Honestly, just be careful with these guys. They really do seem to operate like a hotel, in the sense that they overbook and if you’re one of the people that gets booted, they could careless about what you are able to do. I’m pretty sure if you’re doing an expensive move, you’ll have a great chance of getting them to show up, but since ours was a local move for only a few hours, they probably figured they’d rather use the truck and time on a more expensive job.
The Okay: I used them 2 years ago to move from Westminster to Garden Grove. They didn’t call to confirm or anything so it was a bit scary, but they did show up. They’re really reasonably priced compared to the other guys, but they show up and have no tools or wardrobe boxes, which we expressly requested. They just said «Sorry, we were the last truck to leave and no one left us anything.» Er, okay. The move was fine, they worked really fast and got it done.
The HORRIBLE: Then we went to go use them for our most recent move on May 1^st, to go from Garden Grove to Irvine. I was a bit scared since I read the review about them not showing up after getting confirmations, but figured it couldn’t happen to me that was just some dude who didn’t know what he was doing. WRONG!!!
My father called and talked to Jason to set up, he said to email him the details. I went ahead and did that. Emailed back to confirm, he said we were all set for the move date. A few days before the move we go to follow up, my dad calls him to confirm. Jason says you should have a confirmation email that is automated from when you selected your move date. I tell my dad we didn’t do it like that Jason just responded via email himself to confirm. We try and call him back, no answer. Call him on my phone, no answer. Text him on both phones, no response. Email him, nothing.
Okay, so we figure, whatever maybe since I set the appointment he didn’t know it was my dad. They’ll still show up just like last time, WRONG! Day of the move, we are calling, texting, everything again. Then he finally texts my dad. «Dad had heart attack. Dynasty Movers. (Their phone number).» And that’s it. WTF. So they just completely shut down because he had a personal problem? Not to mention he doesn’t ever text, call, or email me. He was able to answer my dad’s call and when we call back literally 2 minutes later we just got screwed? Give me a break, so full of crap.
It is now May 1^st, EVERY mover is booked, no U-​Haul trucks available for rent. Luckily, after begging with a mover, we get someone to show up at 3PM to help us with the move, where we are now sorely behind schedule and have to pay through the nose since all their movers are going to be on overtime.
It is sad, because the movers they use do a really quick and good job, but Jason just sucks. He really should just get a cheap assistant to take calls and schedule stuff because he obviously doesn’t give a crap that he’s playing with peoples livelihood. What would we have done if we couldn’t find anyone? Worst day ever, not even an apology.

One of the worst moving companies I have ever worked with! If you are doing a long distance move DO NOT use Elite! Save yourself the added stress. Jason is one of the most unprofessional people I have dealt with. Not only is he argumentative, he lies. he over promise he under delivers. He will have you pay before your move now I know why. I was moving out of a 2/​2ba apartment. I had made arrangements to use this company 3 weeks before my move. For whatever reason he continued to change the price on me; then when he didn’t think I was going to use them he emailed me again and changed it back to the original quote he initially have me. He was all over the place! 2 days before my move he insisted I had to pay the full amount up front? I asked if I could pay half then pay the rest once my move was complete because why should I pay upfront for a service that has not yet been completed?!! He told me it’s because I was using a credit card? So what? I’ve used movers many times and NONE of them ever had collect money BEFORE my move unless it was a deposit.
Jason and I discussed details of my move several times on the phone and via email. There were no surprises. He knew I lived on the top floor of my building (which he came to and saw BEFORE my move) and I made him aware that I would be moving to a top floor unit at my new location as well. I also told him I was going to be putting some of my things in a storage unit since I was moving into a ¹⁄₁ ba apartment once we got up north so he knew what to expect and I told him I would need 3 – 4 movers on BOTH moves and he agreed.
Day before my move Jason notifies me that I will be sharing a truck with another party which is why he decided to take my price back down to the initial quote he gave me. Didn’t you tell me on the phone and in person I would not be sharing a truck with anyone!!! When I expressed my concern of mixing up our things Jason said I need to not worry because this is what they do and they’re professionals (screw that how about you keep your word).
Day of my 1^st move Jason and his guys show up and Jason right away has me sign paperwork which I was told was the initial paperwork but would be receiving another set after my move was complete (never happened). The guys loading were nice but did not handle my stuff and shrink wrap it the way the said they would. I asked Jason to bring 5 wardrobe boxes which he said «no problem» then shows up with 3. There were numerous times I went downstairs and saw my couches, cushions and bed other items unwrapped, sitting on the dirty ground, and had to continually ask they put it on blankets and cover them. It took 6 ½ hours to load!
On my way up to the bay I called Jason and asked what time he planned on arriving? Jason assured me that he was leaving around midnight and would be in the bay NO LATER than 9 am. I said ok and when I asked how many movers he said he would have 3. I expressed my concern and told him I think we need 4 since that’s what we discussed because I knew how much stuff we were moving plus we had 2 stops. Knowing how long it took to load I didn’t want to spend another 6 – 8 hours unloading. He said I would have 3 for sure (that was another lie!)
Day 2 of my move Jason texts me at 8:30am and tells me he won’t be arriving until 12 – 12:30.I was not happy especially because I was already on my way to my place, I said ok because what could I do?
Then once the truck shows up only 2 guys get out (Jason and the same guy that moved me the day prior) no one else! Both guys looked terrible and exhausted! I asked Jason where the 3^rd guy was and he tells me it’s just going to be 2 guys… I just about lost it!
From the time they parked the truck to unload I didn’t see Jason for almost an hour! He had his partner unloading little by little while he’s on the phone smoking cigarettes downstairs. About 2 hours into it Jason comes at me and tells me he doesn’t know why I’m so pissed, and doesn’ t appreciate my attitude. I told him I was upset because he was 3 hours late and then didn’t have 3 guys like we discussed! He proceeded to tell me I should be grateful he doesn’t keep my shit until I paid him more! Are you kidding me??! You were the one that gave me the quote! Then he tells me I should appreciate his work how tired he is and that it will get done. Who wants to hear that from a guy they are paying a service to? I was exhausted and stressed too! Sorry you are so unorganized and overbooked yourself how is that my problem? You shouldn’t do long distance moves if you don’t have the man power! Not only did I have to help unload myself, Jason had the nerve to ask me if we could give him a ride to the bank?!! Are you kidding me? WTF? My friend took him because I was afraid he wasn’t going to complete my move (took 35 additional min) didn’t finish until 9pm. A lot of my belongings were scratched, ripped and lost. Do NOT use this company, there are too many other to choose from!

My wife set up an appointment with Jason and had the confirmation email to prove it. The date and time of the appointment came and went but nobody ever showed up. We called and messaged Jason with no response. We ordered another mover and we never even had to cancel with Elite because they never had any follow-​up with us. Luckily when we called the other moving company they still had availability and showed up within the hour. Talk about night and day as far as service goes. If there is any question that this is a trend all you need to do is read a couple other reviews. DO NOT use Elite.

I used Elite Moving for my move from Irvine to Northern California. I had only ever done local moves before and was shocked at the insane range of quotes I was getting back for my long distance move. Some companies even said they would have to hold our stuff for up to 3 weeks — no way! I contacted every moving company I could possibly find through Unilocal and google and Elite Moving was the most competitive quote AND offered next day delivery!
Jason was great to work with. We had a hard time finding a place to move to up north and then found one available immediately. I was worried about scheduling a move on such short notice but Elite Moving was great with our schedule and it worked out perfect.
I’ve done several local moves with miscellaneous moving companies and Jason and 1 other team member loaded our apartment faster than I’ve seen a team of 3 – 4 guys do it before. When they arrived we still weren’t done packing yet (I ended up running out of moving boxes and couldn’t get more until the last minute — crazy week!) and they were really nice and helpful about our lack of preparation. This was actually my first move out of about 6 – 7 where my entire apartment was packed that day. Usually moving companies leave a lot of stuff behind and I take several car trips back and forth. Elite Moving was very thorough and made sure I wasn’t in a position where I was driving up and down the state — phew!
Unloading the next day also went very smoothly. Nothing broke which is a first! Usually I lose a glass TV stand or something as a casualty in my local moves but these guys managed to keep everything intact 500+ miles. I moved the cash to pay the movers from my purse to my backpack for safe keeping and then didn’t remember doing this. At the end of the move there was about a 10 minute window of my husband and I panicking and scrambling trying to find this cash envelope. My husband was understandably pretty upset with me for losing the money. Jason was also really nice and patient about this situation and everything worked out just fine. I really appreciated Jason’s patience and professionalism through all my shenanigans.
Highly recommend using Elite Moving! Can’t believe the easiest move I’ve ever had has also been the farthest one and its because of Jason, his team, and the great work they do.

Elite moving and delivery in Huntington Beach is an excellent moving company. Jason coordinated our move and was flexible with our timing schedule. We remodeled the home we were moving into. We had hope to be moving Thanksgiving weekend but construction was not completed and we had to change our move in date 3 times. This was not an issue with Jason and he accommodated us and was reliable.
The manager Steve had the most positive attitude and he found a solution to all our moving needs. He kept the crew motivated, our furniture was shrink wrapped, and we had no damage to any of our items. Special care was given to our new wood floors we had installed, and he made sure the furniture had felt pads placed on legs before putting in the new furniture.
We are so pleased with this company and highly recommend them for all your moving needs. I would use them again, and give the overall experience 2 thumbs up Moving is highly stressful for anyone, but Elite movers made the process efficient & enjoyable!

After many calls to moving companies Jason was the only one to get back to
me right away and do a free in home moving estimate. Based on the rate and
Elite movers Unilocal reviews we hired them. On the day of the move Donnie
Jason Steve Joe Chris were ready to move us and they were on time. My
husband is a professional athlete and travels so I was stuck with all the
stress. Elite Movers moved our 5,000 sq ft home in 1 day. There was no
damage & no problems. They wrapped all our furniture and took care of
everything. I would recommend Elite Movers for your upcoming move. Their
rates were very good and the workers were very professional.

Scheduled Jason to help me with a move 3 weeks prior to my moving date. Kept in communication with him up until the move date, and he confirmed via email that the movers would be at my apartment, ready to help me with my move.
The moving date came, and the movers were nowhere to be found, Jason wouldn’t answer his cell phone or emails, and I was left stranded. Eventually ended up finding another moving company to help me with my move, but DO NOT use Jason and his Elite Moving & Delivery Service company. Very unprofessional what they did and would not take the chance in using them.
Updated after I saw the company response:
No contract since no mover would require that prior to you arrival, but how about I post the email exchange that I had with you? I don’t lie, I look out for the public so that they don’t have to deal with this kind of crap. Here you go !

These guys are good. Very good. I have moved many times (being in the Coast Guard) and this was by far the easiest, least stressful move so far. The crew was quick, efficient and courteous. The communication was fantastic as there were frequent texts and phone calls between the drivers/​manager and myself. They were prompt and on time and got to work right away. There were no hidden fees like I have experienced with many other moving companies. These guys are the real deal and very professional. Anyone giving them a negative review probably works for a competing moving company because there is absolutely nothing negative you can say about these guys. I booked my move the day of and it was a move going 120 miles and had zero issues. I will recommend them to everyone as this is the company to hire if you are looking for a moving company.

Jason was great from the start. I needed a long distance move from Northern to Southern Calif. He quoted a great all inclusive not to exceed price and completely came through. His workers Steve and Joe were polite and hard working. They arrived on time and were all remarkable with communications before and during the move. Finally I noticed that the movers took extra care no not damage any piece of furniture or property. I highly recommend this company.

I highly recommend Elite Moving and Storage, I had to quickly move from my apt in April and put my household items in storage, they have been in storage until today, August 4^th, during this time I was dependant upon someone to get my things out of storage for me, the timing for him was not conducive to either Jason’s or the person picking them up, I have to say Jason was so understanding and very considerate of my situation, he would always say whenever you are able to come it will be alright, your things are safe. Today was the first time I met Jason, I consider him to be the friendliest person you could meet, he even helped us to load up the truck, so yes I would recommend them, you will definitely be most satisfied! Thank you so much Jason for everything!

CONFIRMED BUT THEN DID NOT SHOW UP ON MOVING DAY! The evening before my scheduled move day, Jason confirmed by telephone that everything was all set for my move and even asked if they could start an hour earlier at 8am. At 8:30am on move day, one of his guys calls to tell me that they were not able to complete their previous day’s job and would be about 1 – 2 hours late. When the truck hadn’t shown up at my place by 11am, I tried calling and texting and emailing all the phone numbers/​contact info associated with this company I could find. I called every hour. .. 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm 4pm –THEY NEVER ANSWERED & NEVER SHOWED UP! By 5pm, I was in complete despair and scrambled to hire a different company. Jason ended up calling me at 10pm with no good excuse other than he didn’t get cell phone reception all day.
I cannot believe that this happened. DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU. Look elsewhere for a moving company.

I tried to schedule an in-​home estimate with Jason. He told me what day he would be in my area with another move and said he would call after they finished unloading the truck. On that day I hadn’t heard from him so I texted him and he told me he wasn’t in town yet and would be there the following day and he would contact me then. The next day, I never heard anything from him. I sent two texts and an email and neither of which were returned. And if for some reason ‘they could not be a service to you since we were over booked with current moves,’ the least they can do is tell you that and not just leave messages unanswered — UNPROFESSIONAL. If this is how they treat someone before booking a move, I can only expect it to go down hill from there.
In response to Jason’s comment — You never texted me saying you wouldn’t be able to make it. All it takes is a few seconds to correspond with a potential client.

These guys are the business !!! 5 stars all around fast, friendly, professional, and beyond amazing two work with.

DO NOT USE! I called and scheduled and NO ONE showed up! After several calls and attempts, no one returned my calls. This place is a joke and I will be making a formal complaint to the BBB. We were stuck at home packed and ready to go with no movers. Had to call 20 different places to find last minute movers because of them!!! Such a joke!
In response to Jason’s comment — I got a call at 2:10pm CONFIRMING my 3pm appointment, he asked me what items we had and if we needed clothing boxes, not ever was I ever told NO ONE WAS COMING! Then at 3:15 — 3:20pm when no one showed up all of our calls were ignored! By you Jason and by your employee who had just called me an hour before! I would be happy to attach a picture of my phone log! You left us stranded, moving is stressful enough and you guys made it even worse! To do this to people is unspeakable! My children especially didn’t deserve this! Jason didn’t call until 8:30pm when my appointment was at 3pm, giving excuse after excuse. It takes a real man to own up and say you messed up but all you try to do is put the blame on someone else. Get your act together!!! We are now paying another company to come out today for 2x the amount it would have cost us because of you! And that’s ok with us, it’s not about the money, it’s about getting the job done. Jerk!

If you’re moving within California and seeking a professional, hassle-​free, reasonably-​priced and overall pleasant moving experience (yes, moving can actually be pleasant), look no further than Elite Moving Services!
Mine was definitely a 5-​star experience.
I had already signed on with another moving company when I reached out to Jason and Elite Moving Service. Four days before my scheduled move, the other company called to inform me they were not doing moves within California until next month. I found Elite on Unilocal and immediately called.
Jason was amazing. He matched the flat-​rate quote from the other company, scheduled my move with 3-​days advance notice, emailed an easy-​to-​understand agreement and called twice to confirm before move-​out time. Next day, all my belongings were delivered to my new home without a scratch.
Elite Moving Service took all the stress out of moving. Highly recommend them.

Short version:
I have not moved yet, but that process starts this Saturday and I will update this review after all is complete. 5 stars are being given now for how awesome it has been to work with Jason. He has been super proactive in calling to confirm our details and the epitome of perfect customer service — asking what we need, what time works best for us, and honestly trying to be a person we can rely on to actually make this process fun.
Long version:
After calling around we settled on a large, well-​rated company. However, each time we tried to reach out to confirm our plan with them, they had a new plan for us. We realized quickly that going with that company meant communicating with various people in the office, who were not the people doing the move. This ongoing game of telephone was impossible to navigate and I cannot imagine with how disjointed it all was how things would have gone for the actual move had we continued with them.
We called Jason of Elite and his approach was great from the start. He responded immediately and came to our house to give us an estimate. He gave us his cell phone right away and texted when he was close, etc. so we were in sync from day 1.
After looking at our stuff and plan for the move he gave an estimate that we were fine with. He asked what days and times would be best for us and gave great pointers (such as communicate with neighbors ahead of time so we don’t annoy our whole courtyard!) He is polite and professional AND he will be with us every step of the way. He will be here for packing, loading and will be driving the truck himself from SoCal to NorCal!
His approach has helped to keep us sane and I actually look forward to this journey! Keep up the awesome work Jason and the Elite team.

I’m literally having tony and Daniel move my things at this moment. They were on time, extremely professional and have gone above and beyond. I’ve moved several times and have never had this great of service. I’m a pretty hard Unilocal reviewer and they definitely deserve 5 stars. Thank you Tony Corry and Daniel for your excellent service and your hard work. I will be using you in the future and will be referring you to my family, friends, and colleagues!

These guys moved me for the FOURTH time yesterday. I cannot recommend them enough! They were courteous, helpful and extremely professional. One of them even moved me two years prior and remembered me!
Joe, my main point of contact (lead mover? I don’t know what to call him… knight in shining armor, perhaps?) realized early on that I was extremely overwhelmed with the move. My brain kept freezing like a 1989 Mac Plus trying to run simultaneous programs.
He and the others jumped in and took over the reins, helped pack and organize things, and made me feel like I wasn’t moving all by myself. I had to move an entire salon on really short notice which means they had to disassemble cabinets, disconnect plumbing, you name it. They did it with ease. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to move (and maintain their sanity while doing so)!

Elite movers was recommended by a good friend of mine from his positive experience. I did not get their service, but attempted numerous times to get in contact with Jason to coordinate a move over the course of a week and half and it was a hit or miss on when I got a hold of him to talk about what I needed. I must need a new line of communication, because phone calls, voice mails, texts and emails do no good, but I do feel better about myself after reading about others with the same experience.
I would be weary of the positive reviews on Unilocal.Elite movers incentivize customers who leave positive reviews.

I am very appreciative that this place was able to accommodate me a day before I had to move. Few places were able to move me.
This was not a horrible place. The guys that did the actual move were very nice. I would say that they moved at an average pace. They were careful with my stuff too.
I had a 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo and moved to a 2 bedroom, 1 bath house. They charged me $ 765 + tip. That seemed expensive to me. The other downside was that they showed up 2 hours late and I had to work in the afternoon. I felt bad that I had to leave my husband to deal with the last few hours of the move by himself.
I’d call them again if I was in a pinch, but if I had more time to plan then I would call someone else.
