Horrible service, long waits, they say they cater to special needs, but they wouldn’t know what to do with a special needs person if they were handed a manual. Will never go back

There is only one drawback to the eye institute and that is the length of time you’re there. Waiting. There’s a long wait to see any of the eye specialists… Once you see yours you fully understand why. 315pm in the afternoon and you are treated like their first patient and only patient of the day. They care, they are highly highly skilled and people come from states away for eye issues and surgeries. The level of care they have given my mom is just simply incredible.

Dr. Purvin is great. Really well educated, knowledgable and helpful. She is very detail oriented. I had an unusual case, and she did a great work up for me to go to Mayo Clinic. Her staff however is less than friendly. The concept for basic social skills is far beyond their grasp. So don’t expect any social pleasantries, or any sympathy for that matter.
