Business Owner

When I was young my parents had two cameras, one was a Polaroid and the other was a point-​and-​shoot Minolta. The two cameras were like magic to me, the images they took were able to reveal something special everytime.

In middle-​school, I took a photography class that taught me how to shoot and develop film. The line was cast and I swallowed it, bait, hook and sinker. I shot anything and everything, but I loved taking pictures of people.

Fast forward about 20 years, after having a successful IT consulting business for about a decade, I decided that I really wanted to do something that I was passionate about, and Jack Pei Photography was born. Today, my studio is a full-​service photography studio located in Irvine, CA shooting weddings, engagements, portraits and headshots.

Whether I’m shooting for that sultry look of intrigue from a woman or the charm in the stare of a debonair gent, being able to create images that says something is what I’m passionate about.
