Orion at Star Ranch

The only reason this complex gets one star is because the grounds and my view are nice. Other than that I WILL NEVER RENT HERE AGAIN. I am only half way through my lease and have never encountered so many problems with an apartment complex office.
I had issues during the approval process but I ignored the red flags. I was told I was approved a month before and never heard a word back as my move in date approached. Two weeks prior I CALLED to check in and Lacy tells me that I was still missing required documents. Was anyone going to call me and tell me that? Nope. I had to find out myself by calling them.
My rent for this month was dropped off in the office a few days early while I was out of town. I spoke with lacy that same day to make sure the payment would be processed, and she said it was confirmed. Sure enough five days later I have a note hanging on my door saying my rent is late and I have a $ 60 late fee. I was still out of town so I called the office and left a message immediately. I never even got a call back.
And those are only two of my bad experiences. I have many more. The grounds are always in disarray. I have even seen dog feces in the hallway of my building. The office ignores all requests and slaps on fees anywhere possible.
Save yourself the trouble and look somewhere else. This has been a terrible experience for me and I still have six months left here.

I have lived here for over a year. It was nice clean and the staff was great when it was mansions buuuut now they have orion that took over and they are rude don’t do anything that u ask tack on fees don’t clean the property the gate is always broken and now they have a new management that doesn’t seem to be any better. I wish I never signed a new lease with them they don’t respond to Maitnance calls the office is just rude all beyond rude. Maitnance just sit around all day in the karts they have let undesirable people move here and the property has gone down horribly. I don’t think these are worth what you pay just for the fact you have the worst office staff that charges whatever they feel and now you can’t pay with a money order you HAVE to pay with a cashiers check or a personal check so now I have to add 5 dollers in to my rent to get this check because I don’t do banks!!! REALLY. The residents don’t pick up dog poo it’s nasty. Trash in the roads cars that have been parked in the same spot never moved for 6 or more months. Rudy people I don’t recommend this place I see more move outs and broken leases then I do move ins. Sick of rude nasty office staff wonder what the next crew will be like… bring back mansions crew they were great
