Can’t believe I found a hidden burger place that actually beats in n out, talk about diamond in the rough! Never would have ever eaten here if it weren’t for my roommate to suggest as a post-Costco shopping meal since the plaza it’s located in is very hidden and never knew it existed until now. Fairly small but nice laid back vibe. I’m not sure which burger I got b/c my roommate ordered for us, but it was freakin delicious. Every part of that burger was perfect: fresh ingredients, thick, juicy patty, and most importantly, killer buns. The drinks are freshly made and really refreshing. And last but not least, the workers are very sweet! WATCHOUT5 Guys /Habit, FUJI’S COMINTHROUGH! =)

Fuji Famous Burgers and so much more is a cornerstone here in the community. My children and I have enjoyed good service and AWESOME food for more than 20 years. This establishment is a MUST try when in town. if you can’t find it ask any local they’ll know and point you in the right direction… really a consistent delight to eat here… really

This place is . Grabbed some teriyaki beef burritos with Kevin Ly and B Jax(OG Brandon Jackson). We added avocado and fried rice inside because it’s a must. These burritos are dank. Straight up only $ 7 for a massive filling burrito. Make sure to grab sriracha and add it to every bite. It adds a nice kick to the beef and fried rice. You gotta check this place out if you’re looking for a great priced stuffing burrito.

Unilocal friend Brak used to rave about this place all the time. So here we were in the Huntington Beach area and we made a special trip to the little mall it’s located in. I had the Avocado Teriyaki Bacon Burger as well as a char siu taco. Decadent and delicious! Tiny little place was packed when we got there — way past regular lunch time on a Saturday and a steady stream of folks came and left the whole time we were there. Place is small and popular so expect a wait and possibly a wait for seating. Parking lot is big but there are a lot of other businesses in this mall so your mileage may vary. Northwest corner of Gothard and Edinger.

Fuji’s is a cute little restaurant decked out in a Hawaiian theme. It looked like it would be a solid choice for lunch, due to the volume of high ratings. Alas, my experience was very underwhelming. — AVOCADOTERIYAKIBURGER($ 4.50, plus cheese $ 0.40): Patty was thin and very basic, and the bun was akin to the kind you’d buy in bulk for your family BBQ. There was barely any avocado, and the whole burger managed to get soggy from the teriyaki sauce while not tasting like teriyaki at all. I took it to go, but I ate it after 10 minutes of driving so… what gives? I ended up with a sub par, normal tasting burger. — FRIES($ 2.25 sm): Crinkle fries that tasted good. Why wouldn’t they? It’s a shame that they tout this burger as one of their signatures, because I did not enjoy any of it. They might be buying cheaper items to keep the prices low, which I totally understand… but if it comes at the cost of making a worse product, I’d rather pay a little more for the burger. It didn’t end up being that much cheaper anyway, since everything cost about $ 7. Adding pineapple would have been another dollar or so, which makes it as much as the bomb-diggity Hawaiian burger I had at The Pocket. It looks like their burritos might be good, but I personally did not care for the avocado teriyaki burger, and I feel like that is where they SHOULD excel, since it’s all in the name, ya’know? I’m usually excited to eat here because the food is dank as well as the customer service, but today was NOT the day. I entered knowing that I wanted the Avocado Teriyaki Burger, so I ordered it(and a side of fries). Not only was the cashier rude, but my order took a while to come out even though it was just 2 items. The burger itself seems drier than usual and my buns were soaked and soggy from their teriyaki sauce. And to top it off, I found a short curly hair in my fries. Overall, I was not satisfied :(

Not entirely sure what the hype is about at this place. The burger was just. Okay. It wasn’t bad, but surely nothing to rave about. The atmosphere is pretty cool, though. Staff was very friendly and warming. I don’t think I’d return, unfortunately.

This place is the best! The teriyaki burgers and tacos are sooooo good! My husband always gets the Bacon Avocado Teriyaki Burger and I usually stick with tacos. You can’t go wrong with those! The shop itself looks like it hasn’t been redecorated since the 70s, in a good way. The staff has always been polite and helpful. I usually call my orders in ahead of time. They are always ready when I arrive and are never wrong. If you want something different than just a regular burger, this is the place to go.

I guess the burger itself wasn’t too bad… It was the burger as a whole that was bad. Specifically the teriyaki burger. It was bad in the sense that it was drenched with teriyaki(you made it obvious that it’s a teriyaki burger). I guess someone must have complained it was not enough… Alas, they have forgotten my pineapple as well. Such is a non-teriyaki burger. It was wet, soggy and just a mess to eat and touch. Everything was just dripping out and the lettuce was soggy too. The bread was like a pile of mush that gunked up on the top of my palette. It was atrocious to eat. I definitely will never order such a thing again. I hope their avocado burger is not a mushed up soggy guacamole nacho either. If I ever came back it won’t be for their famous teriyaki burger.

We went there today to try a new burger place… We usually go to the pocket burger. We had an avocado teriyaki burger and the one with pineapple. In both, the patties appeared to be frozen, not fresh… Very disappointed. The teriyaki sauce is really good but because the meat wasn’t fresh, it didn’t taste as good.

This is an old school teriyaki burger joint that used to be commonplace in SoCal in the 70s and 80s that seems to be a rare sight now. They are known for their signature Avocado Teriyaki Bacon Burgers… sounds good to me. Lets try this place out and see… Oh damn… this burger is out of this world! So juicy and the bun is toasted just right. The bacon, avocado and slightly charred burger combo with teri sauce is excellent. Also loved the crispy fries. We are hooked.

Been coming here after class a lot this semester, as I go to school at goldenwest college. This restaurant is a nice little hole in the wall, tucked away in this quiet plaza. It really is a hidden gem. Their teriyaki burritos are immaculate. Choose between chicken or beef, steamed rice or fried rice, and top it off with avocado. The flavors of their food are great. And always served fresh. Service is friendly and helpful.

I’m updating my review after getting the teriyaki chicken tacos and spam masubi today. That was a very good meal. The place is still a little run down but the owners seem to have put some love into the place and fixed things up since I was here last. I’ll be back for those tacos and masubi!

Came here on a Friday afternoon and ordered a teriyaki beef burrito. Awesome! Not many people were here so service was polite and fast. The décor of the place is very local and homey. It’s definitely a «local place» and if I lived here I would be back and often. Only had the opportunity to try the teriyaki burrito and it was a solo shot homerun. Really good. Bonus points for being original. I hadn’t had a teriyaki burrito before. Slap on some sriracha and this thing is amazing. A must try if you are in the area!

Had the Fuji avocado bacon burger and asked for one of their drinks. Burger was ok, nothing special. Drink was some kind of lemonade(?) with ginger, pretty tasty actually. Really dug the drink a lot. So I’d go back to grab a drink but I think I’d pass on the food.

Fuji Fams, as I like to call it is one of those local joints that needs to start garnering regional acclaim. I wasn’t alive when they made the move to Huntington and only started going here about 9 years ago. Teri Beef and Charsiu Burrito with Avo, Fried rice and fried wontons and pineapple. Sometimes I’ll even throw in some spam if I feel like it. Double Avocado teriyaki burger with spam(swap bacon out) is another one I liked to order when I was drunk. It all started one drunk night I stumbled in here and fell in love. When you eat a teriyaki bowl you get to this certain point where there is a proper mixture of sauce, rice and meat that you can really shovel it away. I’d say this comes about ½ or 2⁄3 the way thru because the meat is always at the top, well the beauty of the burrito is you hit this magic moment right away. Your burrito bites are: meat, mixed meat & rice, rice, repeat. The rice is moist, the sauce is thick enough to coat, but thin enough to penetrate. The beef is especially tender. It’s off because most places sell way more chicken then beef, but not here. The pork takes on even more smokiness and crispy meatness. The tortilla could be better, but won’t fall apart on you. It’s filling, so beware. The burgers are what they are actually famous for, but I find their buns to be weak to the textures and weight of a large burger, which is why I no longer get the fried egg on it. Fresh ingredients, old school construction and classic flavors. They offer bacon, but have found that due to the Hawaiian background it’s best to get spam substitute which pairs even better with the teriyaki glaze. I’ve found a single teriyaki bacon burger goes really well with the grilled pineapple, but not so much with the avo. The onion rings are so crispy they kind of destroy the burger if you put on it, over seasoned usually. Sandwiches are great on the Aremenian bread which is totally unique to the area. The sesame dressing is great on their salads and you have to get the onion rings, super old school. The potato salad is more traditional side dish for the island flair, but the wontons are what makes me happy. I eat and order them like French fries and even get them in my burritos for a nice crispy pocket of warm cheese. I prefer the crab because the beef is overpowering in a beef dish. Love the spinach salads as they really emphasize it, thought I prefer the sesame dressing and sans capers. Beef Teriyaki fries have taken popularity with the carne asada craze in the 90’s, but I get it without the lettuce and with hot sauce. Not as spectacular as it sounds. Probably because the fries are hit or miss and it’s not a polished menu item. Like Taco rice in Okinawa, a bit of a monstrosity. It’s a small family run and family friendly join where you can feel the love. Service is good and they usually accommodate the crazy requests I have. They are big on sauce and I’ve even seen people just get a large order of rice and their famous fuji teriyaki sauce for dinner. Or maybe they were vegetarians. They have plenty of sriracha which pairs well with their teriyaki sauce. Now that I look back on all the history me and this place have I’ll always hold it near and dear, though I have been frequenting their 2nd location in FV. Cheap, filling, not healthy food, but it’s classic.

I came here because I heard that the teriyaki burgers are amazing, but I have yet to try that here. One day. I think that the burritos here are amazing! Add avocado. I’ve had the teriyaki beef and chicken, both very good. You get the choice of white rice or fried rice. You can never go wrong with fried rice. I will come back to try the burgers.

When I was first introduced to Fuji’s Famous Burger, I seriously ate here for the next three days. I fell in LOVE with their teriyaki beef burrito. The delicious mix of teriyaki sauce, cheese, rice, and beef totally got me hooked. And I’ve been a fan ever since! I stop by here every once in a while when I’m in the area. Although I wish they didn’t close so early. Thumbs up for their spam musubi and burgers. I also love their crab cream cheese wontons. Even though I’d definitely have to hit the gym after eating a whole bag of them each time… And everything here tastes good with sriracha! This place looks like it’s been open for many decades, but don’t let that turn you away because their food definitely does not disappoint. You can call in for pick up orders. They take credit cards. And there’s plenty of parking.

Very laid back restaurant. We ordered sweet potatoe fries and teriyaki bacon burger. $ 4.50 + $.40 for cheese and $ 2.75 for sweet. You pay and order at the counter and they call your name sort of restaurant. The burger patties were very very thin 1⁄6 lb, and I regretted not ordering an extra pattie($ 1.25). I think I would have given this place a 5 star if it wasn’t for the thin patties. I will be trying their teriyaki burrito next time Overall, i love the atmosphere. If you are looking for standard classic burgers with teriyaki twist to it, I’d recommend it.
