Proud owners, Bryan and Fabi Ackerman, have been bringing Games2U to Southern California since 2009. They are the parents of two boys and understand the challenges faced by other parents when trying to plan a memorable birthday party for their children. This combined with their experience in running other businesses, they have been able to provide an exceptional experience to our customers in the mobile entertainment industry. The Ackerman’s enjoy putting smiles on customer’s faces, and find it rewarding when a parent tells them their child had the best birthday ever! Although we did not choose to go with this company, or any mobile game company, I wanted to write about the customer service. Bryan was great at reaching out to me through phone and email. He was very diligent in his efforts to connect with me. I think that is a great quality to have when you are running a business and I really appreciate that in a company. I definitely will keep these guys in mind for future parties.

We had the Laser Tag Party for my sons 9th birthday on Friday, Sept. 4th, 2015 in the late afternoon and held it in our cul-​de-​sac. I asked my neighbors ahead of time to clear the cul-​de-​sac, so no car interruptions for 2 hours as well! It was the perfect party that kept the kids (both boys and girls) active and never a dull moment. No problems with the kids dropping the guns in the street which the owner was afraid of. The attendant from Games 2 U was super helpful the whole time and the kids really enjoyed it. So much better than the kids just sitting in a game truck the whole time. I was lucky that it wasn’t hot outside this one day though… would have been a disaster if 90 degrees out like right now!

Girls and laser tag? YOU BET!
My daughter had a multi-​themed party (with Hunger Games as one of them), and I thought this might be a fun addition to her sleepover. She agreed.
On the day of the party, I was a little skeptical about the girls playing laser tag, and wondered if I should have gotten the gaming truck or maybe I should have done something more girlie. I was wrong! The girls LOVED laser tag!
We decided to set it up in the back yard and use the driveway and side of the house too. It was perfect because the adults could lounge around inside the house, while the girls played outside. They ALL had a great time, and totally got into it, and it was wonderful to see them running around and getting some exercise while they played! The girls came up with code names for each other and even the dads got into it as team leaders. It was good daddy-​daughter bonding. We had to pull the guns out of their hands when it was time for pizza and cake.
This review would not be complete without a special shout out to Joe, our game coach. He is a natural with kids and made it so much fun for all of them. He didn’t sit by and watch but was totally active the whole time and brought good energy to the party. He shouted out team readiness and helped them with strategies. Added bonus were the great stories he told while some of the parents were outside. Joe was what really made this an exciting and memorable event. I would definitely request him by name.
Pro: Best party in a long time.
Con: I didn’t get to play! :(Maybe next time, someone else will host.

We had the Hamster Ball and Booger wars for my son’s 7th Birthday party at the park. Initially, the park officials did not want the Hamster Ball to be used at the park due to liability. But when I spoke to Brian, he said there will be 2 attendants supervising the games the whole time, so we were able to used the hamster ball.
Let me tell you, the 2 guys that Brian sent (sorry, I forgot their names) were fantastic!
They showed up 15 minutes early to set up and started right on the dot. The kids were so excited as soon as they saw the truck come! They had lots of fun on both games. Games 2U really made my son’s birthday so special. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again!

This company is amazing. great customer service on the phone. Rented 2 hamster balls for a birthday party. It was a HIT. they came early to set up, equipment was clean. the guys in charge helped the kids and were very engaging. definitely recommend this company!

Accidentally created two accounts, deleting my other so here is this review again:
We were planning a surprise party for our sons 13th birthday and contacted this company! We decided on a game truck and laser tag. I wish that we added the hamster balls as I think it would’ve been a success but oh well next time. After having to change the date due to spring break conflicts Brian totally worked with us to make it all happen. They had a big carnival the same day as our party so there was scheduling conflict for them. Thank goodness Brian was willing to help us and so was his employee. The boys all fit in the truck (we had a lot of them!) and they loved playing games, even just dance. The lazer tag was super fun for them as well! We actually had the party at the park which worked out great as the city has this companies permit on file! The boys loved playing lazer tag from the trees and all! Thank you thank you for helping make the party a success!

Had a laser tag birthday party for our 8 year old son at a park. He and his friends had a blast! The parents even got into it. The coaches were terrific. They were energetic, helpful and great with the kids. The booking process was so easy and Bryan was very accommodating. Customer service at its best. We will definitely use this company again.

My 5th grade son and his friends had a blast! The party ran super smoothly and the kids were running around until the were exhausted. The team Bryan sent was excellent. Joe and Victor took the time to get to know the kids names and made
sure to manage the party so I got to enjoy myself watching. I highly recommend this company and the game Booger Wars.

Games2U brought two hours of laser tag to our back yard for maybe 15 kids… and kept them going the whole time! They did not want to stop! Everyone had a great time, and a few parents said they were thinking about Games2U for their upcoming parties.
Joe was on time, and had everything he needed. The equipment worked great. I couldn’t have asked for better!

We booked Games2U for our elementary school festival. I cannot say enough about the level of service and how easy they made it. The pricing was more than fair considering we booked a bit late and they agreed to be there the entire 2 ½ hour block. The kids loved the game and the staff was great with the kids. I would HIGHLY recommend Bryan and his people. A truly wonderful experience!

These guys are outstanding! We had the gaming van at my brother’s party over the weekend. The thing was jammed packed with excited friends and games were non stop running ! Such a blast! And the worker was such a pleasure and very helpful/​nice. Wish I caught his name to give a shout out! wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I met Games2U at the downtown HB street whatever it is– 4 produce booths don’t make it a farmer’s market– but it’s fun whatever they call it.
These GENIUSES have a tricked-​out Benz van equipped with ALL of the latest and most popular video gaming systems and games. On these nights in HB, you can dump your kids there, and for $ 3, they can play unlimited games until you decide to go get them. Score!
They do parties and community events. I don’t know anything about their pricing schedule, but it’s a great idea. The inside holds something like 6 to 8 players at once, and RockBand and Wii are set up on the outside.
