I called today to make an apointment and the first one available is at the begining of Feb 2016 !!! Really

Just called billing number on the statement I received. My insurance needed more information and so I asked the staff (sounded younger and just exhausting) if she would be able to provide this. A brief sigh received, «What exactly do they need?»
I commented that they need to know what procedure was done. «What is your date of birth?». Provided this to her. «What is your name». I started getting irritated with her tone of voice so I raised it and answered. «Where do you want this sent». I immediately said to me. She said, «What’s the address?»… I responded with don’t you have it in your system and yes my tone of voice was clear that I was annoyed. She commented that she needed me to verify. I’m fine with that but seriously the girls tone of voice gave the sense of annoyance. There is an older woman super friendly who typically works at the front desk. She’s answered the phone many times when I called in and is always super welcoming and pleasant.
Dr. Lander — the front staff is what makes people either come or leave. There are many good dermatologists in Irvine. I rather choose one I can go to where I don’t have to deal with inconsiderate staff members! Be warned with making sure your staff learns the importance of phone etiquette. I made sure she knew I wasn’t happy with her attitude and she disagreed, which is fine.

I couldnt thank Dr. Lander enough! I went in to see him for my extremely painful cystic acne and at the end of my accutane treatment I’ve been blessed! My skin has never been better! I’ve been off accutane (zennatane) for 7 months now and was on it for about 7 months. At first he gave me all of my options, informed me all about each procedure (pros & con’s) and reccomended which procedure would be best, still keeping my favor in mind of what I wanted. Instead of making me try everything else first he gave me the info and I decided what would be best for me. I’m glad he was very helpful and a nice man. I moved 3 hours away but still willing to drive that far to see him for future procedures.

Dr. Lander is awesome! I went in for a spot on my face just to check it out and it ended up being a little suspicious. After a quick and painless biopsy and finding I would need to have surgery to remove more of the area, Dr. Lander personally called me to tell me the results and stayed in the office after hours to go over treatment options with my husband and I. I fully trust him to perform my upcoming procedure and will continue to see him in the future.

Horrible, they have no empathy… I have really bad eczema and I mentioned to the receptionist (I’m assuming) the amount of pain I was in and if she could help at all with an appointment or anything… well she simply said sorry look for another doctor «in your network» we can’t help you until January… this witch def needs to find a job at the DMV she would fit in perfectly!

I had swollen face and eyes for 3 days so I had to see dermatologist as soon as possible. They did their best to accommodate me in the early morning at 8. I forgot her name but the staff was really kind and Dr. Globerman, Dr. Lander as well. Thank you very much. I feel wonderful now!

I have visited Dr. Lander a few times now. I previously visited Dr. Globerman who is also good however I received such a cool vibe from Dr. Lander. I feel as if I was with a family member. He is so caring, smart, patient, and really takes his time with me. He explains everything in detail and makes sure all of my questions are answered before he leaves the room. I was so happy with his bedside manner as well. I took my little brother to see him for a growth on his face. Dr. Lander removed what was a cyst with such precision. His scar is minimal and again Dr. Lander took his time and really spent time explaining everything with us. I would highly recommend anyone to see Dr. Lander, he is the best! I also really like the staff at the office. Katie is always so friendly and squeezes me in for an appointment when she can. Gia is also so sweet and always talks to me before Dr. Lander comes in.

Jeff Lander is a great doctor, I highly recommend him! He’s friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer any questions you may have, with the ability to explain things so that anyone can understand them. I wish more doctors were like him.

Dr. Lander is wonderful. He worked with me to find a solution to my hormonal acne and was very understanding. The wait time at his office was minimal – maybe 10 minutes and that was mostly due to having to fill out paperwork.
His nurses/​physicians assistants are all very friendly and welcoming as well. I highly recommend Dr. Lander for his knowledge, expertise and friendly «bedside manner. »

Well let me start by saying I have great insurance ppo and I have been to the dermatologist numerous times in the past every year, we just moved so I looked for a new one. The Dr. Was fine, whatever even though he did my husband and my visit at the same time, it was weird but again, whatever. While I needed nothing done (thank God) my husband had to have a few spots removed as usual no big deal, well we left the office and then it started, never in my life have I received so many billing statements from his office as well as four, yes four different labs! Here it is eight months later, and we are still receiving new bills, every other week it seems, when we got our year end statement from the insurance company over 12 billing statements from his officeb for one visit, more than all our other dr visits combined. In the future I will be driving the extra mileage back to our old dermatologist who was much more personable and didn’t nickel and dime.

I made an appointment with Dr. Lander for a minor skin rash that didn’t seem to want to go away.
I called and made the appointment for the following week but the next day was called and told it had to be rescheduled due to an office error. Another appointment was made but the next available was another full week out; fortunately this was nothing serious. When I arrived for my appointment I found the office staff to be very nice. My wait time beyond my appointment time was 45 minutes; a bit longer than what I normally expect from a doctor’s office (Return visits confirm that this lengthy wait time is the norm).
Dr. Lander was not rushed when he examined me. He took his time, asked me questions, really listened to my answers and explained in detail what the causes of the rash might be and possible treatments. The medication he prescribed worked quickly and took care of the rash. Little children no longer looked at me in horror and women no longer fainted at the very sight of me.
Overall a good experience.

I went for a consult. I wanted to know my options before anything would be done. Dr. Landers was patient with my questions and gave his honest opinion after examining me.
His team will get estimates of cost based on my specific insurance to layout all my options.
Whether or not I choose to have the procedure, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Lander is absolutely, hands down one of the best Dermatologists that you can go to. He is one of the few locally that perform the Moh’s procedure if you have a skin cancer. He has removed several malignancies on me and performed the Moh’s procedure on one if them. People remark that they would never know that I had surgery on my face. Absolutely no scar or trace of the procedure! Great doctor and great guy!

BEST Dermatologist, EVER!!!
I started seeing him many years ago and now my entire family goes. He is kind, funny and honest.

I’m very happy with our visit to Dr. Lander. My daughter has acne and our primary doctor was never able to treat her properly (not his fault, he is not a dermatologist but due to insurance requirements he had to treat my daughter for 6 months before he could recommend her to a derm). I found Dr. Lander on Unilocal and thought we’d give him a try. By the time I’d made the appointment, my husband was starting a new job and we were without insurance for three months. We paid out of pocket for this appointment and because I paid cash and didn’t have insurance, Dr. Lander only charged me $ 90 for the appointment. He wrote two prescriptions for my daughter AND wrote the prescription for a full year so that we didn’t have to keep coming back to get him to write another! I thought that was awesome!
My daughter ended up being allergic to one of the prescriptions and it made her break out into a full body rash. After I took her to urgent care, I called Dr. Lander’s office, explained what happened and asked if they could recommend another acne treatment. Within an hour they called my pharmacy, had a new prescription filled AND made sure to find something that was relatively inexpensive to fill because of my insurance issues.
The meds are slowly but surly working (Dr. Lander said it could take 4 – 6 months to see true results) and we are very happy with the experience at Dr. Lander’s office.

yeah all my acne went away about 3 days after taking the antibiotics!~ loving it!

I could not be happier with Dr. Lander and his staff. I consulted him about two months ago in regards to what appeared to be a simple freckle on the top of my head. Dr. Lander immediately identified it as ‘suspicious’, and proceeded with a biopsy. The ‘freckle’ turned out to be a potentially life-​threatening malignant melanoma. The surgery removed a fairly large piece from the top of my head. While no one wishes for this, it was indeed life saving, and Dr. Lander was pleasant and straightforward every step of the way. The procedures – both biopsy and surgery – were absolutely painless… and the healing is coming along perfectly. I highly recommend Dr. Lander for any skin-​related needs.

Dr. Landers did my Mohs surgery today and I can tell you he knows his business. He is both enthusiastic and well learned in the Mohs proceedure. He will answer all your questions, concerns and interests about dermatology in clear, easy to understand verbage. In addition he speaks like a regular guy too. He’ll ask you for recommendations about places to visit, eat etc all the while he is working on you. I liked that personal touch in a medical professional. I am permanently changing over to Dr. Landers.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Lander today for some acne spots. I had a very pleasant experience. Dr. Lander took the time to talk to me about my concerns and gave very honest input on the causes and options for treatment. He was clear on what the outcome would be with various medications and treatments, as well as, common side effects. What I appreciated most was that he was not pushy with medication or treatments, in fact, he was honest about whether he thought they would achieve my long term goals or not. I would definitely continue going to Dr. Lander.

I’ve been cursed with oily skin and acne since I was a teenager. I’ve been to more Dermatologists than I can count, most of which I’ve been unhappy with. Today I finally found a Dermatologist that I love!
After having a dry spell of almost 5 years with no acne what-​so-​ever (that’s right NO acne on this girl’s oily and acne prone skin), I finally got my first pimple (s). And not just one pimple, but a massive load of them all across the right side of my chin on my face. It’s just disturbing looking and mostly due to stress.
Finally made an appointment today to have my face checked out and to get much needed medication for it. Appointment was at 10:45am, got there early, but the Doc was running late (typical of doc offices). Got in the room at about 11am. Doctor came in my room 5 minutes later. He answered all my questions, was very knowledgeable and gave me good pointers on skin care. He removed a couple of my cyst like acne bumps (mine tend to get big and red and gross looking). It was quick and pain free. He gave me an oral medication to take to get rid of the other, bigger, nasty looking bumps on my chin. I also have a couple of darker spots on my face due to the sun, so the doctor gave me a couple of tubes of free samples of a cream to rub on them to make them go away. Sweet!
Staff is friendly at this location. Office is clean and well kept up. Only downside is this is a PPO only office. Since I have an HMO, I had to pay out of pocket. Doctor gave me a discount though. Typical first visit is $ 130, I only paid $ 90.
If I could give this office more than 5 stars, I would. First time I’ve been happy with a doctor in a long time!!!
