VO2 Testing is a cardio and respiratory fitness assessment which will identify your VO2 & HR at your anaerobic threshold and peak. this test will provide you with your optimal heart rate zones to train within to achieve your goals.
The customized Interval Heart Rate Training programs increase your total calories burned as well as your lean body mass which both equates to weight loss and improved performance. The program increases your metabolic rate and keeps it elevated longer than any other «steady state» workout where you spend the majority of your time in the same heart rate zone-even if it’s a high one! This means you’ll burn more calories even when you are resting. The training program tells you how to work out and what heart rate zones to work out in for a specific period of time during each workout. The program is designed so you can either follow it alone, without a coach or trainer, as long as you have a heart rate monitor to use, or with your coach or trainer who can incorporate it into the program they have designed for you.

Established in 2008.
Going strong since 2008! Developed out of passion for health and well-being; with a history in running and triathlons and, at the time, a competitor and member of the Houston Triathlon Club; it all made since. Business Owner
My interest in fitness and helping others led to my pursuit of a career in Physical Therapy. I graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1987. I have created a specialty niche of services to benefit others; Physical Therapy, Pilates, VO2 Testing, interval heart rate training and weight loss plans. I completed graduate school in Business, 1997, as I enjoyed my profession on a corporate level. I completed my Pilates certification in 2010 as I began to realize I wanted «to do my own thing». My background as a gymnast and triathlete led to my interest in Pilates. My recognition of it’s potential to assist patients meet their goals and others achieve well-being led to my certification in Pilates.
