Barranca Optometry

I’ve been been going to Barranca optometry for several years now, and from day one I really liked it. Dr Crystal really takes her time to explain everything in detail, and asked the right questions to make sure I get the best care, and I really appreciate that, plus the girls on the front desk are really nice and knowledgeable they always help me out. I really recommend barranca they will always treat you very well.

An excellent place to get your eye check up done. Dr Huang is very knowledgeable and spends good amount of time to get the check up done. Plus he has got great sense of humor which makes you feel very comfortable. His staff are extremely friendly and helped me in answering all my questions thoroughly. Definitely a great place to get your eye check up done.

Dr. Huang was wonderful! His sense of humor made our visit very enjoyable. The staff was patient and helpful. We will be coming back for sure!

What I like about Dr. Huang is that I/​m able to call even if it close. I was so worried about an issue of my eye that he return my call ASAP and answer my question. He took a big load off my back! He so funny and good with kids! My kids like him!

Called in on Saturday morning for an appointment, and I was able to get squeezed in the same day. I would highly recommend this office! Dr. Huang is very informative and very efficient. He was even able to give me a contact lens to try out the same day! I am so happy with my visit because I can finally see! I’ve been to other places in the past, and it wasn’t until I came here that I realized how bad the other places were. I guess you don’t know great service until you finally receive it! The staff is very nice as well. The place is very clean and the plaza is not too busy so parking is great. overall, I am I very happy patient and will be back with all of my family members.

I’ve tried several eye doctors in Orange Co, and after finding Dr. Huang, my entire family goes to this facility. It’s clean, in a good location, and they are quick to get you in. But, the staff is pleasant and Dr. Huang is very thorough… I could tell by his questions that he knew what he was talking about… I felt like he was respectful of my $ and my vision care… making sure I got the best fit for my situation. He’s funny too… so my teen loves him. They also work well with your insurance, so there aren’t surprises at the end of the visit.

Love the staff and their expertise! They are all patient and caring and kind. Dr. Huang is knowledgeable and thinks things through, beyond what you might find in a typical practice. I couldn’t be happier that these guys are just blocks away from me –and they have a very accessible schedule, open on some early evenings and on Saturdays. So glad I found them!

My experience is based off of a simple exam appointment. I did not buy any products. I had my first ever eye exam a few months ago back home and was given glasses to wear in class and while driving. However, my sight would vary between good and bad whenever I wear the glasses and questioned if it was the right prescription so I found this optometry office on Unilocal and called to make an appointment. They quickly found me a spot on the day I was available to come in for a reexamination. I came in 20 minutes before my appointment thinking I would either need to wait until my exact time or more. But they let me in quickly and was seen by the doctor immediately. She did the usual examination and explained to me the purpose of each process as well as what kind of glasses I was given. Apparently only my left eye needs glasses so that’s why my vision has been all weird since it’s trying to look through my good eye and bad eye. She told me the glasses were fine the way they were so no worries. I like how she didn’t try to force me to buy glasses from them and everything like most place. I would definitely come back for my exam next year and whenever I need glasses.

Dr. Huang is great! Very professional and funny! He explains things very well and I always feel assured. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Wait was never too long.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommend this office. From the initial contact they were professional and helped me to schedule the visit. Dr. Muraoka was outstanding and provided the care and guidance you look for from your doctor.

I had my sunglasses made here, they got nice Rayban and on top of that, they are really helpful. I needed a customized sunglasses for nearsightedness and the lady here she had gave me a lot of information on how and what was best for the sunglasses, besides I was also got discounted 20%. The end product was perfect too. Definitely will come back

Just an annual rx renewal but the process was easy, quick, and friendly. The staff seemed well organized. Really liked the frames they had too which never happens.

Absolutely amazing staff and physician. I went there with a ton of pain and feeling the pressure behind my eye. I was coming from Ruth Tang’s office where they denied treatment because I didn’t have an appointment. Dr. Huang took me in immediately and they checked for the more serious problems first. He is extremely kind and professional and makes sure you are having a good time while he has his fingers in you eyes. I haven’t been to an optometrist in 20 years but I think I’ll start coming here more often now. Thank you. Keep up the good work

After my millionth visit, ok, so it’s more like my 10^th visit, but hey, whose counting, I love Barranca Optometry! The whole staff, especially MY personal favorites, Pam, and Dr. Muraoka are amazing! It’s a fun and very friendly environment. I could write a thousand reasons why I love coming here, but the bottom line is, everyone in this office makes me feel like I’m their number one customer and that’s a special trait in business you just don’t see often enough.

Pam went above and behind to locate and repair my sons sport goggles in time for his last 2 Lacrosse games. It was outstanding service!

Amazing place. So I went somewhere else a year ago and the doctor was so uncertain about what was best for me. She gave me some contacts that I couldn’t see in. Ever since I have avoided going to the doctor to get another eye exam because my schedule is really busy. I took a shot today coming to barranca optometry and I am thankful I did. The location is great. The staff is helpful and doctor is AMAZING. He knew exactly what I was going trough without me even saying a thing. He is sooooo good and professional. I walked out with a pair of contacts that worked perfectly for me. My prescription is VERY complicated but he happened to have a pair of contacts that were exactly my prescription. Never going anywhere. He is awesome.

Dr. Huang is professional yet casual – He’s always in a cheerful mood when seeing patients. He and his staff go out of their way to make sure the patient gets what they need. His new office is quiet and extremely clean, not to mention up-​to-​date in the latest optometry technologies.

Was referred here by my friend Marvel. Called and made an appointment for my mom since she was having some trouble. The Doctor was very welcoming and explained everything clearly. He even spent extra few minutes with us by the hall. Very knowledgable and highly recommended! I can’t wait to go back for my own eyes.
The place is super clean and lots of parking around. They had many top of the line frames to choose from also.

I have been coming to Barranca Optometry for 5 – 6 years now and every time I go Dr. Huang and Dr. Muraoka they always do a thorough check and keep me updated on any and all issues concerning my eye health. They are both very friendly and detailed and really strive to provide you the best vision and most comfortable fit.
The office is very clean and other staff is very professional and prompt. You never feel like you’re being rushed.

My family and I have been going to Barranca Optometry for over 3 years now and have always been very happy with both doctors, Dr. Huang & Dr. Muraoka, and staff.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. The option of scheduling online is super convenient and very easy!
