Welcome to Simply Hooked. I am your Captain Tom Markham along with my first mate Ricky Brumett we would like to welcome you aboard Simply Hooked fishing charter. Just a little history about myself and my lifetime of fishing the beautiful Suncoast Waterway, on the tropical west-​central coast of Florida.

I am a fourth generation Florida native, having been born and raised in Saint Petersburg Florida. I’ve been fishing the Gulf Coast waters since I was able to hold a rod and reel and bait my own hook. I’ve worked for fifteen years with some of the best-​known captains in the local area before becoming a captain and owner of my own vessel ten years ago. When I’m not out with my charters, I’m busy with my stone crab business and a commercial fishing crew supplying local seafood houses with fresh salt water fish like red grouper, black grouper, hogfish and snapper.
