We practice Integrative Medicine, a science-based approach to care and wellness that focuses on the uniqueness of each patient rather than seeing her as a collection of symptoms. We look for root causes of illness, and always begin with the safest most natural treatments. Depending upon individual response, we will progress to more aggressive treatments until relief is achieved. Most patient visits are at least 30 minutes long, giving us ample time to comprehensively review the patient’s physical, emotional and spiritual status; answer all questions; discuss treatment options; and arrive at a treatment plan that satisfies the patient’s needs.
History
Established in 1981.
The practice started over 30 years ago as a traditional obstetrics and gynecology office. Over the years, as the needs of our patients grew, we added more and more services until we evolved into a unique type of practice that not only offers primary and specialty medical care, but also acute care and wellness services.
Consequently, our patients avoid that uncomfortable situation in which they see different providers who give them contradictory advice. At IMGI we understand and respect various healing traditions and integrate your care into a single, consistent treatment plan that emphasizes safety and effectiveness above all else.

Dr. Gersh received her bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and her medical degree from USC School of Medicine. She was graduated in the top 5% of her class, receiving the top award from the American Medical Women’s Association, and earning membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Gersh completed an OB/GYN internship and residency at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Los Angeles, where she won the CREOG Award for the top scoring resident each year. The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology granted her diplomate status (board certification) in 1984. Dr. Gersh completed the University of Arizona Medical School’s Fellowship in Integrative Medicine in 2012, under the directorship of Dr. Andrew Weil. She was named a «Physician of Excellence» by the OCMA, together with OC Magazine, for nine of the last ten years. She was named the «Most Valuable Outside Faculty» at USC/Keck School of Medicine, where she is an Assistant Clinical Professor.
