Manager

Serving as General Manager at California Imports has been a true blessing. The people that I’ve had the opportunity to meet and get to know over the years is the main reason I enjoy coming to work. I am lucky to have David, President of CA Imports, as my Manager and Mentor. His 29 years of experience in the industry and wisdom are constant and dependable sources of information and guidance.

Since we are a «BUY HERE, PAY HERE» dealership and do our own Financing, we often give people a second chance and help them re-​establish their credit. I find it greatly rewarding to be able to help people to that magnitude.

We pride ourselves with being dedicated to the business and our clients. We are here to serve you and offer an open door to all.

Jason is helpful and friendly they do all their own financing so you must be a local or it makes it a little difficult to pay them in the shop monthly or you have tonset up wire transfer and call them after to let them know it was you. BUT worth it since they are nice

I just came from this dealership. First, they had to jump start the vehicle that I had phoned about. They handed me the keys and let me take the car by myself. The gas gauge was on E and the windshield was so dirty I could hardly see because the sun was causing a glare. I pulled out onto Beach Blvd and when I went to use the breaks, they were all the way down to the floor. It felt like the SUV was not going to stop. I did a u turn as soon as possible and all of the lights came on in the dashboard. I just prayed to get back to the dealership in one piece. There was also a great deal of noise coming from the back end.
Why would a dealership not have their inventory ‘ready’ for a test drive? Especially when they know they have someone coming in for a specific vehicle. The craziest dealership story I have to date.

We had a pleasant experience buying our car at California Imports. David and Angelo are very nice people. They always speak honestly with us. When we got a problem with the first car we bought from them, they come to help us solve at first time. Then we are thinking about change to another car, they are also kind showing us more options. During the experience, we also have great chats on culture things. We were staying too late, they even bought roasted chickens for our hungry stomach. We had a wonderful experience there. They are sincere people. We feel great to meet such nice owners.

I’m not sure what the people in the other reviews are talking about, but I had a great experience and would definitely recommend them and shop here again. I test drove a few cars and they were all very nice. Eventually I picked one that was best for my situation (price and value), and feel that I got a great deal on my BMW. Every time I drive with the top down I can’t help but smile. The price was right, it runs great and looks even better. David was very kind and not pushy at all. I find the other reviews to contradict my experience, however it is shown that people are more likely to write a review about their bad experience, than to leave one after a good experience. Anyway, check it out for yourself, they aren’t pushy and it’s probably best to do your due diligence and see for yourself. Thank you David!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! All their cars are extremely over priced and the salesmen are rude jerks with really negative attitudes. I came here looking for a car and they showed me these torn down cars that smelled like the previous owner had let their dogs piss all over the interior. The salesmen did not want to negotiate the price at all and was constantly pushing me to get a bad car that I didn’t even want. There was one car that was decent but it was almost like he didn’t want me to have that car and once again mentioning the other smelly used car. If you like rude salesmen that want to sell you piss soaked cars, then this place is for you!

The cars are too overpriced!!! Do not come here! Got into an argument with the guy trying to sell me the car because i told him that the car was not worth the price. They do not negotiate prices! If you are planning to get the car at a lower price, it is not going to happen! These people made me not want to get a car from a dealer anymore, that is how bad it was.

They sold me a car that was illegally modified. Because of the illegal parts, it won’t pass smog testing. I’ve been quoted $ 900 to fix.

If you enjoy the stereotypical used car flimflam experience. You should shop here. The only thing they are missing is polyester suits and cigars. They don’t list the mileage of cars on their website of cars that have high mileage… that alone should tell you something.
