Established in 1999.

Patricia founded this business in 1999 in Huntington Beach. She has grown the practice to three (3) attorneys and two (2) paralegals in the intervening years.

I must say that I have grown allergic to attorneys. However, Patricia Hendrickson is a diamond in the sea of mediocrity. I cannot tell you how helpful that she has been to me over the period of time that I have come to know her. She is so helpful, responsive, and obtained the result I needed. Being a father, I did not think it would be possible to get full physical custody of my two younger children when my ex moved out of state but she was able to make that a reality for me!
In addition, when I needed continued legal assistance she has been with me every step of the way.
I cannot tell you how grateful I am to her for all of her help and to the entire legal team at Hendrickson, Cooper, and Hughes!
They simply are the best! Thanks Pat!

Find it very convenient that they offer helpful free case evaluation over the phone and not just in person, which is a great way to dodge Orange County traffic during the rush hours. After the consultation, all decisions are made in the best interest of the client. Their friendly & consultative style turns a negative situation into a positive experience.

Patricia «Pat» Hendrickson is one of the most knowledgeable attorneys on the planet when it comes to Family Law! I was amazed how much more she knows, compared to the other lawyers I interviewed before filing for divorce. Her presence in court was amazing… all the other lawyers knew her, and it was clear that she was the top matriarch of the Orange County Superior Court. I felt so protected and cared for.
Patricia Hendrickson and Associates, which is now HCH (Hendrickson Cooper Hughes) have an all-​pro staff… Kat, their paralegal, was so amazingly helpful in walking me through the mountain of paperwork that comes with a complex divorce case like mine.
As for cost… this firm is not the cheapest nor the most expensive… but when your life savings, your house and your children are on the line… you should be looking for the best, and Pat Hendrickson, Tami Cooper, and Arelis Hughes are a trifecta of legal power!

I gave 5 stars not because everything went perfectly (which I now realize is impossible in our complex legal system), but because of the integrity of Ms. Hendrickson. The first time I met with her I liked her right away. She is sharp and really knows her stuff. I felt like she really listened to my story and understood exactly where I was coming from. That’s not to say that I didn’t have some issues now and then. But whenever I did I was able to talk to someone and work it out. Ms. Hendrickson talked with me several times to make sure things were going well and to straighten out any issues or questions I had. She was always very fair. The whole staff is very professional. Even at the end of my case, she, and her office manager Tami, asked me in to review any issues I had to determine if/​where they could improve. They truly listened to me and were interested in what I had to say. I think that says a lot.
Just be prepared up front. I’ve learned that, more than likely, your case is going to cost more and take longer than you think. It’s the same for everyone. Attorneys aren’t cheap (at least not the good ones).
If you need a family law attorney, I would definitely recommend you at least meet with Ms. Hendrickson. I think you’ll see what I mean.

When I went through my divorce, Patricia was the first and only attorney that I had met with. I knew from the beginning she was the attorney for me. She is compassionate, understanding, PATIENT, she knew and understood, exactly what I was going through. Her professional staff, very helpful as well. Pat was always there if and when I had any questions (which was quite often).

I was referred to Pat Hendrickson. I met with her as well as three other firms. I immediately felt like somebody really cared about what really matters in my situation and that was my children. She explained the reality of what I was about to get in to and to assure me, we will get through it as quickly as possible. I have 3 teens and full custody. I never felt like just a client with this law firm. And my divorce was not a high profile one either. I must say what also impressed me was watching and hearing the other attorneys in the court halls show their admiration and respect for Pat Hendrickson and her team. I did not see that with other lawyers roaming the courthouse. It spoke volumes as far as I was concerned. If you have kids involved in your upcoming divorce, then you can’t make a better decision then to go with this law firm.

Had a very unpleasant experience with this firm. They will charge you for every little thing they do, which was not much… Including charging me hundreds of dollars for sending letters to remind me to get some documents back to them when a simple call or email would have sufficed. When I asked them to refund me the balance of my retainer they charged me $ 105 for me to get my money back… Avoid like the plague!!!
