History

Established in 2009.

With over 15 years in advertising and marketing, founder Alanna Airitam has been published in fashion and lifestyle magazines as well as countless websites and marketing materials. Her passion is to work with inspired individuals to capture their beauty and spirit. Real people with real stories. And this is why so many authors, performers, entrepreneurs, business owners, models, keynote speakers, social media personalities and others rely upon her creative eye and branding experience to help make their images stand out amongst the crowd. The last time we got glammed up for photos was for our wedding. Fast forward 11 years later, we decided it was time to document our next biggest milestone– we’re finally having a baby! Alanna took our Maternity photos to show off our baby bump! She made the whole photo shoot experience fun and effortless! She gave us just the right amount of direction and made both my husband and I feel comfortable in front of the camera. She even helped select a great outdoor location. We’re thoroughly happy with the photos and ordered several prints to share with family and friends! Alanna is truly a talented photographer with a keen artistic eye!

I worked with 2nd Chakra Studios on a business project and could not have been more pleased. prior to working with Alaana, i worked with another photographer in LA who claimed to do celebrities and didn’t after spending hundreds, i only got rushed through an emotionless head shot because i couldn’t relax through the session as she kept pointing out the time. Alaana truly cares about getting the right picture and takes more than the time needed to capture the most beautiful and natural shot. i loved working with her, she has a great personality as well with contributes greatly to a fun session and i would keep working with he on future projects when the time comes. thank you Alaana.

Like most people, i find it difficult to enjoy photos of myself. I see so many flaws. But after spending a session with Alanna I am completely at ease. It’s more than technique. Alanna has a way of pulling out your best. Maybe it’s because it’s so easy to work with her. Or maybe it’s the way she see’s you. Alanna is a genius! I’ve seen people gasp and get all teary eyed when they see her results for the first time: «OMG, I never knew I could look that good!» is the typical reaction. She can make the average that we all are into the special we all want to be.
Being a photographer is not just about having a camera or knowing Photoshop, as any of us who have tried will attest. Alanna speaks photography, she makes the camera sing. Together they have this weird little dance going on, and together they tease out your inner supermodel.
Alanna has a way of bringing the best out in you while the dance is going on. She engages you with warmth, enthusiasm and vitality; with her you somehow believe you’re much prettier than you ever did before — you know something special is going to happen, and the inevitable result is that it does!
Last point, very important — Alanna is not the all too common «artistic flake»; she’s reliable, consistent, and on time!

Incredibly talented, professional and driven, Alanna with 2ndChakraStudio is passion expressed in art. No matter what the project, Alanna goes above and beyond the standard frame and gets the job done well.
The post production is incredible in that there is little changed to keep the real life quality alive. Alanna’s work is really photo therapy. Can’t say enough how driven she is at what she does. I don’t think there is a shoot that 2ndChakraStudio can’t accentuate. I am eager to see the world experience this art.
