I ordered 2 large bouquets and 2 balloons. i was highly disappointed when my mother received 2 single flute tubes that you could by from Walmart for 10 dollars a piece and I paid over 100 dollars, what a scam. I could never make this up to my mother. You only retire once. Stay away from this place.

I order flowers for numerous occasions from the big floral delivery sites and have never truly been satisfied. I decided to go to a florist’s site and order direct this time and chose Sicola’s. I am so pleased with what was delivered. The recipient loved them and they turned out beautifully and exactly as pictured. Thank you!

Very disappointed in the two dog baskets delivered for our Adm’s. First we had to call to ensure that they were delivered by the end of the school day. When we placed the order for next day we specified that we were a school and needed the flowers sooner than later. Our school day ends at 3:10 the flowers were delivered at 3:00. A much less vibrant and expressive basket than what is on the website.

Ordered a balloon arrangement via
on the morning of February 12 for same-​day delivery. Deliberately chose a bouquet that was advertised as available for same-​day delivery. This was to be a surprise for my husband for our anniversary. Excitedly asked him when he got home that evening whether he liked his surprise. «What surprise?» Well, I guess no surprise now, right?! :-(
He received the balloons the afternoon of February 13, arranged and delivered by Sicola’s Florist. I ordered an arrangement of 3 mylar and 6 latex balloons, but he only received 4 latex. Is 2 balloons a big deal? Well, no, unless you’re paying specifically for the larger arrangement and they short you. (Never works in the other direction, does it? You just never hear, «Oh, I got my lovely balloons/​flowers/​cookies!» and then find out they received more than you ordered. Funny, how «human error» never seems to work in the consumer’s direction.) 3 of the 4 latex balloons were no longer floating… just hanging on the string, small and sad. If I’d wanted him to have that, heck, I could have bought a bag of balloons, blown them up myself, and tied them to a string. (Apologies for the sideways photo; can’t figure out how to rotate it!)
So for those keeping score:
*Guaranteed delivery not honored, and I was never notified by any means that the delivery did not happen. In fact, received an email that afternoon stating the order was complete and delivered!
*Order was shorted merchandise that was paid for.
*Condition of what was sent was very poor.
Best part? Zero customer service! Zero response! Zero concern for their disappointed first (and last) time customer.
Go elsewhere, please. You’ll probably regret using these people.

Terrible. Didn’t deliver the flowers. Never called, emailed, or anything. The delivery location was only three miles away from them too! Never again!

This company is so reduces and horrible. Don’t trust them because are not reliable and make sure you will be in hard time. My sister ordered flowers for my birthday from overseas but they made she and me because couldn’t delivery those flowers at day and they tried to bring them next day.(sooooo stupid policy) I think they do not know what it birthday means.
And the worst thing when you gonna call customer service they start to make super stupid and unacceptable excuses with impolite language.

Today is the birthday of one of my dearest friends. On my way to meet her I decided I wanted to give her some flowers. I stopped by Sicola’s at the corner of Westheimer and Chimney Rock. I had driven by before but had never been inside. The shop was lovely– very colorful and bright. It’s a little boutique flower shop. I wanted something out of the ordinary and Mark, Pat and Katya came up with an arrangement of rainbow roses, sunflowers and green hydrangea. I was completely blown away. I won’t use any other florist again! These people are THE BEST! Go in and check it out. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Sicola’s. Vicki L. in Houston

The flowers were delivered over 2 days late and looked nothing like the photo online. (Large Pink Perfection Bouquet from 1800FLOWERS) I understand that the blooms on the lilies are yet to open, but many of the flowers are broken, wilted, dry, and or smashed. For an arrangement that cost over $ 180 I am beyond disappointed in the quality of the product and the customer service. This is not the 1^st time orders have been mishandled, but it will be the last.

I dont recommend this company to anyone who wants to send a fruit basket. Reason is because I found some hairs in my basket

Lovely arrangement arrived at my office from Sicola’s Florist. The roses and greenery were very pretty and nicely arranged. The card was packed with coupons for future orders, which I appreciate, although it did make it a little harder to find the actual message.
All in all very happy with the arrangement. I have seen many people pay more for an arrangement that is not as pretty.

Flowers ordered through FTD — Vase and flowers did not appear as in photo. My husband paid $ 64 for a bouquet I could normally get at HEB for $ 15 and a $ 1 vase from Micheals. They were delivered on the right day, but that’s all I can say they did right.

How wonderful, however the floral arrangement that arrived was HORRIBLE! wrapped in plastic, stuffed into a vase, not even arranged. flowers that looked to have been days old, wide open and floppy :(
When they tried to communicate with the floral shop they were met with rude and inconsiderate and brash owners/​employees who berated them, making it seem like they, the consumer had made the mistake of bad flowers being delivered.
asking for a refund they were yelled at, being told that the shop didn’t take complaints! REALLY!!,???
wake up owner of SI COLAS Florist, you will not thrive with lackluster or rather LACK or customer service such as this.
Your flowers were overpriced, you did not stand up to the standards as I know them for 1 – 800 Flowers and honestly you should not be representing the logo of such a company. YOU SUCK! (SICOLAS Florist)

LONG STORY SHORT: Branded as a 1−800-Flowers, but will not take 1−800-Flowers promotions nor coupons; Horrible in-​store service; Fairly expensive; DID NOT DELIVER FLOWERS ON VALENTINES DAY TO A LOCATION RIGHT NEXT TO THEM! If you want the details, you can read them below.
I don’t even know where to start with this place. I went to this location of (theoretically) 1−800-Flowers because I had received a coupon for 15% off on flowers on in-​store purchases only the last time I shopped for flowers. I specifically chose this location because it is RIGHT NEXT TO my girlfriend’s workplace. This will become relevant in a second. Anyways, the few times I’ve shopped for flowers in-​person, I’ve received some sort of advise on what to pick, but here, I was just handed 3 different books and had to figure it out on my own. No big deal, but not the usual service I’m accustomed to. About 20 to 30 minutes of looking into these books, I chose a floral arrangement that was about $ 110, but somehow did not contain a dozen roses. I asked to add the extra flowers, which resulted in about 10 minutes of discussions amongst the employees whether or not it could be done. We cleared the hurdle of the extra flowers, and it was time to pay. When I presented the coupon from 1−800-Flowers, the manager just screamed at the employee «NO» and walked away. The employee was confused and went and talked to the manager, who continued to be brash and uncomfortably rude for my taste. They then proceeded to get on the phone for about 10 to 15 with God knows who to check whether or not the coupon was good to go. The verdict was that because they are a «boutique», they did not accept the coupons from corporate. I’m not sure what that really means, considering their entire store is plastered with 1−800-Flowers branding as is their printed receipt. At this point, and about 40 to 50 minutes in, I wasn’t going to try to go through this ordeal somewhere else, so I decided it wasn’t a huge deal and forked over the $ 150, including tax and delivery (next door). I specified that the address was right around the corner, that it was a business and that I wanted the flowers delivered in the morning.
On Valentines day, I had to travel outside of the state, and was unable to find time to call the store to make sure everything was OK. When I got home that night and asked my girlfriend if she had liked the flowers, she asked «what flowers?» I was a bit confused as to what she meant at first, but it became apparent that she had not received flowers that day, nor a call, nor an e-​mail about them, making me look like the most inconsiderate partner in the world. Thinking I could still salvage the situation, I called the store (since it was still opening hours) and asked what had happened to my order. Not only could they not find my order, nor give me any explanation as to what had happened, but when I said I could come by for the flowers if they could get them ready, they said they would not get a bouquet ready, because they only take orders there and send them off to «dispatch.» Who? I thought they were a boutique? Anyways, they said that when they «figured out» what had happened with my order, they would give me a call to see what I wanted to do about it. My options were to get a refund or get them delivered. When I asked when that would be, they said they could not tell me for sure, but definitely not tomorrow (the day after Valentine’s day). Needless to say I will be getting a refund and never stepping foot in Sicola’s nor a 1−800-Flowers.

Thanks for not delivering my wife’s box of chocolates, and then telling me to call back later when I call you to inquire about the issue.
