My wife and I met Brad at my sisters engagment party while he was hosting/​djing. We liked his energy so much that we later asked him to DJ at our wedding 2 years later. From day 1 all the way till the end, Brad and his team took care of us. They made sure everything went as plan and constantly made sure we were good. We originally hired Brad to be our officant/​dj/​photo booth but later asked him to coordinate the wedding for us 5 days before the wedding. In that little time we gave Brad, he was able to pull through and made sure our wedding went perfectly which it did! Brad drove out all the way from oceanside to Long Beach to meet with us to get the final details for the wedding 2 days before the wedding. Now that’s what I call customer service! We recommend Brad to anyone that is looking for grade A service and energy. Brad became more of a friend rather than someone we hired to help with the wedding. My wife and I are extremely greatful for him and his team! Thank you so much for making our wedding go as smoothly as possible! We loved every minute of it.

My friend was getting married around the same time that I was. Not sure how she found Ultra Star events but I need a DJ/​MC for my wedding. She forward me the website info. She didn’t use them because she needed a bilingual DJ/​MC. We met up with Brad and didn’t bother interviewing any other ones.
First time we met Brad, he was so personal, we felt an immediate connection that we just went ahead and booked him immediately. We didn’t even bother to shop for any other DJs. We needed an officiant and he said that he does that as well. We didn’t know what to expect. DJ and officiant all in one sounded different. But our ceremony turned out wonderful. Brad gave a wonderful speech presentation about love and marriage. He kept it simple, quick and to the point just how we wanted.
Brad’s team did our uplighting at Serra Plaza as well as the photo booth.
Btw– Brad was our wedding Cordinator as well. Two days before our wedding, the weather forecast shows chances of rain. Brad worked with the venue manager to draw up other plans in case it rained. They worked so well together to plan our special day where I didn’t have to worry or stress about anything. Brad knows exactly what to do to keep the bride from stressing or worrying. I’m so glad to have Brad as my Cordinator. Thank goodness the weather turned out beautiful. I couldn’t have asked for more. Everything turned out absolutely wonderful. Can’t thank Brad enough.

Brad and his team were fantastic in the planning and execution for our two day wedding. I do not think he knew what he was getting himself into when he agreed to coordinate, DJ, do lighting, videography, photography & photobooth services with our BIG, extremely detailed, and chaotic intercultural (Filipino/​Indian), interfaith (Catholic, Hindu) celebrations– but he & his team devoted so much time and effort into creating & capturing a memorable event. Even when the unanticipated happened (cue rain at the end of outdoor ceremony #1, and fire alarm going off during reception #2), Brad & his team made it work and events appeared to continue effortlessly in the eyes of our guests. His assistant Vanessa was extremely attentive during both days. His videography team headed by Dennis went above & beyond. His photography team headed by Jojo captured beautiful images. UltraStar Event productions did an amazing job and comes highly recommended.

Brad was the DJ at my friend’s wedding and I remember that he was extremely energetic and upbeat. I asked for his information for our wedding, and after our initial meeting we decided to work with him because we knew he could do a great job and his enthusiasm for us and our wedding was incredibly contagious — we have absolutely no regrets in our decision.
Brad is very spirited, sincere, and invested. We were worried that our guests wouldn’t mingle or dance, so we needed someone who could be friendly and enthusiastic to encourage involvement. During the planning process, he met with us to bounce ideas about the timeline of the day and main events since we were overwhelmed with where to start. We really appreciated his time and dedication, since we think it isn’t industry standard to meet again. We wanted music from many different genres to appeal to different ages, and he knew it all and offered great suggestions. On the wedding day, he came early to set up, and the music transition between our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception was seamless. Throughout the evening he was excellent about checking in with us about the timeline and anything we needed or wanted. He helped keep us on track and kept guests entertained and involved all evening. We could tell that he was completely dedicated to the success of the event, making us happy and worry-​free, and giving 110% energy and enthusiasm. The cherry on the top is that his rates are very reasonable. We really enjoyed working with Brad and would highly recommend him to friends and family. Thank you Brad!

Where do we even begin. If there’s such thing as 10 stars rating, we would choose it in a heartbeat! Brad was beyond amazing! He made our special day very seemless and stress free. He was actually the only vendor we met for DJ/​MC services because once we met him, we knew we found the one. He is very charismatic and you can genuinely feel that he cares about his clients! Looking back (we actually just got married yesterday), hiring him was one of the BEST investments we made for the wedding. I really thought I would unleash my beast mode during the last week before the wedding but thank goodness for his team, we enjoyed every moment of our special day! They even surprised us with lovely pictures they captured during the event — how amazing is that!
I’m sure we’ll be meeting him again soon since I wouldn’t be surprise if our family/​friends hire him on their next party — they were all very impressed! Up to this day, they are still raving how much fun they had dancing the night away. He also gets an extra star since he’s a Zedd fan! :)

I could not say enough or have imagined a better DJ for our wedding than DJs Brad and Eddie.
Brad was very dedicated and wanted us to have a perfect day as much as we did. Starting with his initial meeting, he wanted to know and meet our needs, but also had great ideas to take it to the next level.
His wedding coordination experience was extremely beneficial and we used his timeline and creative ideas even more than our wedding coordinator’s (who also had 5 stars reviews).
His energy grabbed everyone’s attention and set the fun mood we wanted, from the game he suggested and MC’d, to having everyone smile for our group photos, and getting everyone out onto the dance floor.
He was also the best value by far compared to others, including his lighting and effects. Looking back, maybe we could’ve saved expenses by just using Brad for both DJ and wedding coordinator services.
I’ve been to a ton of weddings and I’ve never seen anyone come close to Brad as an MC/​DJ at the big event (not even when I MC’d for a friend ;). Truly a total package professional solution with a personal touch. Highly, highly recommended!!!

DJ Brad and his team are the absolute best. We have booked his services for our annual corporate awards event 3 years running. Every single time he never ceased to impress and he always hits a home run. I can’t wait until next year. Thank you Brad!

I would just like to say that Brad and his team (Dennis, Jo, and Laura) did an amazing job on my wedding day. I wasn’t the most accommodating bride, but they were the most accommodating team. My day seemed to flow much more smoothly and efficiently when they were around. And frankly, coming from me it is saying something since I got the big wedding that I didn’t ask for. Haha
I had booked Brad a full year before my event and he was there to make sure that everything went according to plan. He was there to make sure that I didn’t forget that I was getting married. LOL! Everything was so beautiful that even though it has been almost 2 months after my wedding, my guests are still raving about how epic it was. If I am even in need for another event, Brad will be the first one I call.
One last thing I would like to mention about Ultrastar Events is that they are a very organized team. They seemed to be 2 steps ahead of me throughout the process. Late nights on Google Meetings with Brad is something that I am going to miss since he made us feel special.

Love Brad’s group~~ his energy brings everything together well. He was our officiant, wedding planner, DJ, and lighting person ! Because he knows everything, our wedding went prefect! Also, the package price is very attracting.
As our planner, when we started working on our program timeline, we had no clues but he knows, of course. Thus, everything went smoothly. Even though we are a little behind our timeline like 15 mins. (I apologized I was walking too slow down the aisle. because I never got used to wearing heels, but eventually thing went well on our program. Especially thanks for Laura to be his assistant to make sure our program run well. She was nearby me all the time to make sure I would not fall down the aisle and finished my make-​ups on time. Also, she is very kind and pretty. You won’t be able to tell she has two kids…
Thanks Brad for being our officiant. My husband is pretty shy, so he can’t make our personal vow. While Brad spent time on hearing our story and spoke for us, the story is touched and my friends felt so nice.
Thanks Brad for being our DJ and Host, we are not original from America, so we don’t know many songs except these top 10, so we requested him to give us a list of choices to pick up our favorite songs. He did a great job for this. Also, save us a lot of time to find the best. While for the dancing time, he knows what is good song for slow move as well clubbing style. His mix and match is wonderful. You won’t regret to hire him.
Finally, our lighting is amazing! Thanks for Brad and Alfonso. You can read my husband’s mind. He loves purple, so lighting fit our wedding color theme perfectly.

UltraStar Events did an amazing job with my daughter’s Sweet 16 party.
Brad did an amazing job helping me coordinate everything to make the party an amazing hit.
He had lots of great songs that he played during the dinner for the older guests. He was able to switch it up for the teenagers to dance the night away.
He was able to work within my budge & help the party as HUGE success.
I definitely recommend Brad & UltrStar Event.

I wish there was an option to give DJ Brad 10 out of 5 stars for his superb services, upbeat personality, and promptness on the day of my sister’s wedding! I scoured the internet to look for DJ/​MC and photo booth services until I came across Brad on Unilocal.After speaking to him on the phone, I immediately knew that he was the perfect choice!
He transitioned the events smoothly and kept the reception on time with his punctuality. Guests enjoyed the playlists that he compiled together, and he brought the house down once it was time to dance! Brad also gladly acted as a security guard when wedding crashers jumped in too.
I believe that his company also provides lighting, photography, videography, and other services too. The photo booth comfortably fitted large groups of people and provided an endless selection of silly props. The camera and photo strips also came out to be very high quality once printed out efficiently.
Would I recommend DJ Brad? Definitely! Brad is honest, professional, and extremely organized. His prices are affordable, and he helped make the wedding reception a night to remember! He exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond. His services truly satisfy the name «ultrastar.»

One month ago Ultrastar delivered their services on our contract for 4 services for our 230 guest wedding event. If I could go back, I would have used a different vendor for the services and can only recommend Ultrastar as a DJ. I was sold on the fact that since Ultrastar was already there they could provide additional services. Brad overpromised and underdelivered. His «cross-​trained» staff were also not seasoned enough to respond to issues and he could not be everywhere at one time.
I would rate:
DJ & MC services: 3 star (music was fine my family likes to dance and we had a full dancefloor however the MC did not use my latest spreadsheet that I sent 5 days prior to the event and family members were not announced, as planned, at the beginning of the reception)
Uplighting: 2 star (insufficient lighting for large ballroom although contract stated full uplighting. Requests by bride and groom and photographer to lower the lights 3+ times were ignored) They tried to fix the uplighting and ameliorate the situation but really it came down to subpar equipment.
Wedding planning month of coordination and day of services: 2 stars (I’m an organized person and I planned everything, paid our vendors, set the timeline I just needed someone to run things the day of when I can’t). Brad provided a couple of timeline comments in our meetings and there were 2 additional staff members the day-​of for 4 services but all 3 were busy trying to set up. The event was understaffed.
Photobooth: 0 stars. They ran out of paper halfway through our 3 hour session and were RUDE to my guests when they asked about the print outs or access to prints. The pictures were also mediocre in quality because the flash equipment was insufficient. In retrospect, probably why they ignored our request to dim the lights.
Lots of 5 star reviews, which convinced me to take the risk in executing the contract. I’m glad he was able to deliver for other events, however he did not for ours. My lesson learned: With an event as important as a wedding, quality is more important than a convenience factor or multi-​service package discounts.

A long overdue 5 star review for my man Brad. He had provided the lighting, DJ’ing and MC’ing AND an epic slide show for me and my wife’s wedding reception back on June 11, 2011. Ever since I’ve been referring him to friends and family that needed his services. Highly recommended. Very professional and a great person to work with. If I need these types of services for another event in the future I will be sure to give him a call!

I normally don’t leave comments on Unilocal,but Brad with all his hard work deserves to be recognized. We hired him as our Officiant, DJ, lighting, bar tending and Wedding Coordinator. His company Ultrastar Events is a one stop shop that took care of all our needs. All of my guests at the wedding thought he was awesome with an upbeat vibe, great voice and was very respectful of others. He made it happen at my wedding. I’m very happy with how everything turned out. Not only was he professional but he also have this personalities that is so like able. I would definitely recommend Brad, his staff and Ultrastar Events to any couples for their future wedding.

Brad did a great job as DJ/​MC for my wedding in April. He had great energy and really got everyone on their feet dancing. It was a good experience, and I am sure that they do an equally great job with everything else their company provides.

Brad and his team are great! Wouldn’t go wrong in booking ultrastar events as a wedding vendor. What’s best is that they can take care of most, if not all your needs. Dj/​MC, uplighting, wedding coordinator, and vidoegraphy was what I booked them for. They also provide photography, photobooth, flowers, dance floors, etc. Overall great experience and very friendly and responsive. Would definately recommend them.

I was going off on a limb hiring UltraStar Events based on Unilocal reviews. But their 5 stars didn’t disappoint. I hired them for their DJ and lighting services. Everything turned out great. All their services were customizable according to their client’s requests. Although there was a small glitch with the first DJ, everything worked out. DJ Brad is an incredible, personable, and honest businessman. He helped me out in anyway he can and made sure my wedding was everything I wanted. I can say that he went above and beyond his job descriptions. Thank You for helping me get everything organized and making sure my big day turned out as beautiful as it did.
