Dr. Lester formed Kirby Health & Wellness, P.C. in February 2001. He has been a competitive swimmer, weightlifter, and athlete throughout his life and has recently begun training for triathlons. Dr. Lester believes that living every day to the fullest, requires a sound body and mind. «Any discomfort or limitation in our bodies motion, takes away from ability to enjoy daily life experiences.» His practice encompasses diversified Chiropractic, myofascial release techniques, physical medicine, rehabilitation, nutrition to help restoring optimal health and functional performance to his patients.

Dr Kenneth Lester is at the top of the chart in solving problems in his patients… and that is coming from a patient who was once married to an excellent Chiropractor. Office is clean and well run… His office manager, Kevin manages the flow and is so caring for the patients, he feels a bit like family. On the first visit Dr Lester was highly recommended because i was in spasm and very bad pain. He spent the time to listen and then to educate. In addition to trying any, and all avenues to treat the symptoms, he was equally focused on the cause. My work space needed to be totally reworked with ergonomics as the core. He told me my posture and the way i carried stress had to be changed… fast. That patience and shared insight plus the office rework has made a difference already, but his healing hands are the real gift to all of his patients. I have been going for a month and find that my body actually starts feeling better on the drive over to Kirby Health and Wellness.

Dr Nicole is fantastic! I’ve been going to her for 4 years and she really knows her stuff, it’s so great to have a chiropractor who is efficient yet thorough… I trust her completely– unlike other places I’ve been where I’ve left feeling like I got taken advantage of and didn’t even receive adequate treatment.
The office is clean and nice and the pre and post treatment machines (which are standard) really do seem to make a difference. I’ve referred several friends and they’ve all been pleased with their results. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I highly recommend Dr. Kenneth Lester and the entire staff at Kirby Health & Wellness. My first appointment with Dr. Lester was for lower back pain. I had been to other chiropractors in the past for similar issues. They provided a few treatments and I would feel better… for a while. Dr. Lester and his staff did a much more thorough evaluation than the others, and recommended a plan that would improve my back AND my entire body. I assumed most of the aches and pains I had experienced every morning were a result of my age, but Dr. Lester assured me I could improve my body with proper alignment, stretching, and exercise. After only a couple of months of treatments and changing my exercise habits, my 58-​year-​old body works better than it did in my thirties. I actually feel GOOD in the mornings now! It has taken a commitment on my part to keep up with the stretches and exercises, but Dr. Lester’s treatments and instructions have truly changed my life for the better.

Dr. Kenneth Lester is great! Very knowledgeable, pleasant and effective. I’d been suffering from frequest headaches from whiplash in a car accident when I came to Houston over 5 years ago. Dr. Lester treated it and I barely ever get headaches now! He does the adjustments painlessly and very professionally, making you feel like new. I like doctors who know how to utilize a holistic approach to healing, and he definitely is a star at it!

I first saw him for a pain in my leg, and with treatments, he was able to reduce the pain and help me manage it. He is always professional, personable and truly interested in his clients health. When I first came to Houston, my back was not in good shape. I’d done too much of my own moving and managed to throw it out pretty well somehow… and the stress of starting a new job wasn’t helping any. I tried a couple different chiropractors here (especially after my benefits kicked in at work) and they offered me some relief, but I couldn’t find anyone I really liked and trusted. I decided to try Dr. Lester at Kirby Health & Wellness after reading some positive reviews on the Houston Press’s website. I’m very glad I did.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Lester for well over a year now, and he’s definitely helped me with my back issues, to the point where I can go for weeks at a time without thinking about my back. I do find, though, that if I go in for a periodic adjustment it does help keep things «in tune.» So, if you’re suffering from back, neck, or joint pain, I highly recommend giving the folks at Kirby Health & Wellness a call… they will help you.
