We come to the New England inn about once a year and every time we have an awesome meal at Tuckermans. Last night I had the Chicken Marsala and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend to someone whose never been!

Had dinner last night after the long drive. A delicious meal, prime rib for me and pot roast for the gal. Great selection of beers on tap. I recommend the chix corn chowder if you like a spicy appetizer to warm you up. Service was perfect. Thanks Sandra! We’ll definitely be back for more soon.

The last time we came was last year and had a good experience so we had to come back. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer and I ended up eating them as my entrée. They were just tasting so good with my Sam Adams Nitro White Ale! The wife had the Outta Bounds sand which and she loved it. We topped off the dinner with the Peanut Butter Pie, a must!

We came back to Tuckerman’s Tavern because the food and service is excellent. My husband had the Prime Rib Sandwich, it said it was very good. I love the lobster roll with home made french fries. We love this place.

My Wife and I recently stayed at Attitash and we were thinking a place to eat. So, she is familiar with the area and suggested we tried this establishment. First of all… when you enter the pub it is very inviting. I can only imagine how nice it is in the Winter with the fire going. Our Bartender was super friendly and new the menu from front to back. I had Shepperd’s Pie which was fantastic. I would recommend this Pub to all.

Great service, great food and great prices. What more can you ask for? The restaurant was packed when we got there but even so, we were seated within 20 minutes and our orders were taken and we had food very promptly. We ate here twice because we liked it so much! Lobster rolls were awesome!

Great food, great beers, great hosts, great atmosphere. If you want your dinner in 10 minutes or less go to DQ or KFC that’s probably where you belong. We liked the place so much we had dinner there two nights in a row. I found out my first night there the chef had got a hold of some local chanterelle mushrooms. I had some of them in a pasta dish and raved. The next night I showed up the owner Tom had a plate of the mushrooms sautéed up and sent out to me. Total class act. If you want a great meal and and a nice time out this place is for you. Sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Don’t be dick and complain if you have to wait 5 minutes for your beer, if so go into Conway, there’s a Burger King waiting for you.

We went to «Tucks» last night for my fiancés birthday dinner. We had excellent service in the past as well as excellent food. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we got there, but, we decided to sit at the bar. Our drink order was taken practically before our butts got into the chair. Great. We got our drinks and then waited and waited and waited for anyone else to help us. It seemed VERY busy behind the bar with about 5 people scurrying behind it. Kind of chaotic. We finally grabbed our own menus as none had been provided to us. It took a good 15 — 20 minutes for anyone to ask us if we wanted anything. I was ready to finish my beer and leave. I didn’t because my fiancé wanted to eat there. We finally ordered appetizers, but, waited what seemed an extra long time for fried mac & cheese bites and some wings. After the waiter decided to acknowledge that we were still sitting there & may want to eat, he took our order. He seemed too preoccupied with the party sitting to our left. Lots of talking to them and ignoring us. The people sitting to our right had ordered after us and got their food before us. They seemed like regulars as they knew everyone and everyone knew them. It almost seemed like preferential treatment. My fiancé had ordered a salad to have before his meal. It came out with the 8meal almost 45 minutes after we ordered. I was really ready to leave. We voiced our dissatisfaction, but, I think that it went in one ear and out the other. The food absolutely made up for the service. It was delicious and we were very pleased with our meals. Another waitress came over and asked if we wanted dessert. I passed, but, told my fiancé that since it was his birthday, he should get something. He ordered the bear balls. They came out with a candle in them and the staff singing. Nice touch. We were finally done & got the check. They charged us $ 6.99 for the birthday dessert. Most places take that off the bill. There was no discount for the amount of time that we waited either. I was very disappointed. We used to frequent the restaurant when we lived up here a few months out of the year, so, was excited to eat there. There was definitely too many people behind the bar & too many people taking our app, drink, entrée, & dessert orders. I liked the old«Tucks«before it changed hands. It was a much more calm and relaxing atmosphere, but, more importantly, it was organized. We will probably head elsewhere for dinner the next time we are up this way. Too chaotic for me.

We went here after a day with kids at Story Land. It was just ok. The atmosphere was nice and rustic, just what you would expect from a tavern in the mountains. Kids were famished of course. You have to pay for bread, which was salty breadsticks. We seriously waited over 20 min for our beers to come. The food was decent, I got the oven roasted haddock. Kids got pasta with sauce and it was a good sized portion and kids meals came with sundaes. I think overall it was the server that annoyed me. She seemed confused and ignored us. When asked for an opinion on the dessert menu, it was like we asked her how to get to the moon. What the hell. Probably won’t go back!

Nice after a day at Story Land. Kid friendly. At 6pm on a Tuesday they were already out of steak tips. Ordered Delmonico and perfectly cooked and at a fair price. Would try again on a Friday or Saturday which is prime rib night.

Awesome place! Been going to Jackson for years and years and never went to this place until tonight. I have severe celiacs disease so my dining options are limited. This place had a decent gluten free menu. Nachos were awesome and I had the salmon with jasmine rice and squash. It was really good. The ambiance was excellent too. Definitely will be going back again.

Ate here with a party of five, including two very senior citizens. This is the best restaurant of its kind I have been to in the Jackson/Conway area. Beautifully renovated, large, multi-roomed, wood-paneled, ski country style. Large casual restaurant American style menu. Good prime rib special. Generous drinks. Excellent desserts, including«bear balls» — large enough for two or more. Very good service. My only concern is that accessibility for the elderly and disabled is very poor — no entry ramp and stairs to climb outside and in. We were there in the spring; winter time would be much more difficult. Also, the restaurant is off the main road and can be hard to find if you do not know where you are going or have a good GPS.

Tuckermans at the New England Inn long time since we’ve been to the Valley and lots of changes. Tucker mans is no longer a sleepy little B&B restaurant. It’s a destination for others staying elsewhere in the Valley. The bar was active and noisy at 9:00 when we arrived. Several tables full of patrons were out on the deck enjoying the breeze and the half full moon. The bar was full and we were seated at a table in the restaurant area with several other couples eating a late dinner. The kitchen is open until 10:00 and the bar ’til 11:00ish. Our welcome seemed sincere and our waitress was very helpful, giving her opinion when asked. Menu was incredibly inclusive with apps, sandwiches, pizzas and full meals. Fish and Chips and baked haddock were on the special Friday menu but we chose Prime Rib(still rare at this late time) and chicken with brown sugar glaze, peach chutney and scallions. We were both very happy with our meals. After our dinner the owner came over to see how we felt. We spent about fifteen minutes talking about the changes in the Valley since we last were here. He showed an interest both in our satisfaction with his meal and with our observations on his home town. It added a personal touch to an already great meal.

Decent but unremarkable tavern with the usual ubiquitous menu items of nachos, burgers and basic dinners such as steak tips. Staff are polite and accommodating. It can be crowded with long waits. If the wait is more than 15 minutes I move on.

The two stars are mostly for the ambience. We had a party of 8 on a lighter eve and we were seated within 15 minutes which was great. The server was friendly but someone inept, leaving us waiting for long periods of time while we could see her chatting with friends at other tables. The food was really lackluster. I ordered the special ribs which«they dont do often so really special.» They were small and dry with little spice. Others had pot roast which was equally bland according to them. The best looking dish was a baked salmon salad. And on top of this we are double charged on one of the credit cards… to be fixed soon I hope. I am from Portland where the food is outstanding but still, this is not the stix!

The Cajun chicken Alfredo was absolutely delicious. Also tasty: blueberry lemonade and the buffalo wings(that bleu cheese is dayummmm good). Service was exceptionally friendly. We finished up with a Belgian waffle sundae special that was monstrous and could feed a family of four. Excellent food for the area and a nice woody, cozy restaurant too. I’d put this in my top five North Conway area restaurants for sure.

I was recently in North Conway for a weekend trip and came here for dinner and drinks one night. The wait time was what they said it would be and we were able to have a drink while waiting. We ordered the prime rib for dinner since it was a local favorite. Not only was the food delicious but it also came out in about 10 minutes from ordering! For an appetizer we got the fried Mac and cheese which was quite tasty ! The wait staff was very friendly and the bar was a comfy area for dinner. I would come back here next time I am in town!

Since traffic during foliage season can get crazy up here, we opted to have dinner here one night as it is across the street from where we stay when in the area. There’s a nice bar area and the dining room has a family restaurant feel. Flat screen TV’s are located throughout the restaurant, which made it easy to watch the Red Sox playoff game. The menu is large with a varied selection. There’s a little something for everyone. Our waitress(Rachael, I think?) was fantastic. We started with the chicken tenders, Thai style. The portion was generous, but the sauce was too heavy and overwhelming. I tasted more like sweet chili sauce than Thai. I had the Greek salad with chicken. The portion was large. It was OK, not a big wow, but OK. My husband had the Wasabi salmon. The sauce was fantastic but the rest was middle of the road. We split the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and that was tasty. We’d go back, but it probably wouldn’t be our first choice.

Amazing Food, wonderful service. Wish this restaurant was back home. Six of us had dinner here tonight. Three of us opted for the Shepherds Pie. None of us were starving when we got there and it was a good size portion. I thought it was fantastic. My mom thought it could use ‘more taste’ and all my aunt would say was«it’s different»(she’s never had shepherds pie before). All three plates were empty and every saying how they were so stuffed they couldn’t move. Therefore I’m thinking everyone really agreed with me that it was fantastic but the others didn’t want to admit it The other three ate pot roast, chicken park, onion soup, and Kung Pau chicken. All raved about how good the good was None of us had room for dessert The waitress was excellent and put up with all if our questions(not being familiar with the food)
