History

Arthur Garcia of Select Studios is a 20-​year veteran photo artist. He grew up as the son of a photo journalist in Mexico City, where he learned to print and develop film in the darkroom of his family home. His inspiration comes from his father, of course, as well as the work of fashion photographer Richard Avedon and documentary style photographer Henri Cartier-​Bresson. He specializes in fashion, beauty, and portrait photography. His work can be seen in Modern Luxury, Houston Bride, H Texas, PaperCity, Endeavor Lifestyle, and Envy Magazine. Other clients include Farouk Systems, Gym Grooming, Dimensions, Novalash and Lucho.

Arthur Garcia started Select Studios 25 years ago. He was inspired by his father who was a well know photographer in Mexico City. Arthur’s unique style comes from his fashion photography background and love of classic black and white photography. He loves his job because of the diversity of his clients.
