Specialties
Elizabeth Steinberg, M.D.‘s office emphasizes the medical aspects of Dermatology, however, the office does offer cosmetic services to patients who request such procedures as Botox, Juvederm, Photodynamic Therapy, and Laser.
The office is well-equipped. For example, the office has four exam rooms and a large surgery room.
Generally, as primary insurance only Medicare, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cigna, First Health, Health Net, and United Healthcare PPO insurance are accepted. HMO’s, Covered California PPO (other than Health Net), Medicaid, and Student Insurance (without verified authorization) are not accepted.
Many insurance plans are no longer accepted. New patients should first check with the office to confirm that their insurance is accepted before scheduling appointments, and inform us immediately if an appointment must be cancelled or rescheduled. Failure to do so impedes our ability to see our returning patients on a timely basis.

Meet the Manager
Dave Sharp S.
Manager
I have been associated with Dr. Steinberg for 25 years, and as her office manager for 10 years.
Dr. Steinberg decides the goals she wants to achieve. My position is to set office policies to ensure that those goals are met, and to make certain that all patients are treated equally as to charges, deposits, and the like. Consequently, this is a no nonsense office.
For example, Dr. Steinberg’s principal goal is patient care. Therefore, office policy is that returning patients are given scheduling priority. While the office still accepts new patients, they may experience a delay of a week or more to get an appointment.
Consistently, emergency appointments for new patients are unavailable unless the patient has been referred by another physician or is a close relative of a returning patient. While this has sometimes angered new patients, returning patients often can make appointments convenient to them. Patients unable to get an appointment should contact management directly.
