When the buckle on my favorite over-​the-​knee boots broke, I couldn’t even figure out where the actual break was. I took them into this shop and they had fixed the boot buckle and given the boots new heels in three short days. Since the boots themselves were rather pricey I was scared how much they would be to fix. I was even more surprised when it was only $ 25! Lovely couple and great customer service.

The couple that runs this place are so cute! They have pictures of all the races they’ve run which is pretty impressive considering that they’re not that young. But back on topic, I’ve been bringing all my old shoes here and for less than $ 10 a pop I’ve been able to salvage my shoes for an extra year. So far I’ve only needed the heels repaired and some shine to my old faded black pumps but boy, what a difference they’ve made! Such an unassuming place with great service.

Love this place! I have taken at least half a dozen Cole Haan shoes to be rehealed at Modern Shoe Repair. They do an impeccable job and at a very reasonable cost. The last pair of sandals I took in they charged $ 10 and that included tending to the slightly damaged leather around the heal. They look as good as new.
