History

Established in 1998.

West Coast Trends, Inc. (WCT) was founded in 1990 by avid surfer and golfer: Jeffrey Herold. Scissors in hand, Jeff decided to cut up his wetsuit, and develop a line of premium neoprene golf club head covers, which he named Club Glove. The Club Glove putter covers quickly became popular with golfers across every level.

With the success of the Club Glove product line, Jeff began flying lessons. As he became comfortable in the cockpit, he realized his existing eyewear was not functional in that environment. In 1998, the first pair of Scheyden Sunglasses were designed.

Years of steady growth, increasing sales, and our company-​wide commitment to Outstanding Quality and Excellent Customer Service have Scheyden poised to become a major player in the Precision Eyewear field.
