Zoe’s is pretty good. This location seems to have gotten better since it first opened. I went last week and got the chicken kabob plate with the rice and salad. The chicken and rice were good like any other Zoe’s. My favorite thing about Zoe’s is their salad/salad dressing. This place is a good option for a healthy/semi-healthy meal for not too much money. I have had most items on the menu at the Washington Ave. location, and they rarely dissapoint.

Was pleasantly surprised by how good our dinner was here. I had only tried Zoe’s twice before(once on Washington Avenue and once in The Woodlands) and both times the food was bland and boring, but this time it was spicy and flavorful. I got the shrimp kebabs which come with a plethora of shrimp & grilled zucchini, rice pilaf(which tasted like brown rice and was yummy), cucumber raita(kind of like a tzatziki sauce), side Greek salad, and pita bread. I gave my spouse my pita, Greed salad and cucumber raita and took his grilled vegetables which came with the beef kebabs. The grilled vegetables has a lot of sauce on them but were good nonetheless. The zucchini and shrimp were flavored with a a lot of chili powder to give it flavor without a lot of salt and it worked. I thoroughly enjoyed the rice pilaf and the portion size was good. Definitely worth the money — it was around $ 10. I didn’t enjoy the limeade as I think they forgot the sugar and didn’t squeeze much lime but I refilled with the iced tea to make up for it. The best part about this location is that it’s dog friendly so we were able to eat on the outside patio with our dog and they even gave him a bowl of water which was extremely nice and appreciated. I will definitely return to try different entrees.

This place has good food, but it’s the ROACHES that I don’t like! Check your food before consuming it. You might find a ROACH disguised as a back olive! This tells me that this pace is unsanitary.

If you’re looking for something a little different with a Mediterranean twist, try out Zoë’s. The food is good, fresh, and consistent. I think this location is particularly consistent during lunch. I really enjoy the steak roll-ups, pasta salad, and Greek salad. The grilled veggies are also excellent. Seriously try it out!

The counter service pressured us to order. I still looking up at the menu after telling her that I was not read and she asked again! Then, there was the drink counter. It was filthy AND had a roach or maybe mouse? dropping on it. Nobody ever came to clean it up. I should have left at that point but we had spent $ 30. My food came and the order was all wrong. They never could get it right so I think that’s just what you get when you let a bunch of kids run the joint.

I go to lunch here all the time since it’s close to my work! The food is good and pretty healthy. I usually get the chairmen kebabs, turkey stack or the chicken orzo soup. The regular hummus is also one of my favorites as well! For dessert the chocolate chip cookie is huge and amazing! Very chocolatey! Only downsides are the parking can be tight and sometimes the place gets a little messy with dirty plates. Overall a great place to grab lunch or a quick dinner! Their take out and catering is good too!

Worst. Meal. Ever. I fear that I lack the vocabulary to express how truly awful the food here is. I ordered the Chicken Mediterranean plate. It contained lukewarm, dry, hard chicken, sickly sweet grilled onions, stewed beans that appeared to contain equal parts beans and salt, salad with which you could pour the oily tasteless dressing on, and soggy pita. I initially sent the beans back and they gave me pasta salad which had no taste. After another bite I decided to cut my losses and send the whole meal back as none of it merited eating. I get that people want to eat healthy. I do too. But chicken that has apparently been sitting out for a couple hours is not healthy. Oily salad dressing is not healthy. Beans so salty they could peel paint is not healthy. I feel bloated and icky and have this aching feeling in my stomach right now for having attempted to eat something that was clearly not fit for human consumption. Seriously, this food couldn’t have been any less appealing. Don’t ever eat here.

Decent food at this location but terrible staff. The place is empty but staff all on their cell phones while dirty dishes sit at several tables. Host Chloie and cashier Laura: you can and should do better than this. Very disappointed.

I never wanted to eat here because the color theme repelled me on some subconscious level, but I finally gave in after many supplications from my sister. Well, I was very wrong. This place is gooddddd. I had the hummus & salad plate. It was a good lunch portion with a balance between all the elements on the plate. The food is made super fresh and perfectly seasoned and the employees are extremely friendly. So the main takeaways: Don’t judge a restaurant by its color theme. Your sister is probably right about food suggestions because she knows you well. Hummus is still delicious.

This is my go-to spot for lighter fare that still fills me up. I find most«light» establishments only achieve light fare by cutting portions. Here, they just use better, healthier ingredients. I typically go for the lean turkey pita with a side of slaw. Lately, however, I’ve been ordering their tibuli(however you spell it) orzo salad with shrimp.

I always have a good experience here. In all honesty I have only had their hummus and chicken salad. But I do like all three flavors they offer and I find their pita bread to be delicious and fresh. The staff is always courteous and quick. They really helped us out with a relatively last minute catering request. But they made it happen and it enhanced our event! Hummus for everyone! :-)

OK food, not sure if the value is there in terms of what you get for what you pay, but maybe we just picked the wrong items. I will try it again & maybe have a better impression.

Although I like the food, the service is snotty. I was asked to pick a side and I didn’t want one of the side choices, so I chose humus. I told the cashier that the last time I had gotten humus, I was given 2 small pieces of pita bread. Looked at the receipt and it was $ 1.99 extra for the side of humus and .99 for extra bread. The problem wasn’t so much the cost, but I wish she had said something along the lines of, «Just to let you know, it is going to be an extra… blah, blah, blah.» I called it to her attention and the snotty cashier says, «Sorry about that.» That’s it. A flat sorry. Not«How can we make it better or get a cookie to compensate or a brownie…». So, I call the manager. He was also just as snotty and nothing, just a flat sorry and hung up. Food may be good, but I won’t go just because of their higher than thou attitude. Boo on you, Zoe’s Kitchen!

I have been to other Zoes Kitchen locations and this was by far the best! The staff was friendly, and the business is clean. I sat down and my food came out in a timely manner, it was warm, fresh, and delicious! I will make this my go to Zoes.

This was a total disappointment. I expected it to be the same as my experiences on Washington, but whoever put this one together missed the mark. During our stop my daughter and I got a Greek salad and a chicken pita. I got the limeade because in the past, I loved it and it was fantastic. It was always fresh and refreshing, this time it was bitter and tough to even drink. Then we switched to a soda from your typical fountain dispenser and every single one was flat and the syrups needed to be changed. This place is never busy and we went during off hours really no excuse. When I told the people working there about it, they could A) careless about my complaint and B) weren’t going to fix it. The chicken was very bland and I even felt the dressing wasn’t as good as I remembered. I know Zoes is a chain and you can’t expect a lot. I try to support places that do food right as far as use ethical and sustainable products, but it has to be decent. The pita was drenched in whatever they put on it and everything was falling out of the bottom. Again we were there during off hours at 3, no silverware and when I asked for two forks she brought one which she was put out to do. Then I had to ask again for another, she was even more put out. Why you wouldn’t just fill the silverware holders, I have no idea. I don’t feel this location is on par with the others, I won’t ever go back. Now for the good part, there cookies were pretty amazing. They do the really chocolatey version of chocolate chip cookies with Hersey’s kisses, which my daughter loves.

Ordered the chicken pita, which was very good. The side of potato salad was not so good. My husband ordered the chicken kabobs. They were good as well. The restaurant was clean.

I’m a little perplexed. How are your steak kabobs perfectly done with a little pink but your chicken on everyrhing is dry as leather? The salad is good, but with my meat I do need something edible. My chicken kabob was so dry I’m guessing it was already prepared and sitting under a heat lamp. My whole kabob order was ready in less than a minute. Hmmm. Even drive-thru burger joints make to order nowadays. Just becsuse it’s 2 pm post lunch crowd doesn’t mean I don’t deserve fresh food and not lunch leftovers.

Amazing mediterranean food. They have a gluten free selection menu, and it is delicioso! The chicken kabobs are my favorite. The fresh limeade is the best I had! The staff is friendly. the restaurant is clean and suitable for the entire family. The chicken salad sandwich is also a good choice, my teenager loved it.

For the second time in a row the chicken power plate was mostly slaw and 2 oz of chicken. I’m guessing Zoes downsized their portions across the board or it’s just this location. From now on I’ll just hit up Snap Kitchen next door or hit up chipotle for something fast and healthy.

Very tasty steak and chicken kabob. You can get it with two sides such as veggies/potatoe/rice. Etc. so goooood. It was such a beautiful day so we sat outside in the patio.

To-go Review: 4.5 stars I have only ever ordered to-go from this location but I have been happy with all of my experiences. The food has always been fresh, ready once I arrive and packaged perfectly. A couple of stand outs are the roasted veggies, rosemary white beans, hummus & warm pita bread and greek salad. The kabobs are pretty good but the two times I have ordered the chicken kabobs, they tasted a bit on the dry/overcooked side. All and all, I like having a quick(online ordering system!) way to order healthy food in my neighborhood… at great prices!

I wanted to eat something somewhat healthy so I decided to do lunch here today. Had the hummus as usual… it never disappoints. At first I was given three triangles of pita then I asked for more to finish off my hummus and I was graciously given some. Thank you! I tried their new quinoa salad and I was pleased. I would eat it again.

I’ve eaten at this Zoe’s twice – once I had the salad and hummus plate, my favorite, and once I had the grilled chicken on slaw. Both were excellent. The presentation on the hummus/salad plate when I ate in was fantastic. What tipped me over to five stars was that we had a large order yesterday for a birthday party – four family dinners with a variety of sides and kebabs(steak, chicken and shrimp). The food was excellent and I appreciated that I was able to order easily online. When I called to confirm the order, the person I spoke to was really helpful. There were tons of positive comments about the food from the grown-ups at the party. Highly recommend Zoe’s for large-group catering for a reasonable amount of money.

I’m so happy to have a Zoe’s here in the Heights! This location is right by lots of wonderful shopping on 19th and was a great addition to the neighborhood. My favorite menu item is the Greek chicken wrap. It is a butterflied and grilled chicken breast in pita bread with roasted onions. I substitute their wonderful feta slaw instead of regular lettuce and tomato and I really think that makes it so much better. I also like to add a little Tabasco to the wrap. They have many sides to choose from… hummus, Greek side salad, pasta salad, and more. My favorite is the white beans. They are the most delicious, decadent side on the menu! They are seasoned with rosemary and like nothing I’ve had before. Yay for Zoes Heights!
