Our store specializes in providing instruments, supplies, and books for dental and dental hygiene students. Our selection of books in dentistry includes titles both for students and practicing dentists. We also have a great line of UTSD of gift items and apparel. Our apparel line includes scrubs, UTSD T shirts, hoodies, and jackets as well as lab coats. Custom embroidery is available.

The UTHSC Dental Bookstore is one of the Matthews group of Health Science Stores. The Matthews Book Company was founded in 1889 in St. Louis Missouri.
Meet the Manager
Kris N.
Manager
Kris has over 40 years of experience in Health Science Books. After graduating with a B.A. from SUNY Buffalo, Kris worked at the UB Bookstore and then moved to Houston where she worked for Majors Books for many years, managing the Majors stores as Vice President of Retail Stores. After leaving Majors Kris, taught elementary school and then joined the UTHSC Dental Bookstore in December 2009 as Manager.
