I’ve been going to this office for years for persistence neck pain, back pain, and nerve pinches. Dr. Letts has fixed me every time. I like that they use Tens units and heat before every treatment. The in-​office massage therapist is also a nice touch. Dr. Letts truly cares about your health and I have never felt pushed into more treatment or sales, as another review has said. He accepts my insurance and there has never been any problem with treatment being approved. Many friends see him and we all highly recommend him.

When I make an a appointment, I get in right away. No wait time. love it! I can go during my lunch. I went in due to an auto accident, my car was totaled due to being rear ended on the freeway hitting a wall a few times. I had a slight concussion and I was having neck middle back pain. The whole staff has been wonderful. I had and needed major treatment. I did all three, Chiropractor, massage for 30 minutes, and acupuncture.
I was a skeptic to chiropractors and acupuncture, I never had it done before.
The Chiropractors have done a great job in adjusting in what needed to be adjusted, but it is important to maintain on your own as well and they advise to do certain stretches as well after the treatment. The massages have been wonderful and the acupuncture was helpful for extra relief for mind and body. If you have questions or concerns Rick Letts has been great in meeting what I have needed. He is caring for his patience and also wants to make his practice better. I use to go 3x a week and now I’m going once a month to keep up with maintenance. I’m feeling better, but still recovering, it’s a process.

I just want to start off by saying that if you are looking for one of the best chiropractors in the Irvine, I believe Dr. Rick is the one you want to see.
So where do I begin? I normally don’t write reviews on Unilocal unless the service is really bad or really great. Well Dr. Rick and his staff are on the super duper awesome great side when it comes to businesses. I just recently moved here from NorCal. I was skeptical at first with some of the reviews I read. I decided to come after all. I have to say that the service and treatment I received was excellent. I will defiantly be back for more treatments. Thank you

My nine year old daughter has been getting horrible migraines since she was four years old. About a year ago we started taking her to Dr. Letts for adjustments and the severity and frequency of her migraines has eased up. My daughter is very timid and skeptical of new people, but Dr. Letts won her over right away! His staff is also very friendly and competent.

I’ve been going to a chiropractor since I was 7, same chiropractor for 18 years. Recently I was injured at work, so I have been going to Dr. Letz office for about a month. He and his office staff have been nothing short of amazing. And that’s an understatement. Tracy at the front desk always remembers me, by name and has a smile on her face. I see a massage therapist as part of my treatment and each one has done a wonderful job in working on my problem areas. I’ve been treating with Dr. Myerson and he is so attentive. He came up with a personalized treatment plan, and explained everything I would need to do to get healthy again. He asks how my pain is, and if there is anything he can do to help. And then there is Dr. Letz, he may not be my treating Dr. but he checks in on me, asks how I feel, if my treatment is working, and if there is any he can do to make my visit better. He and Dr. Myerson have been both willing and happy to answer any questions I’ve had, especially with this being workers comp, without making me feel stupid for. I have already decided to continue going to their office after my treatment for my work injury is done. If you are looking for a chiropractor and a staff that really does care about their patients, and gives the best possible treatment… this is the place to go!

My dad is a chiropractor. I know chiropractic care.
I had a reallyy bad stiff neck from poor desk ergonomics and side sleeping. So i needed to see a chiropractor ASAP and daddy-​o is too far to visit in LA.
My first visit I was content. Dr. Letts spent a good amount of time telling me about his practice and him. I felt comfortable. He also said «if theres anything wrong, come tell me. I’ll fix it»
The medical assistant who took my blood pressure didn’t know where anything was and had a really unfriendly attitude. I brushed it off thinking the girl was new.
Then his on-​staff chiropractor came in. So I never was seen by Dr. Letts. Can’t remember the other chiropractors name but… he did an exam and then put this TENS-​like unit on me to relieve the tension in my neck. I then got a free 30 minute massage from their massage therapist. She was very good.
After that, he adjusted me. I said there was still pain there could he adjust it again and he said it was best to do it next visit.
Then Dr. Letts came in for the «sale» or at least that’s what it felt like. His treatment plan included 2x/​week visits for 6 weeks because let’s face it «you’re 26 and your body doesn’t heal the same way it used to». I said «No. I can maybe come in 2x a month» He pushed back a little and I said «no.»
I made an appointment for another visit. On my second visit, the same on-​staff chiropractor treated me and did the TENS-​like unit and then adjusted me. I said I still felt like I needed more adjusting (because hello, my dad is a chiropractor I know my body) and he responded with something dismissive like he’d give me stretching exercises or it takes a few visits to get complete relief.
Up until this point everything was still content. But then, I had a to re-​schedule my next appointment. I left a voicemail notifying them and asking if I could reschedule to sometime on Tuesday or Wed. They called back and left a voicemail telling me they had openings. I didnt call to confirm a new appt but on Tuesday they called me at 5:30pm saying «the doctor is waiting for you, are you coming?» To which just irritated me. I never called back.
Ever since then, they call at least every other week saying «Dr. Letts is CONCERNED and it’s very IMPORTANT he sees you.» Really? What is he concerned about? Not only that, but the call from 1 phone number and if you dont answer they call right back from another and then finally leave a voicemail.
They call so much I’ve blocked them using an app. Please stop calling me Dr. Lett’s office and if you really want your customers to give feedback put out comment cards or do surveys. But don’t expect a patient to outright tell you «sorry everything you do about your practice just really turns me off». That’s why mediums like Unilocal exist and passive information collecting like comment cards and surveys exists.

Dr. Letts and his team of medical professionals are amazing. I have been coming here for years. They have helped me rehab back from multiple sport injuries, and are currently helping me rehab a tear in my minor pectoral. Not only are they great at maintaining your physical health, but they take no short cuts in getting you back to 100%. They use multiple types of treatment from message therapy, ultra sound, laser therapy, electro stimulation, and of course good old adjustments. What I find most helpful is that they explain your treatment, how each step and process works, and how it will eventually help you reach that end goal of being symptom or pain free.
If you need chiropractic care, see Dr. Letts! This practice is family owned and thats the way you will be treated. Dr. Letts truely cares for his patients well being. I trust Dr. Letts and his team and I will continue with his therapy plan, as it always gets me back to performing at my physical best.

I am on my third pregnancy and I have been going to Dr. Letts since before my second pregnancy. During my second pregnancy my OBGYN had me on physical therapy and I also worked with Dr. Letts.
Around 28 weeks this time around, my OBGYN suggested I go back onto PT but in all honesty, from my second pregnancy I felt going to Dr. Letts was more effective. I asked my OBGYN if there was anything else I can do and she said it would be okay to do massage therapy and see Dr. Letts. I am now 39 weeks pregnant and have been getting massage therapy and treatment from Dr. Letts, three to two times a week. It has been so helpful in getting me through this pregnancy, especially since this time around, I have gained more weight and my joints just ache that much more.
I can’t tell you how great it is to be able to lay on my stomach for my hour massage therapy! It takes all the weight off my hips and back, Jesse the therapist in the morning works wonders!!!
Overall, I just love their service and how Dr. Letts really works with you in managing the pain and aches of being pregnant. I struggle at home with my BF because he thinks I’m just complaining too much but Dr. Letts understand your bones and the extra weight and your joints so he can imagine what your going through and he helps you along the way.
For sure, if I am ever pregnant again… I’ll be back in Dr. Letts’ office!

Dr. Letts and his staff are the best. He will give you straight talk and will not make promises that he can not keep. His staff is very helpful and will stay on top of the insurance company to get answers.

Simply stated: Effective, efficient, loyal, productive, progressive, intuitive and logical. All words that apply to Dr. Letts.
He’s a caring professional. He will guide you where you need it. He’ll give you information whether you ask or not to help you decide what’s best based on his knowledge base.
His front office is kind, pleasant and professional.
The CMT’s (Massage Therapists) historically have all been very good when you have the need for them.
Dr. Letts also knows where to send you if he can’t help you. He knows who are the right other doctors to assist you in combination with him or when he’s not able — he will send you the right professional. He knows the legal professionals as well to help guide you in that case.
Put him in your hands — and see what you think, I am certain he will impress.

Been seeing Dr. Letts for about a year after running into dead ends about back pain that has been persistent for the better part of 15 years. Having a strong dislike of taking painkillers and seemingly being directed to different medications by every Doctor I saw, I reached out to a friend who had been in a car accident and was seeing a chiropractor. He praised Dr. Letts and the difference he had made in his recovery.
Over the past year I have seen a marked improvement in the day to day pain, things that used to be pain within 5 minutes I am now able to do an hour or more at a time. The amount of painkillers/​muscle relaxers has diminished to almost none.

If I could give zero stars I would.
I had emailed their office to find out if they offer free consultations. They said. My husband and I went in for the consult. At first, we thought he seemed nice, but like any dishonest salesman, they know how to be nice to reel you in.
I booked an appointment to come back in a couple of days for my initial treatment. The adjustment was basic, traditional manipulation of neck and spine. He asked me to come back in a couple of days so he can check to see if my adjustment held. On that next visit, he put a moist heat pad on me which felt great. Then gave me another adjustment.
All seemed well until I received my EOB showing they billed my insurance for the «free consultation» and also billed for electric muscle stimulant which was NEVER administered! When brought to the attention of his daughter who worked the front desk, she said she wasn’t sure and would have the doctor review it. I made several phone calls to speak to Dr. Letts and was told each time he was busy and would call back. Needless to say, I never received a call back.
In all my years of going to chiropractors or any doctors for that matter, I have never met one that was so dishonest. I’m really surprised that he’s still practicing and that insurance companies have not caught on to his lies. People like him will never truly prosper when you live a dishonest lifestyle and take advantage of people. As it is written and said, «You reap what you sow.»
I’ve since found some great chiropractors who truly care about their patients and operate their business with integrity. Do yourself a favor and go see:
Dr. Nancy or Tom James in San Juan Capistrano or Dr. David Loaiza in Mission Viejo. They are the kindest, most genuine, honest doctors you’ve ever met. They don’t try to upsell you. There’s no requirements to be seen 3 times a week for 6 weeks like most chiropractors who really just want your money. Dr. James and Loaiza provide same results for less visits because they’re that good. Some people even use them as primary care doctors. I do too because they are more knowledgeable than most conventional doctors.

Dr Letts is the best! I’ve been going to his clinic for last two months after a car accident because of my neck injury, he has provided and continues to provide a holistic approach which decreased my neck pain tremendously. He treats you like family and provides support and understanding that I’ve never experienced or seen (I’m in the medical field)! He has a great staff, the massage therapists, Emily and Bree, have been phenomenal! I highly recommend Dr Letts and I’m very happy with his care and treatment.

I have been a patient of Dr Letts for over 10 years. I had a horrible car accident in 2004 that destroyed my neck. Without his kindness, treatment and expertise, i would not be an active mom! I will never go to anyone else! Especially because I have an injury in such a scary place. I highly recommend Dr Letts as a wonderful chiropractor and man!

Dr. Letts and his staff are simply amazing! I’ve been to many chiropractors and I’ve never met one so caring and good at what he does. He truly wants what is best for his patients! My insurance doesn’t cover chiropractic, but Dr. Letts is worth every penny. If you’re looking for a chiropractor, he’s the best. His staff is so friendly and helpful you’ll feel more like you’re going to visit a friend than a doctor and leave feeling better than when you walked in.

I’ve been going to Dr. Letts for about three months now, and I can’t thank him enough for how he has helped me. Not only is he an awesome person to talk to, he really helped me out with my upper back and shoulder problem. I came in because I was unable to keep my arms straight while doing shoulder press or barbell press workouts. After the third week of going, I was able to see a dramatic change in my form while working on shoulder press. I will always recommend Dr. Letts to anyone who is looking for chiropractic adjustment.

Thank you to Dr. Rick Letts and his lovely wife Katherine Kathleen Abe Letts. Yesterday, my back pain was unbearable. I couldn’t walk and was hunched over in severe pain. I called Dr. Lett’s office at 3:30pm after a few days of hoping some stretching, rest and advil would help me.
After describing what I had, his office immediately squeezed me in. I went into the office at 4:45pm. After a 30 minute massage and then EMS with heat therapy, I walked out with my pain level which was an 8 — 9 when I limped in at a 2 level. Amazing work.
Dr. Letts got to the problem. As he said it’s going to take some time to get me back to functionality, it endears me to say that he and his staff are amazing for helping me out immediately and treating me. 5 stars, fully professional, help with paperwork and all they knew I was in pain, so they didn’t hamper me with a lot of questions. First class all the way!

I’ve been seeing Dr Letts for 11 years. He is a former powerlifter and therefor understands my sport. He uses pretty state of the art equipment to soften up tough, oxygen starved muscle tissue. Great with ultrasound, stim machine, and adjustments.
I read the reviews down below about him charging for un necessary things, and that isn’t the case. There was a miss communication somewhere along the line and I am never pressured to book appointments, I just call in when necessary.

Such a nice doctor! I had my first adjustment from him today and I’m happy.
He’s so quick with intake and Very professional. I have been to many in the past and he’s my favorite.
My husband and I went in together and we had our newborn with is. He was very accommodating and understanding. He made the visit easy for us. I’ve Boole future appointments and can’t wait to try out their massages.!!
