I’ve went here for the last year and a half for my regular oil changes now and have been very happy with their service (The first time I went I had to wait 45 minutes even though I had an appointment and they comped the service for my inconvenience!), but I just went through BMF to lease a new card and the process was pressure free and pleasurable. Brian W was super helpful, friendly, and again didn’t put the pressure on and let me decide options for myself. Great experience overall and I will shop again with BMF! Thanks, team!

I’ve always had a great experience trading in, and buying, here. Jeff Moon is the best new car sales manager I’ve ever dealt with. He’s not one of those a**holes that hides in a back office. His door is always open to customers. Best trade in values and they go above and beyond to make our car buying experience stress free. They even made 2 dealer trades on one sale for me because I changed my mind about colors. Great dealership.

Going to a service department at a dealership you’ve never been to, in a town you’re a new resident in is always a little nerve racking because you really just don’t know what you’re going to get… Well, I’ve been to Bob Maxey three times now, for various service needs (oil change, tire check when pressure was low, and tail light replacement), and each and every time has been beyond a pleasant experience. From the friendly and knowledgeable service managers to the friendly and efficient service mechanics, Bob Maxey is hands down the best Ford service department that I have ever been to, and I’ve been to quite a few in MI, FL and CA! Thank you, Bob Maxey! I am planning on purchasing a Ford vehicle next year and I will most definitely be purchasing from you!

Great service! I had 2 recalls needed and the first dealership I went to which is about 5 minutes closer to my house wanted to keep my car for a whole day to service and that was with an appointment.
I brought my car to Bob Maxey without an appointment and was out of there in less than an hour.
Only reason I knocked off a star was because they’re wifi was down and when I asked about it, no one really seemed to care and see what could be done to fix it. Just a small thing, but would have been nice for that extra level of service to at least find out why it was down and see if they could get it back up. I had planned on doing work while I was there and was counting on wifi to do that.

First off, let me say that I appreciate Bob Maxey Ford of Howell’s service center for diagnosing my truck’s misfire problems without an appointment. On my way to work in Howell today, my truck misfired and the Check Engine Light came on and stayed on. I knew that continuing to drive the truck could cause more damage. So I stopped at an AutoZone and had them OBD-​scan my truck to see which code was stored. The code was a cylinder 6 misfire, and I knew I would have to take it to the nearest dealership to find out more. Upon arriving at the dealership I was told I could leave my truck for the weekend. This would not work for me given I was over fifty miles from home. I asked if they could determine something, anything today, and get me back on the road. At this point I volunteered the info given by AutoZone that I had a cylinder 6 misfire. They said they would need some time to look at it. The service writer gave me the news that I needed new spark plugs and boots, and mentioned that they looked like original spark plugs, I informed him that another dealership had changed the plugs around 70,000 miles, but I didn’t know if they’d changed the boots. I had anticipated needing new plugs, and had found the same part number, Motorcraft SP534 spark plugs, at the same AutoZone I had stopped at minutes before driving on to the dealership. I asked the service writer what his pricing was on the spark plugs knowing that I could have them for $ 6.99 a plug at AutoZone. When he quoted me $ 12.00 a plug, I asked if he could price match for the same plugs at AutoZone. At this point another service writer chimed in and said there was no way they were selling the same part at that price, casting doubt on the product AutoZone carried. I asked if that was possible with the exact same plug and part number and he said AutoZone’s part wouldn’t be the platinum-​tipped spark plug. Having heard this I took the second service writer at his word and allowed them to start the work. I returned to my laptop in the customer lounge (which has fresh popcorn) and reviewed the specs of the part from AutoZone, noting that the plug was platinum-​tipped, I went to show the second service writer, for future reference that the part was in fact the same. I received a snarky remark that I wasn’t his service writer and to show it to the service writer who wrote my quote. I showed it to the first service writer and asked him if by chance he could match the price from AutoZone, or at least cut me a deal, because lets face it, it never hurts to ask. He responded that «we run a business here, and can’t just give parts away.» I said jokingly «like you aren’t (edited) — taking advantage and making money — on labor». At this point the service writer told me «I could take my truck elsewhere If I didn’t want them to perform the work.» I never intended to given these guys a hard time, I was upset that I was having troubles with my truck, but has happy they were going to address it. Needless to say, I could not believe how condescending these two service writers were. Having driven by the dealership 50+ times and thinking I’ll buy my next truck here, given their extensive inventory, which really is great. I cannot and will not support this business any further than my $ 400 repair bill to get me on the road again.

Great job. Did every thing I asked them too. My truck is still under warranty so they made sure they fixed every thing that was wrong since I just pay one deductible each visit.

Bob Maxey Ford of Howell is the BEST! We were upside down with our current vehicle. They helped us out of the high interest loan and a vehicle we didn’t want to keep. Al, Kyle and Dan of the Used Car Dept helped us into my dream truck, a slightly used 2014 F-​150 Lariat. We truly enjoy our new truck. (new to us). They were all so pleasant, informative and helpful. We were able to drive away in our new truck that same day. We want to thank everyone at Bob Maxey Ford for their excellent service.

Second visit with the service center. Problem with the retractable running board on the 2013 f150. I made appointment to bring in vehicle the day before. When I arrived to the service area I waited about 5 minutes and then was allowed access to the garage. Met by staff that seemed focus on getting me out of the vehicle and wasn’t clear if they wanted to know about the vehicle problem. I was than referred to a kiosk area where there are podiums that service representatives stand. This is where you actually want to give details of the problem. The rep informed me that I could have a seat and I explained that I need a vehicle to travel in because I have several destinations that I needed to travel. They informed me that this is impossible. They suggested that I get my truck back and come back later when I could sit in the department to wait. This I find is UNACCEPTABLE. As a service related department I am shocked that they would not have thought about offering a service vehicle.
I am still giving them 4 stars as the technician was very efficient and resolved the problems with the vehicle in short order so left with my vehicle repaired as requested. This could have gone another direction I suppose but as it went otherwise well I must admit they pulled through.

In more than fifty years as a driver and car owner, Maxey Ford and their predecessor Krug Ford is far and away the most trustworthy and honest dealership with whom I have ever dealt. For many years, once my cars were out of warranty I never returned to dealerships until I needed another car. It seemed as though local garages were more approachable and fairer in their charges for service than selling dealerships. I am pleased to say that I started having my vehicles serviced at Maxey/​Krug 13 years ago, and that dealership satisfaction lead me to purchasing 4 new cars in the last 9 years there. Now and then we have had minor squabbles, but I believe that this business agrees with the principle that, «The customer is always right.» I have cheerfully referred others this establishment and they too have become happy service customers, as well as new car buyers. Keep up the good work Maxey and you’ll have my business for life!

Fabulous service. no need to seek out an independent auto service center as cost is very competitive and who better to service your Ford or any make for that matter. Another person was in for service on another brand (broke down and stranded near Maxey) while I was there and was quite satisfied also. I drive by other dealers to do business with Bob Maxey Ford and will continue to do so!

I went in for an oil change/​tire rotation and some rattling in my car. I was so impressed with their renovations! They did a beautiful job. The waiting room was really nice with drinks, snacks, and free wifi. I was done in just over an hour. My car is back to normal and done well. Everyone was very nice and kept me updated. There was even someone that asked if I wanted to be taken home! I obviously didn’t need that, but what a great offer.

Again Bob Maxey Ford has lived up to my expectations. The do say what they are going to do and do what they say. They do the job right and stand behind their workmanship.

Everything went as it should. A lube oil filter tires rotated all done promptly and a nice clean waiting room. Coffee popcorn and snack bars made the waiting room even nicer. and all at a good price.

Bob Maxey is amazing they offered several suggestions with our minivan, offered to take care of items for a very minimal charge, and a few things offered as a courtesy just for using them often. The office staff is very accommodating and friendly, with FREE coffee, snacks and wifi. Love coming here!

Excellent service and trustworthy techs for my non-​Ford vehicle. Could not be happier. Even with a major renovation in the service department everything ran smoothly. Tony and Dan are true professionals. Don’t hesitate to bring your vehicle here for service.

I’ve now had experiences with the dealership, service department, and the collision centers! The dealership has GREAT associates! New, online, and used car sales people are all fantastic! I had my oil changed a couple of months ago, and they worked around my schedule so that it was convenient for me, not just them!
My most recent experience was with the collision center. No one likes being in an accident. They made it quick and easy. Dropped off my car, and my insurance company had coordinated with the shop to have a rental ready for me. When all the repairs were done, I drove up in my rental and left it there. Convenience at it’s greatest!

Everyone in the dealership was very friendly, and Brian Waldo was fantastic (as always). My family has purchased something like 8 or 9 vehicles from him over the past 23 years. His knowledge, eagerness to help and just all-​around great personality have been a constant since we first met when I was a teenager.
From my ’92 Topaz, to the beloved Mustang I just traded for a more family-​friendly Escape Titanium, each vehicle I’ve purchased has marked a significant milestone in my life, and he’s always been there with a smile & great advice. Needless to say, Brian has a customer for life in me. Though it’s nearly an hour’s drive to Bob Maxey, so long as Brian is there, my family will eagerly pile in the car and make the trip each and every time.

Wow, I don’t know how anyone could say anything bad about this place. I brought my 2012 Lincoln in for a oil change. While they were doing the oil change they discovered a nail in my tire. They patch the nail and changed the oil and I was in and out in a half hour. Great people.
