Bethpage Federal Credit Union

I have been banking here for years, and have generally been satisfied, however after last weeks experience I may have to re-​think this. I was in on a Saturday for a simple question after receiving a confusing letter regarding my account. I entered the bank and the line was to the door. There obviously we’re not enough people working this day. There was some kind of closing or something going on and that’s where the manager or assistant manager was. He seemed to have know idea as to the chaos going on outside the room he was in. There was a line of people at the tellers and a line of people to see people at their desks. People were screaming and yelling, at one point I stuck my head into where the manger was to tell him what was going on in the bank. I waited for 45 mins to see somebody. That is totally unacceptable as far as I am concerned. Also someone was trying to use the change machine that wasn’t working properly, so he cut everyone in line, went to a worker and demanded she help him. She looked like a deer in headlights and didn’t know what to do. They need to get there act together.

Definitely one of the best places to keep your money. Always great service and you have to love not being gouged with fees.
I took a star off because the drive-​up ATM still requires envelopes and it would be nice to see ATM fee rebates, but those really are minor things.

I LOVE this bank. Every one who works at this location is super nice. They have always helped me out with any questions or help. I have my car loan from here & my checking & savings account. I had to switch banks because bank of America started to charge me for breathing (Just kidding). Bethpage federal is no fee to sign up or no monthly fee AND they give you 50 bucks. Not too shabby.
I work nearby, and i don’t get direct deposit, so I’m always stopping in and every time I go the tellers ask me how my day was, my weekend was, etc. Maybe cause I’m cute? but whatever… still very nice :)
