I am the Owner of Blushing Brides and I, backed by my amazing teams of artists and stylists, am at your service. As the Owner and CEO, I take great pride in the work we do and I personally make sure all of our brides are completely happy and relaxed on their wedding day when it comes to their hair and makeup and, of course, looking and feeling absolutely beautiful. 50 years from now when you look back at your wedding photos, I firmly believe with all my heart that you should still be able to say, «Gosh, I looked AMAZING that day!» With Blushing Brides’ unique skills in hair and makeup, I am able to ensure just that. It is my personal mission in life to take that stunning bride look you’ve been dreaming of since you were a little girl and turn it into something extraordinary that you positively love and will always remember as perfect. I hired Blushing Brides to do my hair/​makeup for my 10/​17/​2015 wedding, and the hair/​makeup of my bridal party. I enjoyed speaking with Theresa from the start. When it came time to schedule my trial run there was some drama with getting this set up, but I found Laura (the trial coordinator) to be helpful and responsive and eventually we got the trial set up for the Thursday before my Saturday wedding. Mia came to do my hair and makeup and I absolutely adore her. She is a doll and extremely good at her job. The trial went well. Mia told me that I’d receive a schedule for the wedding day. I did not. The morning of the wedding I started to panic because I had not yet heard from anyone at BB. I called Mia though and she was very helpful and said she’d have someone get in touch with me, and that she’d be by to do my hair/​makeup. Within five minutes I got an email from Theresa apologizing for not sending the schedule; it was in her drafts folder. No big deal. Two makeup artists arrived and did my bridal party. Mia arrived on time and got my hair and makeup done. Again, i just LOVE Mia! So wonderful. My bridal party looked amazing, everyone had fun getting their hair/​makeup done. It was a great experience.
I deducted one star for the shenanigans with scheduling the trial run and the not getting the schedule prior to my wedding day. I would have given five stars just for the hair/​makeup itself.

Mia did our hair and makeup for a friends wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. She was timely, professional, fun, & talented. She had some great creative ideas for the girls who she hadn’t worked on before and we were all extremely satisfied. I love how she was able to achieve the exact hairstyle I had in mind even though my hair is very kinky, curly, and hard to manage. I’ve never felt so beautiful and received a million compliments.
As far as the company as a whole, we were all very pleased with the administrative end. Prices are reasonable and scheduling was a breeze. Everyone who we met there was extremely personable and friendly. We will definitely be referring BB to all our friends and families for future weddings and events!

The ladies of Blushing Brides were incredible to work with! As a participant in their Body Confidence Campaign, I was able to spend a lot of time with them. They are fun and down to earth & incredibly talented. Lauren did my hair, & I have never received so many compliments. My make-​up was flawless, thanks to Grace. I have never felt as beautiful as I did that night! I can not say enough about these ladies!

I am not able to say enough about the absolutely fantastic work of the Blushing Brides company. I actually had the pleasure of personally meeting Grace, Theresa, Lauren, and other members of the team; every single individual I met was fun, professional, and did AMAZING work. These ladies get it — they are calm, cool, collected, but love to laugh and socialize with everyone as well. They worked so hard to be on time and actually finished earlier than expected, which was super awesome. I spoke with Theresa and Laura throughout my planning and she was so on-​top of EVERYTHING. Additionally, they did my make-​up for a boudoir photo shoot as well as my wedding, and both times I was absolutely obsessed with how amazing I (and all of my bridesmaids, sister-​in-​laws and mothers) looked! Even during the trial I loved the make-​up, but something special happens on your wedding day when you’re even more surprised by how wonderful everything turns out. I cannot recommend Blushing Brides enough for their amazing work and fantastic personalities. You must be a customer of Blushing Brides for your special day — you will be thankful you did! We hired Grace and her Blushing Brides group for our Berkshires wedding back in the Fall 2012 after a referral from a good friend who had her makeup done by Grace for two previous weddings. From the moment I met Grace for my trial run, I knew I was going to love working with her. From a girl (me) who LOVES her makeup done, but has no idea how to do it herself, Grace was so helpful and accommodating– offering her expert opinion and stylish ideas. She was truly wonderful to work with. I LOVED my trial run hair and makeup so much, I decided to spoil all the bridesmaids, mothers, and grandmothers on our big day by getting all their hair and makeup done too, so they’d feel just as beautiful. It worked out perfect. Even though the weather didn’t pan out for us and we needed to make last minute hair changes to accommodate very strong winds, Grace did such a beautiful job and I still receive comments and asks for referral. Thank you so much Grace and Team, we loved working with you! :)

Out of all of the vendors I dealt with during the preparations of my wedding, Blushing Brides was the best. They were all professional, responsive, clear and very caring. Alicia, who handled all of my communications prior to meeting with the artists and answered questions during or after the wedding, was amazing. Always very prompt and professional. I loved that out of all the hair and makeup companies I looked into Blushing Brides was the most flexible. Travel costs, the amount of people that were necessary to get done the willingness for them to go the extra mile for me… it was all magnificent. Mia and Emily did the most amazing job on us and I felt so beautiful. Most vendors you look at make you go to them on the wedding day or charge you a fortune for them to travel to you. On the day of your wedding the last thing you want to do is worry about getting to the vendor and having time to make it to your wedding or get last minute details handled. This took the worry right out of it and the cost for them to travel 40 minutes was so minimal. They made sure I looked beautiful as well as my bridesmaids. I was overjoyed with the results!

Grace was absolutely wonderful! She did my mothers and my hair and makeup for my wedding and it lasted all day and night!
I usually get pretty greasy as the day goes on but this did not happen the day of the wedding. My makeup lasted throughout all the stress and events of the day. My hair also lasted perfectly and nothing was at out place the entire night.
I cannot recommend BB enough! Wonderful experience from my first inquiry, trial run and day of!

Blushing Brides did my daughter’s makeup for her prom and they were wonderful to work with! 5-​stars all around! Theresa, their Bridal Coordinator, was excellent with scheduling and Grace, our makeup artist, did an amazing job with my daughter’s makeup giving her the exact look she was hoping for and making her look so glamorous with the 60’s style look that she was going for! I am so happy we chose Grace and Blushing Brides for such a special day in my daughter’s life and I will look for all further opportunities to work with them again in the future! Grace and her team did a fabulous job with my sister-in-law’s wedding! They were professional, on time, and conscious of my allergies. I am allergic to talc and my eyes have swollen shut from professional makeup applications in the past. Grace made sure that she personally did my makeup and came prepared with talc-​free products. Everyone looked fabulous and we received compliments all day. I was married a year ago in Upstate New York and five days before my wedding the stylist I hired called and said that she did not have talc-​free products (something that we had discussed in person and emailed about several months prior). I explained the severity of my allergy and she still wasn’t sure if she would be able to get talc-​free products in time. I reached out to Grace and she not only offered to talk with my stylist about the products she used, but also offered to travel to Upstate New York and be my stylist if it would be helpful. My original stylist was able to get the appropriate products in time; however, if I could go back and do it all again I would have hired Grace and her team right from the start! If you are looking for an exceptional team of stylists look no further! Thanks!!!

I had Grace do my makeup for my prom this year and I love what she did! I wanted an Old Hollywood inspired look and that’s exactly how I felt when she was finished with me. I got so many compliments on my makeup from my friends at prom and it lasted all night and was even still on the next day after sleeping on it! Airbrush is awesome! I can’t wait to have Grace do my makeup again for this year’s prom and for future events! Thanks Blushing Brides!

From the beginning dealing with BB was terrible. Their coordinator Theresa took weeks to get back to me each time… then blamed it on being understaffed… which you shouldn’t be telling a client. She failed to set up a trial run in time as well. She constantly apologized and I wish I had canceled with them within the first signs of unprofessionalism. Besides dealing with her my artist showed up 45 MINUTES LATE on my wedding day with no call to myself or my 2 alternate contact people. The artist also insisted I get false eyelashes to make myself look nicer, then had the audacity to charge me for them! In the end I was pleased with the results of my hair and makeup but extremely disappointed in the customer service I received for the price paid. Steer clear of this company if you want a smooth wedding planning process and day.

I hired blushing brides for make-​up services for my wedding. I wish I could separate my review of the make-​up artist vs the company itself because I have very different opinions on both.

Molly was great. She was energetic, full of positive energy, and did a great job on my make-​up. She listened to me and was open to any concerns I had and never pressured me to spend more than I wanted to. I’m not sure why she’s not even listed on the website as one of their «star artists»

I would absolutely NOT recommend using this company. I initially met with Lauren Carelli to talk about my needs and get to know the company better. Our initial conversation was great, so I moved ahead with putting down a deposit. However, the minute they took my money all forms of communication stopped. Theresa, my main contact was very unresponsive and it would take weeks for her to respond. In addition, I also had to constantly correct her about my services. Confirming my trail date also took several e-​mails and phone calls before she finally confirmed a date. Then, 3 days before my appointment she calls me to reschedule because the company decided to do a last minute job that required «all hands on deck.» I found this very rude and unprofessional of the company to take another bride’s request over my own.
Finally, my contract took a ridiculous amount of time to get to me. I sent all my information in asap but had to wait more than 3 weeks to get my contract. I was seriously wondering if I had been scammed by this company. Luckily, Molly was there when it mattered and everything turned out ok in the end.
However, the whole process was stressful. I strongly urge you to look elsewhere!

This company deserves no stars. I urge you to get a contract with specific expectations outlined before any, ANY, money is exchanged. They took a deposit and then proceeded to have horrible communication and did not respond after 2.5 weeks of attempting to schedule a trial. It was completely unprofessional and after no contact from them, the situation forced going with another vendor (who has been SPECTACULAR!) They are now refusing to give back the deposit despite nothing indicating deposits are non refundable. This is completely unprofessional and horrible business practice. Weddings and planning are stressful enough without dealing with businesses like this. Go elsewhere.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Blushing Brides. When planning my wedding, I knew that this would probably be the only day I would want professional hair and make-​up. In thinking about my late evening ceremony, I knew I’d want the day to feel relaxed and not want to have to leave our beautiful hotel until it was wedding time. Blushing Brides’ on-​site service was a perfect fit. I could tell from my initial interactions with their planners that they were the perfect balance of professional and relaxed. Throughout the entire planning process, it was easy to stay in touch with them and they would often email just to check in and see if I had any questions. One small but really great thing about working with them was that they kept all communication on the same email thread; whenever I had a question or wanted to go back and check something they’d said, I could easily trace the conversation. When you’re emailing a dozen vendors over a 9-​month period, this becomes incredibly helpful! And as far as Mia, my stylist, is concerned, she was absolutely top-​notch. I had one picture and very little else to go on inspiration-​wise, and she perfectly captured the look I was going for. On the day of the wedding, she was efficient but never made us feel rushed. Mia fit right in with our group. Everyone looked gorgeous, and I’ve never felt more beautiful! I’m so glad I found this service – it was worth every penny!

I have been working with Grace and her team from Blushing Brides since I got engaged. They did my hair and make up for my engagement shoot, a hair and make up trial and my entire wedding party’s hair and makeup (including the mother of the bride and mother of the groom) In total, it was 9 girls getting hair and make up done, on site in 6 hours!
The make up looked flawless and lasted on everyone all night, the hair stayed perfectly in place and was touched up just before the ceremony.
Grace and her staff are so friendly to work with! Bethani and Theresa worked with me throughout the past year to organized a schedule, all of my appointments and were incredibly organized!
Even better, Blushing Brides travels to you, making it easier than trying to compete in a salon on a Saturday morning or carting people around.
I recommend Blushing Brides to everyone! I will be sure to use them again in the future for photo shoots!

I booked Blushing Brides for my August 2013 wedding. I had originally booked another vendor, but she double booked and left me stranded a few months before my wedding. My mother found Blushing Brides online and we booked a trial run. At the trial run I had a difficult time explaining exactly what I wanted, but Grace was able to take my vague ramblings and create the exact look I wanted. It was like she could read my mind! I knew right away that I wanted her to do my hair and makeup on the big day so I cancelled the trial runs I had scheduled with other vendors immediately.
On the day of the wedding Grace and her assistant came to my hotel room in Boston and did hair and makeup for me, my mother and my 3 bridesmaids. They were able to create looks that were consistent, but still managed to achieve some individuality for each person. We all used airbrush makeup and it didn’t look cakey or heavy at all. We also used the fake eyelashes. Everyone gushed over how great the makeup was and it stayed put all night! My photographer was able to get me my pictures extremely fast because she didn’t have to touch them up as much as she usually does!
Everyone I dealt with at Blushing Brides was very nice and professional. It was very apparent that Grace takes her business very seriously, but really enjoys what she does. Her personality and jokes really made me feel at ease at the trial run and on the wedding day when I could easily have been freaking out!
I would definitely recommend Blushing Brides and I look forward to using their services again!

I have never looked better in my life than I did on my wedding day. Of the 477 pictures just got from my photographer, I look bad in about six of them, and that’s only because I’m blinking.
Bree had been careful to document the updo she created for me, taking digital photos at every step during the trial run, so she was able to make me look as fabulous on my wedding day. My makeup was perfect. She was even able to minimize the gigantic zit I had. It felt like the only thing anyone would see, but you have to look really carefully for it in pictures!
I got so many compliments from everyone involved about how beautiful I looked at my wedding. The only person who wasn’t overly impressed was my husband, but that’s because he says I always look beautiful. Smart guy, huh?
My sister, who was my matron of honor, also looked lovely and got exactly what she wanted. (But importantly, she did not, of course, look better than me!)
I cannot speak highly enough of everyone I’ve dealt with at Blushing Brides, especially the fantastic Bree. They were worth every penny I paid, and more. I would recommend Blushing Brides without reservation.
