I was going to this place for an year now and never was disappointed. All girls are very knowledgeable and friendly, facility is clean and nice. I’ve got many facials, brows and lashes tinting and corrections, and completely happy with the results. Girls are the real experts in beauty and always advice me what procedure to get and what to use to make me look perfect. Love this place, always go here for any beauty needs, even I had to take a long ride.

Shelbi was awesome and suggested sugaring vs. waxing. So happy she did! It was twice and fast and less painful! Already booked my next session! Thank you!

It was my first time getting a spray tan and Shelbi walked me through the process from start to finish. She’s really easy going to talk to, making me feel comfortable and at ease while she sprayed me.
The medium color tan was exactly what I was looking for. Although it did fade after some time, it was alright because I just wanted to start off looking tan and gradually get a natural tan where I was heading to.
They have other services as well which I’ll look more into should I come across to that. Definitely recommend this place to check out!

Super neat and chic place. I went for facial sugaring for the first time and the process was pretty simple. The place is clean and it smells delicious and natural. The first thing I noticed when I walked in, was that the offer ViPeel, a clinical grade peel that I get at the dermatologist office for about twice the price. Needless to say, I will be going back for that. Their facial menu prices are competitive, so I will try my next facial there. Glad to have found this place.

So this was my first time getting a spray tan so I was a little nervous. I had used a self tanner before and I turned out super dark and orange. So I was a little hesitant… But I saw the reviews on this place and I was like okay, let’s try it. I’m going to Vegas and I wanted to look super glowy and tan for those Vegas pool parties. When I came in I was greeted by Jessica Howard my tanning guru. So when I initially got spray tanned right after I looked so DARK. I was freaking out because I looked body builder dark. But she assured me that it was just the bronzer in the tanning solution but once I take a shower it will be all even and a lot lighter. So I waited the recommended 6 hours and I rinsed my body off with just water like she told me to and my tan looked SO pretty. I looked very bronzed but not overly bronzed and my skin was all even. It was perfect. It was exactly what I wanted. Definitely coming back here again if I need another spray tan.

It was my first time getting any type of waxing and I decided to get bikini surging. It was over all a great experience! It didnt hurt nearly as much as i expected and there was no pain or irritation following the treatment. I plan to keep up with the treatment and highly recommend it!

Always come here for spray tans! The girls here always do an amazing job. I got my first bikini sugaring and the experience was very comfortable. I prefer the sugaring over the waxing, less painful! Sara and Shelby are amazing highly recommend them. They made me look beautiful for my wedding day and honeymoon.

There’s a first time for everything, and I am so fortunate I found Healthy Beautiful Skin and Tan and had my first Spray Tanning session. Suzanne took excellent care of me. She made me feel at ease as its not easy to stand there in the nude in front of a total stranger. Her professionalism and expertise made this experience a memorable one. Her work was impeccable and flawless. I have received so many compliments regarding my tan as it looks like I’ve been living in the beach under the sun for hours. I am so HAPPY. Before my honeymoon, I decided I was going to get my first Brazilian sugaring done. And thank goodness I came here!!! To say the least I was super nervous about how painful it was going to be and if it was going to be awkward having someone down there with a spot light and sugar/wax…BUT! I was super fortunate and had Susanne as my esthetician. Susanne made me super comfortable and has such a friendly demeanor that I almost forgot I wasn’t wearing anything from the waste down (Ha!). She was as thorough with the job without dragging the process out any longer than it needed to be and I was SUPER happy with the results (the whole thing took maybe 20 min MAX).
I’m not going to say that the whole thing was painless (because when is ripping hair out ever?), but as someone who has very fair skin and a low pain tolerance for most things, I totally plan to upkeep and come back to Susanne.
She did a great job at keeping me comfortable, giving me breaks if/​when I needed them, all while keeping up conversation that helped me to take my mind off of the task at hand. Before it was all said and done, she had double checked her work to make sure nothing was missed, made sure I was comfortable and happy with the results, as well as made sure that I knew the ‘at home’ care for my skin.
If you’re nervous about getting any sugaring or waxing done I HIGHLY recommend coming here and asking for Susanne, especially if its your first time. The service, I thought, was reasonably priced (I think it was about $ 60, but there is also a Unilocal coupon for 15% off) and totally worth EVERY penny. Hope this helps!

Let me start off by saying this is my first experience with sugaring… And Jessica made it a wonderful one! I had a horrendous experience with waxing and was a little apprehensive to try the Brazilian sugaring but thought I would give it a go.
.amazing. Hardly felt any pain, and I’m not sore afterwards! Decided to get my underarms done as well! Go see Jessica! You won’t be disappointed!

I loved my spray tan with Shelbi! Considering this was my first spray tan, Shelbi was informative, detail-​orientated, sweet, and overall amazing!

Their store/​studio is located in an industrial area, which is mildly strange. However, it is not difficult at all to find their location. They’re located inside Argosy Court on the 2^nd floor. After you walk through the front entrance, you enter a courtyard and walk up the stairs. It’s an immediate left (through a door) once you reach the 2^nd floor. After you enter the door, which is labeled with their storefront name, you sorta follow a narrow hallway until the end, where you reach their cozy and well-​decorated studio.
Service — 5++/5
I entered the studio, she greeted me warmly, asked me my color preferences, and then directed me into a room to change. You have the option to go all naked or wear a disposable bandeau/​undie (which she provides). Once you make your decision, you enter another room, where you wait for Shelbi to come in and spray tan you. I cannot rave enough about Shelbi. She makes you feel so comfortable during the entire process and talks to you like she would any other friend. You pose in all these silly poses while she sprays you, and in 10 – 15 minutes, you’re done! Shelbi also noticed that I had my nails done, so she took a wet wipe and cleaned all my nails and toenails too! After you finish spraying, you then go back to your changing room to fan dry for 5 minutes.

A single spray tan is $ 38. However, they do have a Unilocal promotion: $ 20 for $ 35 worth of service. In the end, I only paid $ 23 + tip, which is ridiculously great! Not to mention that I actually booked my appointment with Shelbi only a few hours prior to my appointment, which made it even more fantastic.
Tan — 5++/5
Honestly, I did not think spray tans could look as good as it was when Shelbi spray tanned me. I’m a fairly light skin Asian gal, so I went for medium, which is the PERFECT color for me. When you first get the spray tan, it will look A LOT DARKER than what you might prefer because there is bronzer in Shelbi’s spray tan mix. However, once you shower (8+ hours later), all the bronzer washes away, and you get your nice, LIGHTER tan color. Also, Shelbi tells you to avoid contact with water at all cost, but 2 hours after I got sprayed, I accidentally spilled some water on my shirt, which went onto my stomach area. You get this splotchy area, where it looks completely white in comparison to the rest of your body because the bronzer washed off. I panicked, which was completely unnecessary because once I showered 8 hours later, my skin color was completely even. In case you’re wondering, my tan lasted approximately 1 and ½ week. It also fades away evenly, which is a plus.

My visit went very well. I was greeted immediately by Shelbi and the waiting room was so nice and relaxing I probably could have fallen asleep with the soothing music. I got the Brazilian sugaring for the first time and I liked it! It didn’t hurt as much as a regular wax and its easier to get any leftover sugar stuff off than regular wax. Shelbi was very nice and easy to talk to throughout the whole appointment. I used the $ 20 for $ 35 coupon which I got off from Unilocal which was such a good deal for my first visit. They also do 10% off if you regularly come in and if your visits are within 6 weeks of each other.

Brazilian sugaring is virtually painless in comparison to the traditional wax. The estheticians here are soo accommodating, patient, guide you and most importantly professional. Kept nearly germ free. Great new addition to HB and those that love a great Brazilian. This is the spot! Get sugared. Check in with Unilocal and reep the benefits.

Ok can I just say AGAIN how amazing SHELBI is??? After my first experience with her, i tried another studio closer to my house, and I was traumatized by how painful it was! So I thought: NEVER AGAIN.
But because of an upcoming photo shoot, I decided to give Brazillian sugaring one more shot, so I went back to HBST and Shelbi. Oh my goodness– it was soooo amazing!!! The worst part wasn’t even that bad, we were talking about so many things I barely even registered the pain, and then… I was done! She uses such soft, natural, amazing products that I’m confident my skin will stay beautiful! I’m soooo glad I came back! I’m even happier that a location opened up in Fullerton so it’ll be easier for me to do this more regularly! Thanks Shelbi!!!

Just got done with my facial appointment with Jessica and I have to agree with all the other fellow Unilocalers, she’s pretty awesome! I got the deep pore cleansing facial and cleansing I got!
FACIAL:
Jessica was very informed and spent a great deal of time to help me understand how to improve my skin. During the extraction, she asked me questions to keep me talking and my mind off of the pain. I should mention that it was painful only because I’m a big wuss.
PLACE:
It was a little hard to find but just park in the front, go to the courtyard and up the stairs. You’ll see a sign for their spa. It’s very cute and clean inside. They have coffee, tea, snacks, mints… so help yourself.
PRICE:
With the Unilocal deal, it was well worth it! Normally it’s $ 75 for a facial. You really also get your money’s worth because Jessica does take the time to really take care of your skin. Also, if you come in every 6 weeks (or less) then they’ll always take 10% off your service.
I’ll be coming back for sure!

After a few years of shying away from Brazilian waxes, I finally decided to suck it up and try sugar waxing with Healthy Beautiful Skin and Tan. After coming to Sarah for 2 months, it’s time for a golden review.
Sugar waxing is a method of removing hair using sugar wax instead of the traditional wax. It is more sanitary and does not pull at your skin. Instead, the wax grips only the hairs that you want removed. The perks of sugar waxing, for me personally, was that the pain was much less than that of traditional waxing.
Sarah, the owner, is a great esthetician. I really appreciate that she takes the time to explain the process of what she’s doing down at my nether regions and also the post care of the procedure. Besides from being professional, Sarah is also extremely sweet and punctual. My past two appointments have been on point to the minute with her.
Healthy Beautiful Skin and Tan is located in an office-​like complex. Once you park at the front of the building, you will see a sign leading you upstairs to their studio. Book an appointment online for easy scheduling and go get those unwanted hairs removed!
I will be coming back to Sarah at HBST for a long time to come. Yay for no unnecessary hair!

Found this place online and booked from there website with Jessica. The booking payment workflow is pretty modern, I like that, time saving. You book online and then got an email to confirm that you are coming. And after the visit, receipt goes to the email.
And I really like Jessica, she never tried to sell me other services, saying I need this or that. Instead, she simply gave me the facial I wanted.
And her skill is very neat and good. Massage during facial. And extraction feels thorough. And the product she used is very good smelling and relaxing. Really enjoyed the experience.
One thing I don’t like is the lady before me took longer, so my service time is actually around 60 minutes instead of 75 :(Since it feels good to be pampered, it’s sad that it’s shorter: p

First of all, my tan turned out AMAZINGGGGGGGGG!!! Considering I am usually on the average-​a-​little-​thicker side, my tanned made me look a lot skinnier and better. I looked fabulous in Vegas (see picture) and I loved the million of pictures I took at the day club! Why not right? ;)
HOWEVER, the only thing I didn’t like was I really wished the person who sprayed tan me, Sarah? Would’ve looked at my spray afterwards to see if she can potentially see any flaws or anything missing. It was more of in-​and-​out, express service tan. I had some minor flaws (see picture)
I’ll still come back, but I would have to ask her to please over look me AFterwards !
