My mom has been having back pains along with her arm hurting. So I brought here to check out a chiropractor. If it’s your first time you have to fill out standard forms and then you see the chiropractor. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Most importantly, the doctor was very patient with my mom and explained to her what was wrong. They offer several packages and you chose based on what the doctor recommends plus a few extra visits.

Dr. Wayne is great! Had my first visit and this guy really knows how to do it right. Only problem is that this location does not offer the $ 49 monthly wellness plan listed on their website.

Dr. Wayne Wallen and the entire team at The Joint. the chiropractic place are the best of the best. Dr. Wallen is the only chiropractor I will ever go to, he is always friendly and makes sure to address every issue I have every single time. I have been to several other joint places and chiropractors and they are sometimes in a hurry and my reset wasn’t very effective. Dr. Wallen takes time with all of his patients. I have a friend that sees Dr. Wallen also and he agrees that Dr. Wallen is by far the best chiropractor ever!!! Also, the décor and ambience at the office is modern and chic. I love this place!!! Dr. Wayne Wallen, I salute you sir on your consistency on providing an amazing experience each and every time I visit!!! Check my other Unilocal review on another Joint Chiropractic place, they are not all great. If you have to go to one Joint Chiropractic place I highly recommend he Heights location with Dr. Wayne Wallen! If Dr. Wayne Wallen is not available that day, I trust Dr. Thomas Le as well!!! Trust me, I wouldn’t waste your time and money on another Joint location.

Dr. Carol and team are excellent. I come to this location after church on my way to work. While this is not my home location I’m regularly treated warmly and professionally. Dr. Carol did a great job of adjusting me and asking questions that led to good advise for my specific needs. I look forward to seeing them again soon!

Although it was my first time ever getting adjusted, the joint made my first experience a pleasant one. My fiancé and personal trainer recommended the place to me, so I knew I had to try it. The receptionist was very nice and informative, which is always appreciated. I had to fill out some paperwork before getting the adjustment to guide the dr with what areas he needs to work on. When we finally got to the adjustment, WOW! I didn’t know my back could crack like that! The dr was very nice and patient with me lol (I was a bit nervous). Anyways, I do not want to make this a long review, but I really enjoyed my first visit. I enrolled in the month to month plan and I am going to take advantage of it. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

Dr Ben I think I had today. Came in from Memphis TN at another Joint. They all have such great standards. I haven’t had a bad adjustment anywhere. So I’m looking forward to another visit this wk before leaving.

Snap, crackle, pop! After an adjustment at The Joint I feel so relaxed. After moving from Austin to Houston, I was concerned about going to another chiropractor. But when I came into this Joint everyone was friendly and helpful. The Chiropractor who helped me listened to my areas of concerns and focused my adjustment around those concerns.
I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a chiropractor or would like to try getting an adjustment for the first time. Their facility was clean, staff was friendly and listens to your concerns.

I have used a Doctor of Chiropratic medicine for over 20 years… I have never had a Doctors has wonderful and engaged as the ones at the Joint, I personally think Dr. Wallen should be DC of the decade, he is the best. If you are skeptical about DC care you are stucks in the 80’s get out and get into the Joint!

I really enjoy seeing Dr Wallen. He is very thorough and I am always relieved after his adjustments! Best chiropractor in town!

Today was the first time I’ve every been to a chiropractor. I’ve been having really bad lower back pain and headaches for the past week. Instead of trying to make a regular doctor appointment then get an mri then medication I decided to try this out. I went online and filed all my paperwork or and it only took me a few minutes. When I went into the office they had everthing ready for me. The staff was nice and informative. No headache yet today and to my suprise my back pain had lightened up some. I’ll be going back again.

Dr. Wayne did an excellent job!!! my boyfriend went in with so much pain and could barely walk due improper bending at work and Dr. Wayne fixed him right up I decided to get seen as well that day and I feel like I can run a Marathon

Excellent adjustment! I’ve been seeing chiropractors off and on, primarily for recovery since a car accident in 2003, but these guys have made me a full time fan of chiropractic care.
I started at the Shepherd location and moved to this one since it’s closer to home and I’m very happy with the care that Dr Wayne provides. He is thorough, takes time to listen to how I’m feeling and what’s happening with my body and then adjusts me accordingly. And you cannot beat $ 49 a month for 4 adjustments. That’s less than 1 visit cost me at other places!
If you’re unsure about chiro, take them up on the free adjustment and check it out. It makes a difference!

Great experience. I’m an experienced chiropractic patient and while this practice is a bit non traditional, I nonetheless felt like they did a great job and are helping me to feel better.
First they don’t take insurance. BUT the prices are cheaper than a copay, so it’s evened out. They also don’t have rolling tables or the muscle shocker things (I don’t know what they’re called — they put those electrodes on you and zap your muscles). So that was a bit disappointing but not a deal breaker.
Now to the great part. The front desk person (Christina is her name I think) is very sweet, welcoming and all around has great customer service. She clearly explains the packages so you know what you’re getting.
I am a big fan of the doctor I saw, Dr Mark Palandro. He did a really good consultation. I was fully aware of my issues (I have bad problems and had neglected them for awhile so I knew everything he was telling me was accurate — it’s what two other doctors have said). He performed the adjustment and clearly explained what he was doing and, more importantly, WHY he was doing it. That’s huge to me. A doctor who keeps you informed of your treatments is a major asset. I immediately felt better after one treatment. My spine is in bad shape and he informed me that I needed to come back three times a week for four weeks (standard for when I’ve neglected my adjustments for too long). He also warned me that I’d be sore (he was right and thankfully I wasn’t worried because he’d alerted me).
I bought 15 adjustments for $ 290. A bargain actually. Once those run out and I’m only needing weekly adjustments I’ll do the $ 49 per month package of four.
He also gave me some dietary advice to help my TMJ. I didn’t realize that bad gut flora increases cortisol levels which increases TMJ. But it makes sense!
I’m going back again today to get some more sweet relief!

I use to go to The Joint in the med center area (on holcombe). I tried this new one because it is close to my office. The guy that works there changed my life! I seriously feel like I have a brand new back. It is instant relief, he does such a great job! I’ve been twice so far and I am so happy with the results.
Once you’re signed up, it’s easy. I’m there maybe 10 minutes and I’m on my way feeling great!

One question I wanted to ask is that are Chiropractors really doctors? I have always wondered that if they didn’t actually go to Medical School, how can they call themselves doctors?
Anyway, I work 9 – 10 hours sitting at my desk, and not suing a headset, staring at my computer. With that, comes a stiff back, muscle ache, and neck issues. My neck had been killing me, and I had tried everything from heat, cold, massages, lotions, and potions. Before going to my doctor, I thought I would check out the Joint to see if they could provide some relief.
I walked in their new Heights location, and everything was new and shiny. I filled out some paperwork, and they mentioned they run a special for $ 19 for your first adjustment. Should you decide to do it on a monthly basis, you can visit and get 4 adjustments for $ 49 per month. Not too bad if this sort of thing actually works.
I visited with the doc, and she had me do a series of stretches, as well as hit some pressure points. I did end up hearing a crunching/​cracking sound, which was a bit startling, but did feel a bit more loose. She then did some stretches with my neck.
All in all, I was there about 20 – 25 minutes.
I felt a bit better right away, but the neck pain did come back, I’m not sure if you go on a regular basis if things would change, but it was worth a shot!
