This was such a good time, a really fun date night! Saw a Friday night show. The cast was hilarious. Love the intimate setting. It’s nice that you can get drinks at the bar down stars, in Irvine Lanes, and bring them up, but the drinks could have been a bit stronger. They strictly measure the shots per drink

The comedy shows are great clean fun, and the guys are super funny.

Good times, nice staff. I wouldn’t think that Improv is easy but most of these guys make it look pretty easy. Husband and I had a fun time. We will be back again.

Great fun on a Friday night. Wasn’t sure what the quality would be like when we finally got to the second floor. If you’re like us, don’t get freaked out by the intimacy of the venue. The comedians are top quality and got us laughing within moments and had us going for the full show. Also, even though it’s an intimate venue, nobody made us feel awkward. In fact, I had a bit of cold and didn’t think I would want to participate, but soon I found myself shouting out suggestions. Great time. We’ll be back.

This place is amazing. Came here for my birthday and it was a lot of fun. They’re open on Thursday Friday and Saturday. And for 10 dollars it’s totally worth it. I normally go to Aces comedy club in murrieta but I think I’m going to start coming here now. And it’s in a bowling alley. Who wouldn’t want that? The comedians all had their own different personality, choice of voices, and levels of experience that made the show so much better. Worth every penny, perfect location, and loads of fun. Recommended for going with friends, on a date, or for someone looking for a good laugh. It’s humor for the whole family but that doesn’t stop it from being hilarious. Will be coming back for sure!

WOW! What an awesome show! 3 of my friends and I went to the Friday July 3^rd show and had an incredible time. We go to a couple comedy shows each year and I can honestly say this show was by far the funniest we’ve ever seen. During the skits we laughed constantly. These guys are REALLY GOOD! We loved how they asked the audience for all the material that they used during the skits. This made the skits even funnier. Don’t miss this show! It’s been less than 3 weeks and we’re already planning on going back again this Friday. :) Bottom line: Great show! Great comedians! Oh and I forgot to mention the insanely low price! These guys are definitely not working for the money. They are doing it because they love it. Highly recommended!

Never a disappointment. We always laugh our heads off. This group is great and can take anything and make it funny. Can’t believe every show isn’t sold out! Was a small crowd tonight but we got to give lots of suggestions. Won’t wait so long before we see another performance.

This is OC’s best kept secret! If you love «Whose Line Is It Anyway?» then you’ll definitely love this since it follows a similar format. $ 10 /​ticket gets you in for good ‘ol clean fun! There were times that I was laughing so hard that I had coughing fits! And they also take suggestions from the audience. Definitely great for a night out, first dates, and /​or corporate events. I wish I knew about this sooner! I also can’t believe they do this on a weekly basis. That is total dedication right there!

I found out about this improv show by searching up date nights. I didn’t know what to expect at all, a comedy show just above a bowling alley sounds awesome right? Heck yes!
This was something different not your typical big box office show and dinner date. I wanted to keep things intimate yet fun and this show had the vibe I was looking for my date this evening.
In keeping this review short and not ruining things. The show was sooo hilarious my girlfriend and I couldn’t stop laughing it was clean jokes filled with audience participation good times to be had for sure. They’re true professional indeed and you will not regret going to this show!

Great show! Wanted to find something fun involving comedy as the Improv was very expensive and saw the great reviews on Unilocal and decided to give it a try! Really glad we did tons of clean (but very funny) find!

First timers at their 9:30 show. We had a great time! The «clean comedy» didn’t seem like it was going to be too funny but we got a good laugh.

My boyfriend took me to the Saturday night show as an impromptu date and we had an amazing time. The show awesome and hilarious! We enjoyed each member of the Improv team and loved the audience participation. The show we attended was packed and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We grabbed refreshments from downstairs at the bowling alley which was nice, but they have water in the room where the show is held. I look forward to returning soon!

I Unilocaled date night ideas at Unilocal and then this came up. I was intrigued by this crew and I wasn’t disappointed. I didn’t tell my wonderful wife what was planned – I paid and walked down this long hallway, and nobody was there in the room. I was like, oh crap!!! It’s gonna be 90 minutes of torture!!! But it was amazing!!! I forgot that there was an audience of three because they performed like there was 3,000 people there. I admire this group for being so professional and for their willingness to work according to the best of their abilities – despite the size of the crowd. I asked my wife to rate our date on a scale of 1 – 10 and she said it was a solid 8. She’s very honest– a trait I greatly appreciate. :). I will come back on another night because I heard there is much more to experience!!! It was also fun that we were able to bowl after the show!!!

We have been coming to these shows for few years. Our kids enjoy it too. Our youngest was 7. The humor is always clean. These guys and girls are so much fun! No two shows are the same. Sometimes you get to be on stage! Kids 10 and under are free with paying adult.

I absolutely love the comedy shows at ImprovCity! These guys are so funny. This is a great date night. cheap and lots of laughs! Or a fun thing to do with your family, since it’s clean comedy.
They don’t serve alcohol, but you can go downstairs to the bowling alley and get a drink and bring it back up to the comedy show.

Funny and energetic improv group! I love love loved it. My only complaint is my stomach is now sore from the non stop laughter. Lol

My boyfriend told me had a surprise for me and it was tickets to this show. I was so excited because i love to laugh. I didn’t know what to expect, when he told me its going to be a show inside a buliding. Bowling area bulding? And it was you just have to walk upside to the end of the bowling alley to get to Improv city.
The cast were delightful, and i loved that each person that their own spunk. It brings a lot to the table with a diverse group. The games they played were sooo much and i love when they allowed the audience to get involved. For example, naming a city to use in the skit.

I don’t write reviews much anymore. But this place deserves a mention. It’s … What’s the word? Incredible! If you like charades or who line is it this place is for you. They’re funny without the dirty which is very skillful. Haven’t laughed so hard for awhile. In fact, I think my shoulders/​trap are sore from sitting at attention and laughing too much. Definitely will come backs

My best friend and I decided to do something new on one of our hangout sessions so we decided to check out ImprovCity. It is located on the second floor of the bowling alley next to Boomers. We bought tickets for $ 10/​person. They offer free admission for high school students with valid student ID.
We brought in outside food and they were okay with that. They also offered a stamp card where you can get a free show after going back so many times.
The show started shortly after we were seated and it was quite a hit! I have to say that the music went along well with every scene of the show. The whole show is just a group of comedians and people that are good with ad libs and what not playing games that the host picks out of the hat. And audience participation is quite often. They will often take suggestions from the audience so don’t be scared to shout out your suggestions. My best friend and I were shy so all our suggestions were unheard of.
Honestly, I think each show is unique and the funny factor varies based on the suggestions by the audience. If you are creative and give funny suggestions to the actors/​comedians, then they will put on a good show for you. But if you give weird suggestions or boring ones, then obviously, it’s hard for them to work with to make it funny.
Overall, I think it was a good experience to check out. It was my first improv show and I am really glad my best friend dragged me out to go check it out.

I was very pleasantly surprised! Good laughs, audience gets involved, & enough comedians with different styles that you will definitely find one you jive with!
Come early or stay late to bowl. Grab a beer and some bar food downstairs, or don’t! Get involved as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Everything is really up to you, and I love that! Either way, it’s a great experience and I guarantee you you will not be able to make it through the show without laughing and wanting more.
$ 10 for a 1.5 hour show (another nice surprise! I thought it’d only be 1 hour!). Definitely worth it, and I’m looking forward to coming back in the future.
