Seaside Pool & Spa specializes in pristine looking swimming pools. Established in 1984, with almost 30 years of experience. As you can tell from the photos on our web page and our testimonials our pools stand out above the rest.

We also go to great lengths for genuine customer satisfaction. Being from a previous generation I remember what real customer service is. Having worked at a gas station as a youth, I remember how every vehicle which came in not only got their fuel pumped in for them but their windows washed, and their oil and air cleaner checked. I’ve often thought back on those days, you just don’t see customer service like that anymore. You go to the department store and you left to fend for yourself, you go to the home improvement store and you just can’t find anyone to help you. This is not what Seaside is about. We’re dedicated to quality work and great customer service.

History

Established in 1984.

I’m no different than any one else. I grew up here in San Diego, got married and began having a family. When my second child was born, my son, I started Seaside Pool & Spa.

I joined IPSSA the Independent Pool & Spa Service Association. Got my contractors license, and have never had a claim against me.

I’ve attended numerous classes and seminars on all aspects of pool maintenance. I’ve earned my CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification.

Over the years I’ve intentionally kept my business small taking on only what I could handle. Some of my customers I’ve had for over 20 years. But now my family has grown up and I need to grow the business accordingly.

My son Michael now works in the business with me, my son-​in-​law Matthew at Sketchbox design manages my web page. My wife who worked side by side with me for many years now handles the paperwork. And my grandson, we’ll time will only tell. He’s a pool service tec in the making that’s for sure. We are truly a family run bus.

I suppose that even before being a business owner I’m a family man. As proud as I am of my business I never wanted to say one day that I missed out on the truly important things in life. I can vouch for what they say the kids grow up so fast.

My son now works with me in the business, and I’m a proud grandpa.
