We moved here from out of state. I have never dealt with a less professional administration. Some teachers are great, but many are ineffective, unresponsive and downright rude and borderline abusive with the kids. Repeated attempts at communication with administration are either ignored or dismissed with form-type replies. I’ve talked to many people who say they have shared my experience. My kids are discouraged and frustrated and struggling. And all we’ve been met with is apathy and blame. Please, don’t bother.

I don’t know how this school does not have more Unilocal reviews. The office administration is horrible. Sowers needs a STRONG, POSITIVE, LEADERSHIP, which is currently non-existent. Between Shari, Jackie, the assistant principal Tardiff and principal Guerrero … don’t know why they are working with children. They got to go. Do yourself a favor and run as far as you can from this school until they get pleasant, positive employees.

Sowers has no money. I went there all three years 6 – 8 grade. It sucks, the teachers are assholes, I’m glad I graduated that hell hole
