Established in 1977.
The Taste of Texas Restaurant sets the standard in steakhouse excellence, serving only Certified Angus Beef, the finest steaks and prime rib available. Owners Edd and Nina Hendee opened the restaurant in 1977 which has become a favorite destination for thousands of satisfied guests. Steak enthusiasts can take a trip to the butcher shop to make a delicious personalized selection and cut. Attentive and unobtrusive wait staff provide you and your guests with excellent service.

My wife Nina and I own and operate this restaurant and it is the passion of our business lives. We started the restaurant in 1977 and are committed to presenting to you, our customer, the finest quality steaks and prime rib in a warm Texas atmosphere. Our wine list has won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for the last 19 years, and the 210 members of our staff are committed to taking great care of our customers.
