History

Established in 2011.

As passionate paddlers, we’ve served many thousands of locals and travelers since we opened our doors in 2011. WPA and PaddleFit certified instructors can show you proper paddle technique, if desired. We are thrilled to be at Quail Creek State Park and be able to offer year-​round rental service only a few steps from the water’s edge, as well as offsite sales from our Hurricane location. Corporate and tour groups welcome. For best results, book in advance!

We love the water. Done. One of my uncles gave us a tandem kayak years ago. It was just the tonic I needed to unwind from heavy design deadlines and essentially push a mental «reset» button that would allow me to get back to other aspects of life with renewed vigor. The spirited peace of paddling was too powerful to keep to ourselves. Everyone paddles for a different reason, but those that paddle soon find out what their reason is!
