I just moved here from NYC. I own my own event and floral business in NYC. I ordered flowers first through Teleflora and picked Flowers On The Square as the florist to handle the order. I ordered an orchid plant. I happened to put the wrong suite number on the order so I called Flowers On The Square directly. The woman whom answered the phone told me she would have to reject the order because she had no orchid plants in the shop. She told me next time call her directly as Teleflora marks up their plants/arrangements and I would get more for my money ordering directly from her. I ended up canceling the order through Teleflora and called back Flowers On The Square, I asked to send some sort of plant or dish garden and was told they had no plants in the shop. What florist doesn’t have plants on any given day? I was told she had beautiful flowers so I placed an order for flowers. I told the woman I wanted to spend $ 60. Gave the address/credit info and placed the order. The flowers were delivered and my partner brought them home. The flower were very pretty but I feel very standard especially after looking at my credit card statement and seeing I was charged $ 84.90. WHAT? Some lilies, a few roses, two irises, and two hydrangea??? Like I said above I own my own floral business back in NYC and know the prices of flowers and we are talking $ 18 dollars tops for the flowers/vase used. I understand the business needs to make money but nearly $ 70 on top of the price of the flowers is highway robbery. I am all for supporting local businesses but not when the local business is going to take advantage and over charge for very basic flowers. Last time I will be using this floral business.

I’ll never order from this place again. I ordered flowers to my girlfriend’s work for her birthday, but when she told me she was going to take the day off, I sent an email to cancel my order. They ended up delivering the order a day early, so she was actually there to receive it, but then later in the day they realized that I had tried to cancel the order, and THEYCALLEDHERANDSAIDTHEYNEEDEDTOCOMETAKETHEFLOWERSBACK. I mean are you kidding me? When I called them to tell them that a) they delivered the flowers a day early, b) the order was supposed to have been canceled, and c) I couldn’t believe they tried to get the flowers back from her, they were less than apologetic and would not give me refund.

Usd them a handful of times and they’ve been great. Very creative, good price for a local shop.

Ok first I would like to say I am all for local stores and prefer to support them if at all possible even if it’s a bit more expensive. The people there were friendly; however I think they tried to pull a fast one on me or the prices here are just nuts. Went in for a dozen red roses. I asked for the simplest, most basic package as I already have a vase and they rang me up at 70+ dollars. WHAT?! I thought ‘maybe she said 17…’ Nope. I apologized and left. Unfortunately I will not return unless I inherit a large sum of money. 10 dollar Kroger special it is.

While I had zero human interaction due to an online order, the experience was excellent. The price was right, the delivery was timely, and over a week later the flowers still look good. I thought they might be fake, actually.

I ordered items from Flowers on the Square for an event, but it turns out that I did not need them. I called 4 days in advance to cancel my order and was given some seriously bad attitude. Definitely won’t be shopping here again!
