Got the buy 10 get 1 free macaron box. The macarons were ok, a little grainy, not as crisp as I expected. The best one out of all the macarons was the raspberry one with jelly. They probably have other pastries that are good and they had nice looking baguettes, but the macarons aren’t the best.

Baguetier Bakery is great place to pick up macarons and head to the beach! I don’t usually think of macarons when I think of Surf City, but perhaps I should! Baguetier Bakery is located feet from PCH and faces the Strand so if you are at the beach with a woman as I was, you will be going in. The bakery’s interior is bright and cheery, perfect for the mac loving denizens of HB. We shared several macarons and the coffee definitely stood out as the flavor king. Hazelnut was another excellent choice and the is ubiquitous option at most bakeries I was told that the Hazelnut is the«standard of a good mac boutique». Who knew? The pistachio was a bit weak in flavor, yet still proved to be perfectly good thanks to the excellent mouth feel of the filling. I in no way consider myself a macaron aficionado but I keep company with one and this bakery registered zero complaints.

This place is under new ownership and they don’t offer any gluten free items. BOOOOOO!!! I was heartbroken when I skipped in with a salivating mouth excited to shove a giant GF chocolate chip muffin in it only to find out that they only cater to lucky gluten eating jerks. Sigh. Does anyone know if the previous owner opened shop somewhere else? TELLMEWHERESHEIS… FORTHELOVEOFGOD, TELLMEEEEEEE!!!

My favorite bakery down by the beach! Been here three times already. It’s almost a must when I go to Huntington to stop here. To get an iced coffee and select one or a few of their dozens of pastries. After I just sit right outside at their seating area and eat. Also soak up a beautiful scenery right in front of me! Their pastries were just right, not overly sweet or plain. Price was fairly cheap. Service was on point. See you guys again!

VERYVERYVERY good bread pudding. Was strolling around Huntington Beach with my buddy and an aroma of freshly baked goods somewhat drifted us to Baguetier. The first thing that caught our eye was the ginormous bread pudding, so we just had to order it. No kidding, it was really really good! The bread pudding was not too sweet, it was just the perfect amount of sugar/cinnamon. We paired it with our latte and coffee. Delicious. The barista/staff that helped us was really nice. Oh! They are really pet friendly as well because they have a small water bowl outside the bakery for furry friends! Price is decent. The lemon tart also caught my eye but I didn’t order it. I will definitely come by again if I’m around the area to try it!

Great presentation, good cookie selection, love it here. The service is good and we are happy to stop by every time we are in Huntington Beach. Stop by when ever you are in the area to see if they are having their free cookie offer!

Just come here. Delicious gluten free/vegan pastries. I come here for my iced coffee with their homemade almond milk & organic syrups any time I’m downtown. The staff is very friendly! Pumpkin or Chocolate Banana muffins are great. Their cookies are delish too– especially the peanut butter!

Under new management… unfortunately they don’t have macaroons as the old places used to have … but this is now a yummy mostly gluten free bakery… from muffins to cupcakes to breads and cookies… something for everyone… nice alternative to the usual pastry shops. they even offer gluten free baking flour if you wanna try your baking skills at home.

Ok, ok so I didn’t get anything to eat here. Because they didn’t really have anything. It was a Saturday afternoon and the area was packed. Bake some more if your all out then. I had seen beautiful loaves of bread on their website and was excited when I passed the shop on the way to the beach. We went inside and while the kids working were really nice, the shelves were pretty empty and there was just nothing that caught my attention. The store itself is pretty small, but very clean and modern. There was not one loaf of bread at all, just a few pastries that were grossly overpriced. Given the location that didn’t surprise me and I’m sure I’ll have another peek and find something that I want next time.

5 stars for the MACARONS! O.M.G! I was SO happy after I took my first bite of macarons(french pastry… not to be confused w/the coconut macaroons) at this bakery. Main reason is because they were delicious and 2nd reason is that i FINALLY found a place near my house that can make these suckers right. Trust me when I say that I’ve tried many places around the OC. The only other place that is worth my time and money is Bottega Louie in LA. ***Thank you Baguetier for opening in good old Huntington Beach where I don’t have spend tons of money on gas AND i can take a stroll to the HB Pier after I get some of these yumminess. The outside had just the right chewiness. It wasn’t crunchy, flaky or doughlike. You can taste the flavors and they didn’t taste artificial like some of the Viet places in Bolsa or Irvine. Filling: very tasty. It tasted like they used good ingredients and not powder or artificial! Some of my FAVS were: Orange creamcheese, lemon nutella, lemon milk chocolate, pistachios. SoSo: black currant and rose raspberry –not into the jelly filling, But the overall was not bad. NOT a fan of: vanilla strawberry — i thought this one lacked flavor and it was only the middle that you got a hint of strawberry jelly. **PARKING can be a bit of pain. It’s beach parking, so during the summer it can be a bit challenging.

A nice and easty place to get your grub on especially if you have a sweet tooth. You can get caffeine and a nice sweet treat. They have yummy chocolate Mint covered Marshmallows. and signature coffee with three shots espresso. Chocolate Yuzu Macaron made in house along with several other flavors. The chocolate chip cookies are good. Words can’t describe the flavor offered here, but the pictures do a pretty good job! P. S. They make baguettes in house! Baguetier Bakery… another reason the OC is the best place to live!

Croissant Croissant 5 stars Macarons overall 4 stars Vanilla Strawberry macaron– 4 stars– strong pure vanilla taste with tons of vanilla bean flecks in the filling and in the shell. Once you get to the very center, there is a tiny dollop of strawberry jam. Since the macaron is so big, I wish there was more jam instead of just an almost dime-size bit in the center. It’s so good though and was a nice surprise. Lime basil Macaron-3-stars –very strong lime flavor which overpowered the basil. Could taste the herb the more I ate it, but I didn’t love the combo as much. Bittersweet chocolate macaron –5 stars. Bitter and sweet! Like a nice chocolate truffle in the middle. Finally, a chocolate macaron with intense chocolate flavor. Loved it. Salted butter caramel Macaron –3 stars. Tastes like sweet buttercream without too much caramel or any saltiness Love that the moment you open the door, a savory aroma immediately surrounds you and invites you inside. It was so hard to narrow down to a few items, because both sweet and savory offerings looked amazing. Decided on their signature original butter croissant and some macarons. The croissant may possibly be the best croissant I have had in CA. Flaky, golden, soft interior– a perfect hint of sweetness from both the butter and sugar, and beautiful layering inside. I actually sat in my car, took a bite and said ‘oh my god’ out loud with a serious face. OMG in the best way possible. The macarons are bigger than most places and are $ 2 each. Mostly interesting flavor combos. Best was the straightforward bitter chocolate one. So good! The ‘bun’ parts of the macarons had a nice thin crispiness and a perfect chewy layer underneath. They didn’t get too crumbly. A bit too much filling for me(felt like eating a cake with icing, and I’m not an icing person). Overall I felt like though the flavor combos sounded very interesting and promising, one of the 2 combined ingredients dominated and pretty much masked the secondary flavor. Some of the macarons had a buttercream filling and some had more of a jelly-like filling. They were all enjoyable, but I can’t get my mind off of the croissant. Will definitely return for the pain Au chocolat, cheese rolls and maybe a little bit of everything else. Parking was a piece of cake in the parking structure off of 6th(underneath the Shorebreak Hotel). It says $ 2 for the first 2 hours. However, I parked, did my bakery run and made it back to my car in 15m or less. When I pulled out with cash in hand, she said I was all good-no parking cost. Sweet!
