Thankful I found such a great dental office. The whole experience was a good one from the front office to the dental exam and cleaning. The office is clean. The Dr and staff are friendly and knowlegable.

If you truly fear going to the dentist you need to visit Dr. Johnson. He will make sure you are comfortable and not surprise you at all. If you need extractions go here. This dentist’s office is top notch. They treat everyone like they’re the last customer in the world. Lisa is great, probably the best hygienist I’ve been too.
If you have had a bad experience with your regular dentist, or just need a second opinion Dr. Johnson is your «go to guy.»

Just switched to Dr. Johnson after being with my previous dentist for 10+ years. Wish I would have done this years ago! Staff makes you feel special. Always on time. Quick and efficient. Previous dentist would come in and out of your room… jumping between patients. Dr, Johnson does not do that. Makes the procedures go by much faster!

If you need a good dentist that’s not trying to be a salesman, this is your doctor! Professional and courteous Dr. awesome staff! The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because they can really use some more updated equipment.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Johnson for about a year. They all make me feel like they truly care about me and my well-​being. I’m not just another appointment. They feel like a home town kind of place.

Ever since I left my old dentist and my Hygienist recommended Dr Johnson I wont go anywhere else. Dr «J» rocks along with his staff and Tracy who’s been cleaning my teeth for over 15 years.

I absolutely love this office and the staff. I went here after having a negative experience at another local dentistry and have been a patient here for 5 years. I have always recommended them to anyone who lives in the area. They are very thorough and make sure everything is okay between visits. Even when I was pregnant, they made sure my teeth got extra care to ensure the safety of my baby. When I go in for my visits, they always ask about my daughter. They definitely treat you like family and are interested in one’s wellbeing.

First class dental care. Love the people and the dentist is ok to. Just kidding he does a great job and his prices are very reasonable. Did my wife’s lower jaw pulled and replaced and she is very happy with his work.

I have been coming to Dr. Johnson for almost 5 years now and am extremely happy here. Prior to finding this office I was changing offices every 6 months because I either felt like I was getting ripped off (pushing sales) or I wasn’t getting a quality cleaning. At one office I had a dental assistant, not hygienist, floss my teeth and buff it. That was what they considered a cleaning. Not only that, I was almost guilted into buying a $ 300 toothbrush!
This office is located in the back of the shopping center. It is a small office with ample parking. When you walk in you will totally get that good, hygienic, dental office smell. There is a television is every room and tropical light covers to set a relaxing mood. The staff is very friendly, so much so, that I became best friends with my hygienist. True story.
What my hygienist friend tells me is that your insurance pays for a full hours cleaning and Dr. Johnson encourages the hygienist to clean for that full hour. Some offices want you in and out for a higher turnover and more money.
The very first visit, 5 years ago, is what set the tone for me. They did x-​rays right off the bat and measured my gums as well. In all my years, no office has ever measured my gums! After my cleaning, I told Dr. Johnson about wanting to extract my wisdom tooth. Dr. Johnson is not an oral surgeon but provided me with a list of referrals. He also told me to ask my insurance and friends for referrals to ensure that I felt like I was getting the best oral surgeon/​deal possible. I loved that he didn’t push his referrals like he was getting a kick-​back if I went. Also, at the end of my cleaning, Dr. Johnson recommended that I used an electronic toothbrush. I thought in my head, «oh here we go, another scammer!» He said they offered some good ones in the office but they were a bit pricey and that if wanted similar quality and a better price tag to go to Wal-​Mart for the Oral B ones.
I always look forward to my 6 month visits. Dr. Johnson checks out your teeth and shakes your hand after every visit. You will have your gums measured every year. What a great place and what a great guy!

This is the best dentist I have ever been to! From the front office to the hygienists to the dentist, everyone is fabulous. Great customer service and a super comfortable office environment. Watch TV while your teeth are cleaned!

After horrible experiences with other dentists, this dentist has come to the rescue for my family. The mere fact I can get my family to willingly go to the dentist speaks volumes. Also, he has had to correct some «bad» work from my former «hack dentist». We love the staff and the dentist here. If my insurance ever stopped covering him, he would be worth paying cash because he is honest and proficient at his skills. Never have we been «up sold» anything here. This office only takes PPOs, and I have found that it is cheaper paying the better insurance and not having any «extra» charges sold to you compared to when I had the cheaper insurance. I know exactly what the charges are and their statements always match my statements to the penny. Besides, you can’t beat the quality work and proficient staff. Dr. Johnson and staff are the best and we are so glad we found them. (We have been going here for almost 3 years now).

I love Dr. Johnson and his entire staff. Due to a fear of the dentist for many years, neglect had left me with an obscene amount of dental work to be done to get back in shape. The long and sometimes very painful process has been made so much more tolerable due to the kindness and care of everyone involved. Not only is Dr. Johnson kind but also very skilled. All of work he has done is always done right the first time! He is fairly priced and I highly recommend him.

I first met Dr. Johnson while he was working at another dentists office. He took an impression for a crown and when I went back for him to install it, he wasn’t happy with the fit and sent it back and started all over. Dr Johnson really puts patient care first and when I needed a dentist again I went out of my way to find his office.

I just changed insurance carriers so that I can come back to Dr. Johnson. The insurance is costing me more, but I’m so glad to have a dentist I can trust again.

This dentist was a recommendation by another physician who is a friend of mine and went to school with Dr. Johnson. Had a cavity that was filled a few months ago by my usual dentist only to still have pain/​sensitivity in the same area. My old dentist charged an arm and a leg, and was 1 hour away so I couldn’t deal with seeing her again. Went to see Dr. Johnson — he immediately identified the problem (cavity filling needed to be filed down) and gently filed away. Very humble, sweet physician and friendly staff. Office is a bit older– still with charts (no electronic records) no digital x ray– but it didn’t matter because he fixed my problem and I am so happy I went to him.
Location is interesting– rear side of a strip mall in Huntington Harbor. Plenty of free parking which was nice.
Will recommend him to others.

Dr. Johnson has been my family dentist for about 10 years. He has always been very caring and professional. And his office staff is great. My son even LIKES to go to the dentist, and that says a lot about his abilities.
I’ve referred many people to him and always they come back to me with glowing reviews. The man is fair and kind you won’t find a better dentist.

I’ve known Dr. Johnson since college. Back then, he was just the guy who was dating a good friend of mine. Fast-​forward to now, and they’re happily married and he runs his own dental practice in H.B.
Since Dr. Johnson (or Greg, as I prefer to call him) isn’t just my dentist but also a close friend, I could be considered a tad biased. But here’s why you should listen to me anyway. For one, I’m a horrible liar. And for another, Dr. Johnson is great at what he does. He’s the kind of guy who’s not just in it for the money; he’s truly passionate about being a dentist. In other words, he’s not going to try to talk you into a bunch of unnecessary fillings and other expensive dental work if you don’t truly need it.
He may not have an office that’s all tricked out like a flashy nightclub, but he’s a dentist, not a DJ. If you’re looking for all flash and no substance, maybe this isn’t the place for you. But if you’re looking for a professional, efficient office and a dentist who’s honest, caring and just an all-​around nice guy, give Dr. Johnson a call. I’ve been going to him since he first opened his practice, and I’ve referred several family members and friends to him too. And thanks to Dr. Johnson, we all have really nice teeth.
