the first place. I thought that’s what they did in a pedicure. If i wanted any less i would just get a polish change or do it myself. So i paid $ 22 To get my feet soaked and cut and polished and an extra $ 5 to remove the callus so my total was $ 27 plus tip. I think i would rather use that money and go to spa that takes an hour to give me a nice relaxing pedicure with lots more massage. The ladies are friendly here but not worth the cost.

When three girls go here to get their hands and feet done… and ALL three girls leave with cuts on BOTH their HANDS and BOTH their feet… that’s not a good sign.
Hella painful.
And lots of blood everywhere.
Like a B horror movie.
