100% satisfied. I had my car at a different repair place for 4 days, and no one there could figure it out. decided to try aamco. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! Kermit rebuilt our transmission on a good reliable impala on 9−3−11. Less than 15 months later the trans is blown. We towed it to our local mechanic who opened the pan, and saw a ton of metal shavings. Our warranty was for 1 year. We called 4 times before Kermit would talk to us about it. He came off right away arguing over the milage (within 5 miles), then about the date of service (I said the 2^nd, he went on and on about 3 days prior, as if any of that matters) It was hard to get a word in with this con. Accusing us of everything instead of standing by his work. Typical scam. Said he would tow it back, but we are out of luck on the trans. and we are not trans professionals (like him, rt, lol!!) so how should we know. (like the other mechanic who told us it was blown, and with all the metal shavings, wasn’t a conclusion??) Why would I pay him to rebuild it a second time? Maybe it should be called The Kermit Welfare Program, since he’s the only one who benefits, continuously if your that dumb. $ 1910.65 we should have spent elsewhere. If you get the 2 yr warranty, be weary on it breaking in 2.5 yrs. They seem to have this down to a science!
