You know you have more too far out from the inner city when it takes you 30 minutes or more to locate a beauty supply. I’m sure my urban beauties understand!
King’s Beauty is a beauty supply chain in Indy and this location is not different from the other stores I have visited. It is a medium sized store, offering the common needs for urban beauty. They have a limited supply of a hair and wigs as well as the mainstream ethic beauty supplies. I needed some braiding hair, which was priced reasonable. I was able to find what I was looking for. There was only employee in the store and he was busy with another person, so I can’t get into how helpful he was. But he was nice in completing my transaction.
I will say the store is located in a very underdeveloped complex. There’s not much more to say other than if you live on the Southside and can’t find an ethic beauty product at Target, Walmart or Sally’s, this may be a good spot to make instead of making a trip into the inner city.
