He’s so awesome!
I hired him for my aunt’s wedding, we didn’t have a party planner so we were unsure of the usual traditions in what order etc. He completely helped us out and he played a little bit of everything!

I’ve been having DJ Barney play at my sons birthday for the past 4 years and every year it gets better with his music and lights.
This past weekend I referred him to some friends for their wedding and they thanked him that I referred them one of the best current wedding DJ in Los Angeles.

We had DJ Barney as the main DJ for our WEDDING on April 16, 2016 and I have to say that if it wasn’t for him, things wouldn’t have been as smooth, coordinated, and successful as they were. He pumped up all our guests for the wedding party entrance, toasts, dollar dance, & cake cutting; he made people laugh and start dancing without having the groom or myself having to worry, or having to tell him what to do, say, or play! THAT FOR ME, was the BEST feeling in the world! We discussed prior to the wedding day what we wanted, and the timeline of events, and he himself coordinated and took over that day… I was amazed. HE KNOWS what he’s doing! AND LET’S NOT FORGET HIS SET UP!!! My wedding was elegant… and his setup went PERFECTLY with everything! We were so lucky to have him! Thank you, DJ Barney!

I meet him years ago at a family function and I automatically loved the vibe he created everyone left the party talking about how good the music was so I had to leave with his business card and ever since then every family gathering we have I am chosen by my family to get in contact with him since we all love the energy he creates, he gets everyone up on their feet he also keeps everyone involved in what’s going on in the party very friendly, very down to earth he has the best equipment out there by far can’t choose anyone else but him !!! Can’t say enough about the awesome music and photo booth experience DJ Barney provided for our event! He read the room perfectly, and timed music/​my mic time flawlessly. Incredibly professional and willing to drive all the way from LA to San Diego just to meet with us and briefly discuss the event ahead of time.
Highly recommend! I’d use his service again in a heartbeat.

I was just at dj Barney’s house party this Saturday, my friend booked him and he was great.
He had a great variety of music, even thought he didn’t had a play list from my friend at the party.
The dance floor lights were also great.
He also has a hot spot Internet so any song we asked him for he was able to buy it from online.
He arrived on time and didn’t have any problems with staying extra hours which we compensate him for.
I highly suggest him for any event you have!

Barney was a hit at our wedding. He plays ALL music! He was very accommodating and easy to work with. He stuck to the agenda we create but also was flexible when we were force to deviate due to other venders. He was on time and very professional. He played everything we requested, so there was no stress for the bride and groom. He played music for the grandmas in the audience, the parents, the kids, and of course the bride and groom… so everyone had a BLAST! Having a professional DJ is what can make a wedding reception organized, seamless and fun for the attendees. From start to finish our reception was the time of our lives and for our guest they would have to agree because after 7 hours of «DJ dancing fun» we had to force them to go home! His photo booth was a hit at the wedding too, we hd so much fun with it, barney had a good variety of props & the pictures came out really good.

Elmer MADE my party! He asked me to provide him with a few ideas or CD’s or suggestions and I could only come up with a few as I was so pressed for time. But he knew EXACTLY what to do and kept us dancing the entire night. Everyone thoroughly loved the party and especially the music! It can make or break your party and Elmer DEFINITELY made it!!! HIGHLY recommend him! AND he brings lights and a caring attitude and takes requests. Just great!

DJ Barney is one of few DJ’s I know with exceptional skills and great service. I own a party rental & DJ Company, Our Company hires DJ Barney to cover for us when we are double booked for events. This review is not about a onetime service experience. This review is about the more than 20 times DJ Barney has been hired by our company to perform on multiple weddings, corporate events and private parties. He is always on time and ready to rock the crowd. Not only is DJ Barney one of our exclusive DJ’s, He also DJ for my wedding as well. I got married on November 30^th 2013 and DJ Barney was my first choice, After all, my company uses him constantly to perform on various private events. DJ Barney made my wedding a total success; he works very well under pressure and always with a smile. His prices are supper affordable and I would definitely recommend dj Barney for your next event.

I’ve also used other DJ’s but ever since July 23,2011 (my wedding).
He is the only DJ I recommend to my family and friends.
Not to mentioned he was also the M.C. at my wedding … he def. kept EVERYONE entertained.
What I like about BARNEY, If you are requesting a song and he does not have it, he will make the time to obtain it. I’ve come a cross DJ’s that told me, the song I’m requesting is not in there playlist and so i’m «S.O.L.»
BARNEY is willing to meet you half ways to satisfy you, that it self MEANS A LOT.
I can honestly consider BARNEY «my family DJ» :)

I’ve used other DJ’s in the past and DJ Barney is by far the best one I’ve ever hired which I even hired him for my wedding as an M.C. He even made our surprise mix cd for our surprise dance. I would gladly recommend DJ Barney to everyone.
