Broken Blinds?

So I read all the great reviews and decide to give Sam a try. Great service, fair price, job done very quickly and correctly! And… He’s a nice guy! Just call him.

Sam was courteous, professional, and kind. Oh, and did I mention knowledgeable and efficient (the real reasons you’d be hiring him!)? We inherited very nice Hunter Douglas blinds when we purchased our home, but had no owners manual (yep, they were sophisticated and not very straighrforward). One of them broke and I was very hesitant to use the other ones. I finally Unilocaled and found Sam, and not only is the blind fixed but he taught me how to use them properly– what to do and what not to do if I wanted them to last. Don’t hesitate to hire him to repair any blind problem you may have.

Sam is a pleasure to deal with. He’s friendly and excellent at his craft. He fixed some really busted Hunter Douglas blinds back to perfection.
Some blinds had broken strings, missing strings, and missing tassles. Our blinds are back to great working shape and Sam even did what he could to keep our goals and budget in mind.
My favorite part was checking in on Sam while he was taking a match and burning the string ends looking like a magician doing magic tricks. Sam also has some scissor skills that are impressive.
Now Fixing blinds takes a unique skill and you get what you pay for. I feel Sam’s rates are really fair for what he does. Definitely give Sam a call to fix your Broken Blinds. 2 thumbs up.

Broken Blinds? Just call Sam. I looked up and called 2 Hunter Douglas in the area before using Unilocal and found Broken Blinds? Sam was fast, responsive, knowledgable. My blind is now repaired and I still have not received a call back from the other 2 Hunter Douglas businesses. I will use Broken Blinds in the future should my blinds need repairs.

Sam Michaelson of Broken Blinds was prompt, knowledgeable and repaired my Hunter Douglas blinds efficiently and professionally. He also took the time to show me how to replace the batteries in the future.

Sam was on time and had repaired two large blinds in 20 minutes. First time user and now the only way for us after years of using the manufacturer’s recommended vendor (mailing or us dropping off in Garden Grove).

Sam of Broken Blinds was awesome! He was on time and was very professional. He was able to remove my blinds and fix them on my driveway inside his brand new work truck. He has all the correct tools and parts to get the job done. We are fortunate to have a guy like him in our community since it is hard to find people that repair blinds on the spot. His fee for the service was very reasonable and saved me from spending alot more money on new blinds. I rate him A+. You won’t be disappointed.

Sam is the best! Getting ready to list my home and realized I needed to get a cord replaced on some Roman shades. Sam was able to schedule me in within a couple of days and even arrived on time. After fixing the broken shade, and in a timely manner I might add, he repaired a loose bracket on another shade (at no additional cost)! I would highly recommend Sam and Broken Blinds for any of your blinds and shade repair needs.

Sam, owner of broken blinds is going through some business changes, which can be at times very challenging I’m sure. This didn’t stop Sam from delivering above and beyond customer service, integrity and pure generosity to me during these busy and hectic holiday seasons! I have sent 2, and will have a third pair of gorgeous blinds repaired due to an extremely naughty puppy who chewed the chords and ladders to smithereens. Sam has done a wonderful job with repair and like I said incredible customer service. Do not think twice before handing your blinds over to Sam, he is a gem and delivers old school, real service with pride in his work which is so sorely missing in today’s world. 10 stars if I could! Now, I’m off to buy some ‘bitter apple’ to spray my repaired blinds down and keep that rambunctious puppy away!

I had six blinds that were all missing the wands. So he re installed the wands. He also remounted all of the blinds that were not installed properly probably causing the wands to break in the first place.

Took 2 Hunter Douglas Duette blinds in on Monday afternoon and they were perfectly done by 1:00 pm on Wednesday. They even checked with HD to see if the blinds were under warranty — which some of the parts were.
Both Sam and Jim are fantastic! The cost to repairs was minimal and saved a bunch.

Pure integrity. My wife who does not speak English, paid broken blind more then the estimate and the work they did at my house, while as was not there, was working. Did not even know, until they sent me a check saying they over chard me.
Great work. On my blinds and will call him again.
