Huntington Christian School is a K-​8 private school located in Huntington Beach, CA. The school provides a Christ-​centered academic education, connecting students to God and establishing values for Christian growth. We offer a caring and safe learning environment along with before and after extended day care.

History

Established in 1981.

HCS was created as a ministry of First Christian Church (FCC) of Huntington Beach.

As FCC continued to reach out and meet the needs of the community the idea of starting a school was formed. In September 1981, HCS opened its doors on the FCC campus at Main and Adams.

In September 2002, HCS moved to our current seven acre campus, which we lease from the Huntington Beach City School District.

Over the years the buildings have changed, but HCS and FCC continue to share the same mission — leading people to recklessly follow Jesus.
