We are totally impressed with this shop! I would never go anywhere else. Jeff and Josey kept us updated the entire time our vehicle was being repaired. They worked directly with our insurance company and made the whole process extremely easy. When we came to pick up our car, it seriously looked brand new! Like there was never any damage. Paint matched PERFECTLY!!! They definitely went above and beyond. Customer service is excellent. We have referred several friends and family members here. They even offer a lifetime guarantee on all work completed, for as long as you own the vehicle. Can’t beat that!

I had gotten a quote at another body shop, but decided to take my car here as they are the recommended repair center for my Mazda. They are actually at the Mazda dealership on Beach Blvd (HB Mazda). Jeff took care of my car start to finish. Great communication about the status and repair process. He has been in the business a long time and really knows his stuff.
Since my car was a hit and run, my insurance company was not able to waive my deductible. This is a major bummer due to the way the laws work in California, so any way you slice it, I was gonna be out $ 500. And no rental car. Bummer. So long story short, I wanted a shop that was gonna be quick. Jeff was pretty sure that if I dropped off on Monday, he could have it done by Friday.
So, dropped off on Monday, they took it apart, asked Safeco for additional work, which was approved on Wednesday. Jeff called me today about 3:00 (Friday), and as promised, the car is ready. I picked it up about 4:30 right as Omar (their detailing guy) was just finishing up detailing my car. Looks pretty much perfect. Paint matches, looks like nothing ever happened.
Overall a great result and relatively painless, other than my inconvenience having someone hit my car and leave the scene. Oh well, not everyone is as honorable as the guys at Boulevard Collision Center. I hope I never need them again, but if I do, I will go there again.

I took my car here after a distracted driver tried to merge into me. Yikes. The damage was fairly extensive to my driver’s-side fender and door.
The good first:
Flint, my estimator, was very friendly and took care of all the insurance negotiation on my behalf, which I really appreciated as a busy student. I could tell he knew his way about the business. The work on the fender was good and sturdy, but…
The bad: The paint doesn’t exactly match my car! At first, I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me (since I knew it was different paint, so maybe I was convincing myself it looks different, or something), but now I’ve seen it in all different lights and have asked opinions of others, and the verdict is: definitely not a perfect match.
I know the paint is not as important as the fender work (which was the good part), but this is the shop that my dealership recommended. I expected something a bit more than your average body shop. The paint is sort of «metallic» so maybe they figured it didn’t make a difference as long as the base color was the same? I will be the first to admit that I don’t know anything about body work, but I DO KNOW that the paint does not match.
It also felt a bit sneaky because I picked up the car at the very end of the day (but still within business hours) – no one was even there except the lady working at the front desk. In a way, I wished that either a detailer or Flint had been there so that when I looked over the car, I could have my concerns made clear immediately. This probably wasn’t done on purpose, but again, it was relatively shoddy customer service. I guess they were all too much in a hurry to leave to make sure a customer was satisfied.
I would take it back to get fixed, but they had my car for three weeks. This is another thing that was sort of irritating. Even though initially, the shop was good about updating me, after week 1, I had to start calling to hassle them. I know that they had to wait for a part to come in (the new fender), but the car was very drive-​able – I think they should have had me pick up the car, and then bring it back in when they had the fender. All in all, I really didn’t appreciate that they would take SO LONG only to have the paint look only meh. 3 weeks is a long time in SoCal without a car…
I wish I could give the shop more stars, because there was nothing terrible about the work, but it was overall a fairly disappointing experience. If, however, you’re stuck there due to insurance issues, ask for Flint! He’s great.

I’m going to start this review saying that the management at this shop are really nice, so they are NOT lacking in customer service at all. They addressed my concerns professionally, and I was very pleased with that aspect of my experience.
With that being said, I was semi-​satisfied with the work done. I say semi because they did complete extra requests of mine after my inconvenience, but the work done initially, and the «free» work was… mediocre.
Now to the nitty gritty. I initially brought my car in to have the rear bumper and tail light replaced, which is not an astronomical task if you are a body shop. They had my car for two days, and when we went to pick it up… wow. The detailer brought it the first time and it looked like unfinished work and there was still wax or some chemical smeared all over it. We obviously sent it back, and then…
The detailer (same guy) brings it back and as he is getting out of the car, proceeds to tell me, «Sorry miss. I am just in a hurry to get out of here». Really? You’ve had my car for two days!!! Wtf? So needless to say, we decide to look over the car and boy were we surprised when we found…
Scratches that weren’t there before! On the trunk and the hood! I was getting my bumper fixed… how are there scratches on my hood? Additionally, there was a scratch and shitty touch up paint on my «brand new bumper». At any rate, management came out (Flint is awesome) and handled the situation professionally and was more than helpful in offering to correct the mistake. SUPER satisfied with this part of it.
Eventually, all of the work got done (4 days later), my bumper was fixed to perfection, but the «free work» (I put free in quotations because, while we didn’t pay for the detail and buffing on small scratches already in my car, my inconvenience paid for more than enough) was lacking. The detail consisted of shampooing fabric and carpets in my car, but it definitely wasn’t a full interior detail. But here’s the REAL kicker, and the least expensive part of the whole thing, but makes ya wonder why they have these employees working for them (meaning the shitty, lazy detailer)…
I had a lighter and two $ 1 bills in my car… were they there when I got my car back? Nope. I know it’s not anything of extreme value, but the point is that there is a thief working there… regardless of how petty.
My advice? Flint and his boss are awesome… but they need a completely different staff working for them. Hope this review helps, and I sincerely hope they find staff that cares as much about the business as they do.

My mechanic recommended I take me car here. I’m glad I did, they did a great job, it looks fantastic.
